SPUTPVD Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) Surge Protector for Video/Data

Thank you for your choice of Speco Technologies’ surge protector. This unit is designed to provide a sturdy option for SPUTPVD

protection from high voltage surges, such as those that may be caused by lightning strikes. Because of the physical length of

ground wires, unprotected UL grounding systems may appear as an open circuit to lightning-caused high frequency surges and

would normally provide little or no protection from these surges getting into a home or business and destroying CATV

converters, TV sets, DVRs, Cameras, etc. This unit can complement UL grounding requirements for coaxial cable and offers

protection from hazardous voltages that may occur on the shielding.
