You have just purchased a fan heater, ideal for quickly heating the different rooms in your house.
This highly compact appliance can be easily stored or moved around from one room to another for your comfort.

It is essential that you read these instructions carefully and comply with the following
recommendations.
jThis appliance complies with European directives 73/23/EEC and 89/336/EEC.
jBefore using, always check the condition of the appliance, the power socket and the
power lead.
jDo not pull on the power cable or the appliance, even to unplug it from the wall soc-
ket.
jFully unwind the lead each time before use.
jDo not place the appliance just below a power socket.
jNever insert objects into the appliance (e.g. needles...).
jWhen in use, this appliance must be kept out of the reach of young children, ani-
mals and certain handicapped people.
jDo not use your appliance in a dusty room or a room where there is a risk of fire.
jThis appliance is intended for domestic use only. It must therefore not be used in
industrial applications.
jThe warranty will be void in the event of damage arising from improper use.
jIf the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-
sales service or a person with similar qualifications to avoid any danger.

3 - OPERATION
Starting up the appliance and choosing the operating mode:
jPower selection :
position : this position delivers power of 1200 W.
position : this position constantly delivers power of 2400 W.
jHeating light : Power LED :
This LED (D) comes on as soon as your appliance is powered up.
jThermostat : mod. 6366
Adjust the temperature setting, according to your own comfort, by turning
button (A) (fig. 1) :
jFrost-free setting : : mod. 6366
This setting enables you to automatically maintain the temperature above 0°C in a
normally insulated room, whose volume corresponds to the power of your appliance.
To do this, plug in your appliance and turn button (A) so that the marker is
opposite the “ “ .
jCold ventilation setting :
This setting enables you to use your fan heater as a fan in summer.

1 - VOLTAGE
jBefore using the appliance for the first time, ensure that your mains voltage cor-
responds to the voltage indicated on the appliance.
jYour appliance can be used with a power plug without an earth connection. It is a
class II appliance (dual electrical insulation ).
2 - SAFETY
Heat safety
jIn the event of abnormal overheating, a safety device shuts down the appliance
and then automatically restarts it once ithas cooled. If the fault persists or gets
worse, a thermal fuse shuts the appliance down definitively and it must then be
taken to an approved service centre.
4 - CLEANING
jYour appliance must be unplugged before proceeding with any cleaning work.
jYou can clean it with a slightly damp cloth.
jIMPORTANT: Never use abrasive products which might damage the appearance
of your appliance.
jWe recommend that you clean the air inlet and outlet grills at least once a
year; (clean with a vacuum cleaner if necessary).
5 - STORAGE
jWhen storing your appliance, you can wind the cord around the stand and
clip the end into the cord clip (H).
jIt is important to allow the appliance to cool before winding the lead.
jWhen you are not using your appliance, store it in a dry place.
6 - IN THE EVENT OF PROBLEMS
jNever dismantle your appliance yourself. A poorly repaired appliance may be
dangerous for the user.
jBefore contacting one of our Approved Service Centres (see enclosed list),
ensure that:
– the appliance is set to normal operating mode;
– the air inlet and outlet grills are totally clear.

AANDACHTIG LEZEN VÓÓR GEBRUIK EN BEWAREN
U heeft zojuist een ventilatorkachel gekocht die ideaal is voor het snel verwarmen van de verschillende vertrekken in uw huis. Dankzij de
compacte vormgeving kunt u de kachel, voor een optimaal comfort, gemakkelijk opbergen en van het ene naar het andere vertrek verplaatsen.

WAARSCHUWINGEN
Het is erg belangrijk deze gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig te lezen en de
volgende aanbevelingen in acht te nemen :
jDit apparaat is geproduceerd conform de Europese veiligheidsrichtlijnen
73/23/CEE en 89/336/CEE.
jControleer voor ieder gebruik de goede staat van het apparaat, van de
stekker en van het snoer.
jHet apparaat niet verplaatsen door aan het snoer te trekken. Niet aan het
snoer trekken om de stekker uit het stopcontact te halen.
jHet snoer vóór gebruik volledig afrollen.
jHet apparaat ook niet vlak onder een stopcontact plaatsen.
jGeen voorwerpen (bijv. spelden, naalden) in het apparaat steken.
jBij gebruik dient het apparaat buiten het bereik van jonge kinderen en
dieren te worden gehouden.
jGebruik uw apparaat niet in een stoffig of brandgevaarlijk vertrek.
jDit apparaat is uitsluitend bestemd voor huishoudelijk gebruik. Het is dus
niet geschikt voor industriële doeleinden.
jVoor eventuele gebreken die het gevolg zijn van verkeerd gebruik vervalt
de garantie.

