Power Failure Alarm Cord, Model PF1
INSTRUCTIONS
SAVE THIS MANUAL FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
This ACCUCOLD power-failure line
cord has a built in power failure -
sensor with a loud audible n 80dB
alarm. It is intended for monitoring
essential 120 volt AC powered
cord-
connected appliances for
power failure events
, accidental
cord disconnection
and circuit
breaker failure. The loud signal
sounds for up to 90 minutes,
advising the user
to reconnect
power to the device.
Key C omponents of the Power Failure Alarm Cord
 15 Amp hospital grade - grounded three wire plug
 Alarm housing with rechargeable battery
 AC Power ON LED indicator
 Grounded three- wire 15 Amp connector
 Built-in switch that will silence the alarm when operated in the “alarm off” position
INSTALLATION
i. Attach the female connector to the plug of the appliance to be monitored.
ii. Plug the cord into any live 120 volt AC outlet.
Note: If the appliance plug is disconnected from the cord, the alarm will not sound. It will sound
only if power fails to reach the cord.

TESTING AND OPERATION
After the cord has been plugged into an AC outlet for 24 hours to obtain a full charge, simply disconnect
the cord from the AC outlet. The alarm should sound. Make certain that the switch is in the “alarm on”
position.

INSTALLATION
i. Attacher le connecteur femelle Ă  la prise de l'appareil Ă  ĂȘtre surveillĂ©.
ii. active Branchez le cordon dans une prise de 120 volts CA.
Remarque: Si la fiche de l'appareil est déconnectée du cordon, l'alarme ne retentit pas. Elle
n’est audible que si le courant ne parvient pas à atteindre le cordon.
