How to attach the BG24 Stainless Steel Backguard
to the PRO24G Gas Range
The backguard is shown below, facing forward:
1. To attach the backguard to the range, you will have to stand behind the range. As
you look down you will see two black, rectangular projections on the rear edge of the
range, one at either side. These are the bolts that will hold the backguard to the top
of the range.
2. Remove each bolt by reaching under and unscrewing the nut that holds the bolt in
place.
3. Put the bolts into the slots on the bottom of the backguard and place the backguard
over the range bolts are over the two bolt holes. Reach through the so that the
circular cut-outs on the rear of the backguard to manipulate the bolts into the bolt
holes.
4. Loosely attach the bolts with the nut you removed in step 2 Do not tighten until you s .
are satisfied that the backguard is positioned correctly on the range.
