Philosophy
Our AirHead is a passive attenuator plug for all types of microphones. Whether capturing
booming drums or roaring guitar amps, AirHead’s -15dB attenuation prevents clipping, ensuring
pristine recordings. Plus, by attenuating your signal, you can crank your favorite preamp. Your
preamp is now operating in a higher gain range, so the sonic character of your preamp is more
emphasized.
Operation
Your will latch straight onto any XLR equipped microphone, or anywhere else in the AirHead
signal path between microphone and preamp/mixer.
With AirHead, phantom power can still reach your microphone, and its balanced XLR input and
output guarantees seamless integration into your setup.
