Rivelatore By-alarm di acqua per la protezione da allagamenti, instal-
lazione a pavimento.
Il rivelatore di acqua è utilizzato per rilevare la presenza di acqua allo scopo di proteg-
gere contro l'allagamento i locali nel quale è installato (ad esempio lavanderie, locali
caldaia, uffici, laboratori, ecc.).
CARATTERISTICHE
• Alimentazione: 12 Vdc nominali, 5 – 16 Vdc SELV
• Assorbimento: 3,5 mA nominali, 5mA (Max)
• Portata contatto a relè: 16 Vdc, 50 mA (Max)
• Lunghezza del cavo: 1,5 m
• Il cavo è costituito da quattro conduttori di diverso colore:
- Rosso: Positivo alimentazione
- Nero: Negativo alimentazione
- Verde: Contatto a relè
- Giallo: Contatto a relè
• Temperatura di funzionamento: 0 °C - + 60 °C (uso interno)
• Grado di protezione: IP67
• Dimensioni: 51,7x16x12 mm
FUNZIONAMENTO
Il contatto a relè è normalmente chiuso NC.
In caso di allagamento, dopo una rilevazione continua di almeno 10 s, il contatto a
relè si apre; circa 2 s dopo che il rivelatore torna a riposo il contatto a relè si chiude.
Test di funzionamento.
1. Mediante un indumento bagnato o una moneta cortocircuitare i due sensori e
attendere 10 s per l’apertura del contatto.
2. Togliere il cortocircuito e verificare che il contatto si apra dopo 2 s.
REGOLE DI INSTALLAZIONE
• L’installazione deve essere effettuata da personale qualificato con l’osservanza
delle disposizioni regolanti l’installazione del materiale elettrico in vigore nel paese
dove i prodotti sono installati.
• Il rivelatore deve essere installato vicino al pavimento e in zone dove, in caso di
allagamento, l’acqua potrebbe accumularsi rapidamente.
• Montare il riivelatore di allagamento in maniera orizzontale rispetto al pavimento
con i due sensori rivolti verso il basso utilizzando le due viti fornite o del nastro
biadesivo.
• Fissare il cavo del rivelatore al muro.
N.B.: Si raccomanda di proteggere il cavo del rivelatore con una protezione in
plastica.
IMPORTANTE: Il rivelatore va alimentato attraverso un alimentatore omolo-
gato oppure da una sorgente di alimentazione proveniente direttamente dalla
centrale.

Regolamento REACh (UE) n. 1907/2006 – art.33. Il prodotto potrebbe contenere
tracce di piombo.

sull’ambiente e sulla salute e favorisce il reimpiego e/o riciclo dei materiali di cui è composta
l’apparecchiatura.

By-alarm water detector for protection against flooding, floor mount-
ing.
The water detector is used to detect the presence of water in order to protect the
premises where it is installed against flooding (for example laundries, boiler rooms,
offices, laboratories, etc.).
CHARACTERISTICS
• Power supply: 12 Vdc nominal, 5 – 16 Vdc SELV
• Absorption: 3.5 mA nominal, 5mA (Max)
• Relay contact rating: 16 Vdc, 50 mA (Max)
• Cable length: 1.5 m
• The cable consists of four conductors of different colours:
- Red: Power supply positive
- Black: Power supply negative
- Green: Relay contact
- Yellow: Relay contact
• Operating temperature: 0 °C - + 60 °C (indoor use)
• Protection class: IP67
• Dimensions: 51.7x16x12 mm
OPERATION
The relay contact is normally closed NC.
In case of flooding, after a continuous detection of at least 10 s, the relay contact
opens; approximately 2 s after the detector returns to rest, the relay contact closes.
Operation test.
1. Using a wet garment or a coin, short-circuit the two sensors and wait 10 s for the
contact to open.
2. Remove the short circuit and verify that the contact opens after 2 s.
INSTALLATION RULES
• Installation should be carried out by qualified personnel in compliance with the
current regulations regarding the installation of electrical equipment in the country
where the products are installed.
• The detector should be installed close to the floor in areas where, in the event of
flooding, water may rapidly accumulate.
• Mount the flooding detector horizontally to the floor with the two sensors facing
down, using the two screws provided or double-sided tape.
• Fix the detector cable to the wall.
N.B.: It is recommended to protect the detector cable with plastic protection.
IMPORTANT: The detector is to be powered by a type-approved power supply
unit or a source of power coming directly from the control panel.
