This helmet is designed and manufactured in accordance with the following directives and
standards: 89/686 / EEC EN 1080: 2013
The product is identical to the personal protective equipment that has been subject to type
inspection by an approved inspection body NB 0197, TOV Rheinland LGA Products GmbH
Tillystralse 2 90431 Nurnberg Germany.
WARNING! The helmet does not protect in all situations. Make sure the helmet is placed î ´rm-
ly on the head each time it is used. Sharp objects can damage the outer shell. A helmet that
has been subjected to a severe shock or is damaged at high temperature should always be
replaced. Stickers and colour will negatively aect the helmet’s protective eect. Do not use
chemicals or solvents to clean the helmet, only a mild soap solution and water. This helmet is
equipped with a self-releasing green buckle, designed to open under certain loads, to reduce
the risk of throttling / hanging. The helmet can fall o from heavy loads / blows.
WARNING! The helmet for younger children is to be used in cycling and other activities where
there is a risk of head injuries, as well as a foreseeable risk of strangulation / hanging. Alt-
hough the helmet’s green buckle is designed to release in the event of a possible strangula-
tion / hanging, we recommend that the helmet is removed for any play that include climbing.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Helmet for young children with green buckle
1. This helmet is equipped with an adjustment knob. You can set the size with one hand.
Adjust the steering wheel so that it does not come loose when it is placed on your head.
2. Place the helmet with the opened adjustment knob horizontally on the head. The front
helmet edge should be about 2 cm above the root of the nose. Tighten the adjustment knob
until it completely encloses the head. Tie the buckle under your chin. The straps should sit
tight but not too tight. It should be easy to open your mouth even when the buckle is clam-
ped. The strap on the cheek strap should be about 1 cm below the ears, the straps should be
close to the cheeks. If one of the straps is too long or short, you can adjust this by moving the
buckle up or down on the strap. If the helmet does not î ´t the head size, choose a dierent
helmet size, or another helmet.
3. This helmet is specially designed for young children. It is equipped with a green buckle
that releases at a load of about 9-16 kg. This reduces the risk of serious accidents in e.g. clim-
bing frames and trees. The helmet is intended to be used in situations where the head needs
protection, such as for cycling and playing. Although the helmet’s green buckle is designed to
release in the event of a strangulation / suspension event, we recommend that the helmet
should be removed during games that include climbing. No helmet in the world can protect
against all foreseeable injuries and you cannot completely trust that the buckle will release in
all accidents. Always supervise your child when cycling or playing.
