Important!

Carefully read through the following instructions before you start using this AC/DC

adaptor with your laptop.

Choosing voltage

The AC/DC adaptor has 7 different settings for output voltage (15V / 16V / 18V / 19V / 20V

/ 22V / 24V DC). Set it to the right voltage before connecting it to your laptop. Check what is sug-

gested on the rating plate and the voltage indicated next to the input socket. You can nd infor-

mation on the necessary voltage on your previous AC/DC adaptor or in the user manual for your

laptops. Remember, your laptop cannot operate on an incorrect voltage setting, and it may be

damaged. If you are unsure: never attempt to connect the AC/DC adaptor to your laptop. Con-

Positive or negative polarity

There are two polarities on direct voltage, positive and nega-

tive. The AC/DC adaptor is only intended for appliances with a

positive (+) tip polarity. The exchangeable adaptors are impos-

sible to mix up, and can only be connected in one way, for po-

sitive (+) tip polarity! Make sure that the adaptor and the cable

end are closely pressed together.
