1. Cautions

The software version and pictures in this document are just for

reference only. Please useZTEhandset supportwebsite provided version

to download software.

1)Download theupgrade package.

Open http://www.ztedevice.com.cn/support and download the upgrade

package (update.zip) that matches yourphone model. Ifthe

downloaded package is not update.zip, unzip the package to obtain

update.zip.

Ensurethat your micro SDcard isatleast 3GB.

NotePlease referto ourcurrent version download size：.

2) Removethe SIMcard, thenback up thedata andAPPsin yourphone

before the upgrade.

3)Perform databackup.

Note:You should not remove the SD card during the backup process. To

avoid data lost,it isnotrecommended tocancel thebackup process.

4)Verify thatthefile intheroot directory of the SDcardupdate.zip

matches the model ofthe phone. Do not modifythefile nameand

extensionname ofthe filesin theupgrade package.

5)Verify thatyour phone has enough(at least40%) power.Chargethephone

if required.To avoid datalost or upgrade failure, itisnot recommended to

upgrade your phone through an SD card whenthe phone isbeing charged.

6)You should not perform any other operation onthephone during the

upgrade process.

7)Anormal upgrade should be completed inminutes. If the phone does not5

reboot or show anyresponse inminutes, you should performthe upgrade5

process again. If the phonecannot be started, perform a forced upgrade. If

the forced upgrade does not work, you should contact anafter-sale service

agent for support.

2.Upgrade Description

Therearetwo upgrademethods:normal upgrade andforced upgrade.

If the phone cannotbe started properly,for example, thephonecannot be

started,orthephone doesnotenter standbystate,perform aforced upgrade.
