IMPORTANT: NEVER attempt any work without shutting off the electricity.

•Always turn off power at fuse box prior to installation to prevent

electrical shock.

• Intended for indoor use. Dry and damp locations.

• For installation and serviced by a qualified, licensed electrician.

•Install in accordance with national electric code, and local

regulations.

• Consult with local inspector to assure compliance.

•Do not submerge, or install within 5 feet of a swimming pool.

• Do not connect the tape directly to high voltage power

• Do not exceed maximum run recommended for each tape series

• Handle product with care.

•Do not conceal or extend exposed conductors through a building

wall

•To reduce the risk of fire and burns, do not install this lighting

system where the exposed bare conductors can be shorted or

contact any conductive materials

•To reduce the risk of overheating and potential fire risk, make sure

all connections are tight.

•Do not install any fixture assembly closer than 6 in. from any

curtain, or similar combustible material.

•Do not modify or disassemble product beyond instructions or

warranty will be void.

•Failure to follow safety warnings, and installation instruction will

void the warranty

INVISILED™2+ PROTape Lights have no polarity for connection.

•- If a 1/2”x1/2” or greater cove or channel is not builtin, a Retrofit Channel may be necessary to conceal the tape lights or provide

an extended surface for mounting or directing the light.

WIRING AND INSTALLATION:

1. Please refer to installation diagrams shown on next page.

Determine the number of separately powered runs needed. Calculate the number of power supplies.

Maxmimum run length: ’ per run with 96W power supply25

15’ per run with 60W power supply

Power consumptionwith 24VAC and with 24VDC: 4.1 Watts/ft2.5 Watts/ft

2. Measure the length of each run and round it off to the nearest 2inch interval. Determine the necessaryquantities of 1ft, and 2- --ft, 5-in

sections.

3. Count the number turns in the runs in order to determine the number of L, X, and Y connectors.

4. If making lateral turns at angles other than 90°, determine the number of joiner cables necessary tmake the lateral adjustment.o

Hard Wire

• Power supplymust be installed away from heat sources and

accessible for service

• Power supplyis UL listed. The power supplybox has a

separate line volt, and low volt wiring compartments. Trade size

knock outare provided on both compartments. Connect

building wires to likecolor transformer wires with wire nuts.

•- Building ground wire my be green or uninsulated, and attaches

to green wire from power supply box.

Portable

• 24 Volts power supplyplugs into standard 120 Volts 3 prong

grounded outlet

• Power supplymust be installed away from the heat sources

• Class II output splices do not require enclosures

6. Connect the output female connector of the transformer with the male connector of the InvisiLED® tapeor lead wires, to form straight

lines or turns around the installation surface.

7. LED sections may be cut where indicated at the end of the run only.

8. On smooth surfaces, the included adhesive is sufficient in most applications.

However if mounting surface is a porous or textured surface, then use a Mounting Clip every 6 inches to reinforce the installation.

9. Terminate each separately powered run with an end cap. Cut end caps or male end caps are the available choicesfor cut or uncut

sections respectively.
