IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
2. Do not operate wine opener with a damaged cord or plug,
after the appliance malfunctions or if it has been dropped
or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the
nearest Authorized Service Center or phone Waring
Customer Service at 800-492-7464 for examination, repair
or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
3. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put the
wine opener in water or other liquids. This may cause
personal injury and/or damage to the product.
4. To protect against re, do not operate in the presence of
explosive and/or ammable fumes.
5. Do not use the wine opener for other than intended use.
6. This product is intended for normal domestic household
use only.
7. When using or recharging the wine opener, keep your
workspace clean and free from potential hazards.
8. For indoor use only. Do not expose the wine opener or
charging base to rain or other extreme conditions.
9. Never force the wine opener onto a bottle or attempt to
speed up the mechanism. The wine opener will work best
when it is operated at its intended speed.
10. Do not touch or adjust the wine opener’s mechanism or the
corkscrew spiral. Hold the wine opener by its upper housing
only.
11. Do not attempt to open bottles if the power button is not
working correctly.
12. Do not attempt to open the wine opener or the charging
base. It has no user-serviceable parts. Charge the wine
opener only with the charging base and power adapter
supplied. Use only the power adapter with 9VDC/80mA
output as supplied with this product.
13. Never remove the plug from the socket by pulling the
power cord.

14. Use of attachments not recommended or sold by Waring
may cause re, electrical shock, injury or damage to the
product.
15. Do not operate your appliance in an appliance garage
or under a wall cabinet. When storing in an appliance
garage, always unplug the unit from the electrical
outlet. Not doing so could create a risk of re, especially if
the appliance touches the walls of the garage or the door
touches the unit as it closes.
16. This appliance should not be used by adults or children
whose lack of experience, product knowledge or disability
might cause a hazard, unless they have been correctly
instructed and are adequately supervised.
17. Children should always be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with this product.
18. Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric
burner or in a heated oven.
CAUTION: Corkscrew is sharp. Handle carefully. Keep hands and
utensils out of the corkscrew cuff while operating to prevent the
possibility of severe personal injury and/or damage to the
product or property.
