These operating instructions contain important details for the handling and use of

the work stand.

Please read the safety instructions carefully and observe the correct method of

use for each function.

These instructions will make it easier for you to handle the work stand

appropriately and help prevent misuse, injury and possible damage.

Safety Notes

Please adhere to the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,

damage or physical injury:

• Keep this manual with the work stand. It contains important notes on operating

the unit.

• Do not wear loose fitting clothing, neckties, rings, bracelets, or other jewellery

that can get caught in moving parts. Non-slip footwear is recommended.

Wear protective hair covering to contain long hair.

• Use the work stand only for its intended purpose. Do not use the work stand as

scaffold, ladder, stool or similar.

• Do not stand on the work stand.

• Keep bystanders and obstacles away from the work area.

• Use the work stand on solid level ground and make sure the ground will

support the weight of the work stand and the weight of the workpiece.

• Do not exceed the maximum load capacities contained in these instructions.

• When working with a heavy or large workpiece please consider getting

assistance from another person.

• Inspect the work stand prior to use. Do not use the work stand if any parts are

damaged or bent.

• Do not drop the work stand, throw it, or otherwise misuse the work stand.

deadly toy for children.

stand.

The assembly of the product will require the use of the following tools:

10mm spanner and two 13mm spanners or an adjustable wrench.

Cross slot No.3 or an 8mm slotted screwdriver.

Assembly

Please read through the instructions to familiarise yourself with the construction

of the product prior to beginning assembly.

Leg stand assembly

Fit plastic stabiliser feet part ‘N’ to the bottom of leg stands ‘E’ (Fig 1).

Bolt the leg support bars part ‘B’ to part ‘E’ using eight M6 x 37mm bolts and nuts

and eight washers - part no I,J & K as (Fig 2) to form assembly as (Fig 3).

Rotating head assembly

Insert the adjuster bars part D’ into the rotating head assembly part ‘A’ (Fig 4)

and fix in place using four M8 x 40mm bolts and nuts and eight washers - parts

F,G & H.

Pull back the locking bar R’ and rotate the head assembly so that the trestle head

fixing brackets are facing upwards as (Fig 5). The head may be fixed in one

position when required by using a locking bolt, nut and washer - parts

0,P & Q. See page 6 for further details.

Slot the trestle head assembly C’ over the fixing brackets (Fig 6) and fix in place

using four M8 x 40mm bolts and nuts and eight washers - parts F,G & H.

Final assembly

Slide the completed head assembly into the leg stand (Fig 7). Adjust to the

required height ensuring the adjuster bar and stand locking holes are aligned,

insert the holding clips part ‘M’ into position on both bars to hold the head in

position. Lock the entire assembly in place by screwing in the locking levers part

‘L’ in to the frame (Fig 8). Both sides must be set to the same level.
