TheLM339-MILdeviceconsistsoffourindependent

precisionvoltagecomparatorswithanoffsetvoltage

specificationaslowas2mVmaximumforallfour

comparators.Thesecomparatorsweredesigned

specificallytooperatefromasinglepowersupply

overawiderangeofvoltages.Operationfromsplit

powersuppliesisalsopossibleandthelow-power

supplycurrentdrainisindependentofthemagnitude

ofthepowersupplyvoltage.Thesecomparatorsalso

haveauniquecharacteristicinthattheinput

common-modevoltagerangeincludesground,even

thoughtheyareoperatedfromasinglepowersupply

voltage.

TheLM339-MILdevicewasdesignedtodirectly

interfacewithTTLandCMOS.Whenoperatedfrom

bothplusandminuspowersupplies,thedevice

directlyinterfaceswithMOSlogicwherethelow-

powerdrainoftheLM339-MILisadistinctadvantage

overstandardcomparators.
