Comunicatore PSTN per centrale By-alarm protocolli SIA, CONTACT
ID, per una completa telegestione.
Il dispositivo è costituito da un circuito elettronico da installare nelle centrali By-alarm
alle quali viene collegato mediante un connettore a flat cable fornito in dotazione; in
questo modo sarĂ  possibile inviare qualsiasi comunicazione di allarme o di anomalia
attraverso la linea telefonica.
Il comunicatore è programmabile direttamente con la tastiera della centrale o attra-
verso la linea telefonica con collegamento interattivo.
I protocolli di comunicazione disponibili sono i seguenti:
1) SIA standard per comunicazioni con apparecchiature di ricezione.
2) Contact ID per comunicazioni con apparecchiature di ricezione.
CARATTERISTICHE TECNICHE

INSTALLAZIONE DELLA SCHEDA NELLA CENTRALE
La scheda del combinatore va fissata e bloccata sul fondo del contenitore della
centrale mediante gli appositi distanziatori in dotazione posti sopra alla scheda
elettronica della centrale.
Sulla torretta filettata di rame va inserito prima il distanziatore e, successivamente,
la scheda che va fissata saldamente con il dado; questo assicura una adeguata
continuitĂ  elettrica tra la massa ed il negativo della scheda stessa.
Attenzione: I trimmer PT1 e PT2 posti sulla scheda del comunicatore sono
impostati con taratura di fabbrica e non devono essere ruotati per alcun motivo.
COLLEGAMENTI ALLA CENTRALE
Il collegamento del combinatore alla centrale va effettuato come segue (si veda
anche la figura COLLEGAMENTI):
a) Togliere completamente l’alimentazione alla centrale.
b) Inserire il connettore del combinatore telefonico in quello a vaschetta predisposto
sulla scheda della centrale (CN5 per art. 01700 e CN4 per art. 01703).
c) Collegare i morsetti A e B alla linea telefonica esterna, a monte di tutti gli appa-
recchi telefonici.
d) Collegare i morsetti A1 e B1 ai telefoni interni.
e) Ripristinare l'alimentazione alla centrale collegando la tensione di rete e la batteria
di autoalimentazione.
Attenzione: Per garantire la conformitĂ  alle norme EN 50131-10 ed EN 50136-2
è necessario che la comunicazione periodica avvenga ogni 25 ore. A tal fine pro-
grammare il parametro PERIODO AUTOTEST (menĂš Controlli/Alimentazione della
tastiera 01705) con il valore 25, quindi selezionare i numeri di telefono destinatari
della notifica (menĂš Telefonico/Eventi associati/Autotest della tastiera 01705). Per
maggiori dettagli si veda il manuale di programmazione della centrale.
REGOLE DI INSTALLAZIONE
• L’installazione deve essere effettuata da personale qualificato con l’osservanza
delle disposizioni regolanti l’installazione del materiale elettrico in vigore nel paese
dove i prodotti sono installati.
• Il comunicatore va installato sulle centrali art. 01700 e 01703.

prodotto alla fine della propria vita utile deve essere raccolto separatamente dagli altri rifiuti. L’utente

guata raccolta differenziata per l’avvio successivo dell’apparecchiatura dismessa al riciclaggio, al
trattamento e allo smaltimento ambientalmente compatibile contribuisce ad evitare possibili effetti
negativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute e favorisce il reimpiego e/o riciclo dei materiali di cui è composta
l’apparecchiatura.

PSTN Communicator for By-alarm control panel, SIA, CONTACT ID
protocols, for complete telemanagement.
The device consists of an electronic circuit to be installed in By-alarm control panels
which are connected by a flat cable connector, supplied; this enables sending any
fault or alarm communication over the telephone line.
The communicator can be programmed directly with the control panel's keyboard
or over the telephone line with interactive connection.
The available communications protocols are the following:
1) SIA standard for communications with reception equipment.
2) Contact ID for communications with reception equipment.

INSTALLING THE CARD IN THE CONTROL PANEL
The dialler's card should be secured and locked on the bottom of the control panel
enclosure using the spacers, supplied, set on the control panel's printed circuit
board.
On the threaded copper turret should be inserted first the spacer and then the card
that is to be securely fastened with the nut; this ensures adequate electrical conti-
nuity between the earth and the negative of the card.
Caution: The trimmers PT1 and PT2 on the communicator's card are set with
factory settings and must not be rotated for any reason whatsoever.
CONNECTIONS TO THE CONTROL PANEL
The dialler should be connected to the control panel as follows (see also the
CONNECTIONS figure):
a) Cut off all electrical power to the control panel.
b) Plug the telephone dialler's connector into the recessed connector on the board
of the control panel (CN5 for art. 01700-01700.120 and CN4 for art. 01703-
01703.120).
c) Connect the terminals A and B to the external telephone line, upstream of all the
telephone devices.
d) Connect the terminals A1 and B1 to the internal phones.
e) Restore power to the control panel by connecting the mains voltage and the
self-powering battery.
Caution: To assure compliance with EN 50131-10 and EN 50136-2 standards, the
periodic communication must take place every 25 hours. To this end, program
the SELF-TEST PERIOD parameter (Controls/Power Supply menu of the keypad
01705) to a value of 25 and then select the phone numbers for receiving the com-
munication (Phone/Linked events/Self-test menu of the keypad 01705). For further
details, please see the control panel programming manual.
INSTALLATION RULES
• Installation should be carried out by qualified personnel in compliance with the
current regulations regarding the installation of electrical equipment in the country
where the products are installed.
• The communicator should be installed on control panels art. 01700, 01700.120,
01703, 01703.120.
