Basic operation of the VP70 4K

The VP70 4K is pre-set as an auto on and auto looping 4K video, audio and photo player. Once you con-

nect the player to a TV or monitor, simply load your video, audio and or photo les on the enclosed SD

Card (sample les have been pre-loaded for initial testing) and insert it into the player. The order in which

the les are sorted on the card is the order in which they play. Your player will start play and continue to do

Video Ratio

The VP70 4K can adjust the video ratio for

those les that do not match your screen

size. For optimum results your video/photo

content should match your screen size. For

Example: if your screen is 1920 x 1080, then

your video should be 1920 x 1080 or some-

thing proportional such as 960 x 540 (1/2

the size). For les that are not matching the

screen size, the VP70 4K can “stretch” the sides

or the top. It can also be cropped with a black

bar on top/bottom or on the sides. Available

options are shown to the right.

Trouble shooting tips

Q)There is no signal or the screen is black

1)Make sure the player is in the correct

video output mode. If the LED on the

front is blue, the player will output

HDMI. If the LED is green, then the player is set to A/V (RCA Jacks).

2)Verify where the HDMI or A/V cable is plugged into your TV/Screen. Set the “INPUT” to the match-

ing plug (HDMI 1, HDMI 1, etc)

Q) My video or photo les are not playing properly or at all

1) Make sure the SD or USB you using is formatted as FAT or FAT32 (This is the standard format when

buying a new SD/USB). If you wish to use ExFAT, it be formatted with a PC. Unfortunately MUST

Apples disc utility changed many years ago and the ExFat option does not work properly.

2)Make sure your video le is not a “Pro Res” codec. This is an uncompressed Apple le and can not be

played by any media player on the market. Use a common codec such as AVC/h.264, HEVC/h.265

3) If the video le is over 4GB, it must be either split into multiple les, re-encoded at a lower screen

size or bit rate so its under 4GB or reformat the SD/USB as ExFAT (using a PC - see above).

4) Make sure your video and photo resolutions do not exceed 4096x2160

Q) My video or photo les are only playing once and not auto looping

1)This is probably because you selected a video or photo using the remote. This takes the player out

of “Auto Play Mode” and puts it into “Manual Mode”. Make sure you ONLY have the les you wish

to play loaded on the SD/USB (no extra les or folders). Simply remove and replace the SD/USB

and the player will auto play and auto loop without any manual operation.