Is het snoer beschadigd, dan dient het door de fabrikant, een servicedienst
of ander erkend reparateur te worden vervangen om elk gevaar te voorko-
men.
UITERST BELANGRIJK :
jHET APPARAAT NOOIT BEDEKKEN, zelfs niet tijdelijk, want dit kan over-
verhitting veroorzaken.
jHet apparaat op 50 cm van elk voorwerp houden (gordijnen, muren,
spuitbussen
).
jHET APPARAAT NOOIT GEKANTELD OF LIGGEND (op de zijkant)
GEBRUIKEN.
jDit apparaat mag niet in een nat vertrek worden gebruikt.
jDit apparaat niet gebruiken in de nabijheid van een badkuip, douche,
wastafel, zwembad.
jGEEN WATER IN HET APPARAAT LATEN LOPEN.
jHet apparaat niet met natte handen aanraken.
jBij langdurige afwezigheid : zet de schakelaar (A) op de beginstand ●.
3 - WERKING
Het aanzetten en de functiekeuze :
jKeuze van vermogen :
Stand : deze stand levert een vermogen van 1200 W.
Stand : deze stand levert een vermogen van 2400 W.

Zodra uw apparaat op de netstroom is aangesloten, levert het een vermo-
gen van 2000 W.
jControlelampje inschakelen :
Dit controlampje (D) brandt zodra uw apparaat is ingeschakeld.
jThermostaat : mod. 6366
U kunt de temperatuur m.b.v. de schakelaar (A) naar eigen behoefte instellen
(fig.1) :
jVorstvrijstand : : mod. 6366
Dankzij deze stand wordt de temperatuur automatisch boven 0°C gehouden
in normaal geĂŻsoleerde vertrekken waarvan de grootte overeenkomt met het
vermogen van uw apparaat.
Hiervoor uw apparaat aansluiten en de knop (A) draaien om het merkteken
tegenover het symbool te plaatsen .
jStand zomerventilatie :
Hierdoor kunt u uw ventilatorkachel’s zomers als ventilator gebruiken.

1 - NETSPANNING
jWanneer u het apparaat voor het eerst gebruikt, controleer dan eerst of de
netspanning overeenkomt met de aan de onderkant van uw apparaat ver-
melde spanning.
jUw apparaat kan met een ongeaard stopcontact worden gebruikt. Het is
een apparaat uit de klasse II (dubbel geĂŻsoleerd ).
2 - VEILIGHEID
Oververhittingsbeveiliging
jIngeval van een abnormaal warm worden, zet een veiligheidsin-
richting het functioneren van het apparaat uit en zet het vervolgens
automatisch weer in werking na eerst te zijn afgekoeld. Indien het
defect aanhoudt of erger wordt, stopt een thermische zekering het apparaat
defintief ; dit moet dan bij een erkend servicecentrum worden ingeleverd.
4 - ONDERHOUD
jAlvorens onderhoudsbeurten te verrichten, dient u de stekker van uw appa-
raat uit het stopcontact te halen.
jU kunt hem met een licht bevochtigde doek afnemen.
jBELANGRIJK: Nooit schuurproducten gebruiken die het uiterlijk van uw
apparaat zouden kunnen beschadigen.
jWij raden u aan de luchtroosters minstens eenmaal per jaar te reinigen
(indien nodig met een stofzuiger).
5 - OPBERGEN
jOm het apparaat op te bergen, kunt u het snoer om de pootjes van de
kachel wikkelen en het uiteinde vastmaken met behulp van de snoerclip H.
jHet is absoluut noodzakelijk het apparaat eerst voldoende af te laten koelen
alvorens het snoer om de kachel te wikkelen.
jIndien u het apparaat niet gebruikt, dient dit in een vochtvrij vertrek te wor-
den geplaatst.
6 - PROBLEMEN
jDemonteer het apparaat nooit zelf. Een slecht gerepareerde kachel kan gevaar
voor de gebruiker opleveren. Schakel hiervoor dan ook altijd een erkend repa-
rateur in of neem rechtstreeks contact op met de consumentenservice van Tefal
Nederland of Tefal Belgium (zie hiervoor de bijgevoegde lijst).
jControleer echter eerst of:
– het apparaat op een normale functiestand staat ;
– de luchtroosters niet zijn afgedekt.
