USER MANUAL

domesc electrical appliances. This device may cause radio waves and, if not installed as directed, may cause interference to the radio or television, for example when the

device is turned on or o.

Operaon Manual

 Follow the safety instrucons and instrucons in this manual.

 This manual should be kept secure for future reference.

Safety instrucons (installaon and operaon)

 Never touch the device with wet or wet hands.

 The device can only be operated with the voltage described on the back and on the power supply unit.

 This device should not be posioned near moisture and water.

 Do not place the device on an unstable surface. The device could be damaged or persons injured. Any xings should only be installed according to the manufacturer's

informaon or obtained from the manufacturer.

 The cable is sheathed and insulates the electricity. Please do not place any objects on the cable, as this may result in loss of the protecve funcon. Avoid heavy loads on

the cable, especially on sockets and plugs.

 If you want to remove the plug from the socket, always pull on the plug and not on the cable. Otherwise the cable could break.

 To protect the device during a thunderstorm or when le unaended for a long me: Disconnect the plug from the mains. This prevents damage due to lightning strikes.

 An outdoor antenna should not be installed near power lines or other circuits. When aaching such antennas, extreme care should be taken, as contact with such cables

can be fatal.

 Do not overload electrical outlets, extension cords or other wiring, as this may result in re or electric shock.

 No objects may be introduced into the openings of the device, as in some places electricity ows and the contact may cause re or electric shock.

 Disconnect the power plug from the socket for cleaning.

 Do not use liquid cleaners or cleaning sprays. The device may only be cleaned with a damp cloth.

1 Safety Instructions

 Do not connect accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.

 The openings of the housing are used for venlaon, so that the device does not overheat. These must always be kept free.

 The appliance must not be located near sources of heat, such as stoves, heaters. Protect the device from moisture and weathering.

 Do not place any containers with liquids on the device.

 Do not expose the device to direct sunlight. This aects the funcon and could lead to damage.

 Do not operate the device in dusty environments. Heavy cigaree smoke can aect electronic devices. Damage caused by cigaree smoke will not be repaired free of

charge as part of the statutory warranty.

Insert Baeries

1. Open the baery compartment and insert the baeries there (page 3). Please pay attenon to the correct polarity (+/-) when inserng the battery.

2. Close the baery door again.

3. Remove the baeries from the device if you are not going to use the device for a long me.

Notes:

 Remove and replace old baeries. These could leak and damage the device.

 Remove leaking baery uid with a cloth. Avoid skin contact with the uid.

 If the baery or baery uid is swallowed, seek medical aenon immediately.

 In case of skin / eye contact, wash out the skin / eyes and consult a doctor.
