Opening

Support the ironing board in the vertical

position and lift the release lever. Allow the

top leg to drop to the floor while lowering the

board until horizontal.

Adjusting the height

To increase the height of the board, lift the

release lever slightly and pull the board

upward to the desired height setting. To lower

the height, lift the release lever slightly and

gently push downwards on the board until the

desired height setting is reached.

Closing

Ensure that the iron rest is stowed under the

board before closing. To close, raise the rear

of the board (nearest the iron rest) while

lifting the release lever, allowing the rear legs

to rise and the to board swing into the

vertical position.

Using the retractable iron rest

To use the iron rest, slide it out from

underneath the board so that the rest is fully

extended. When you have finished ironing,

push the iron rest firmly back into position

underneath the board before storing.

Fitting the cover

Pull tightly on the drawstring to tighten the

cover. Press the toggle and slide it towards

the board to tighten. Release to lock in

position.

Caring for the cover

The cotton cover has been treated with

Teflon

®

Fabric Protector from DuPont. Water

rolls off and stains just wipe away. Teflon

®

provides maximum water and stain

repellency, but still allows the fabric to

breathe. A heat treatment (warm ironing or

tumble drying) will optimize the performance

of Teflon

®

. Warm machine wash on a gentle

cycle. Line or tumble dry. Do not dry clean.

To keep the cover’s shape, fit to the board

while still damp and iron dry.
