PCM-3117 Startup Manual 1
Before you begin installing your card, please make sure that
the following items have been shipped:
• 1 PCM-3117 module
• 1 Start-up manual
• 1 Signal cable 4P to 4P P/N: 1700001898
If any of these items are missing or damaged, please con-
tact your distributor or sales representative immediately.
The PCM-3117 is PCI to ISA bridge module.
For other PCI-104 bus applications, PC104+ module should
be used. For all modules to be compatible, PCM-3117 is
the solution.
For OS limitations, users must install PCM-3117 first, then
install the OS, or the computer can not recognize PCM-
3117.

The module has a number of connectors and jumpers
that allow you to configure your system to suit your
application. The table below lists the function of each of
the jumpers and connectors:

CN1A: PC104 plus
CN1A PCI Interface signal
CN1B: PC104
CN1B ISA Interface signal
CN3: Extended of several signals
CN3
Pin1: PCI_ISANOGO#
Pin2: PCI_ISAGNT#
Pin3: PCI_ISAREQ#
Pin4: LPC_SERIRQ
Note: Users must use 1700001898 on CN3 of PCM-
3117 to connect with CN20 of PCM-3380F A2
version. This will be the cable for some ISA
signals because the PCM-3380 A2 version just
adds CN20, so PCM-3117 must use for PCM-
3380/3386 A2 version.
