Precautions
•Be careful not to operate the speaker system with the power exceeding its handling capacity.
•Keep recorded tapes, watches, and personal credit cards using magnetic coding away from
the speaker system to protect them from damage caused by the magnets in the speakers.
If you cannot find an appropriate mounting location, consult your car dealer or your nearest Sony
dealer before mounting.
Caution
When using the speakers with a power amplifier or power booster employing the BTL
(balanced transformerless) system, be sure to connect the cords of the speaker system directly
to the amplifier s speaker cords. If the connection is made through already existing speaker’
leads which have a common lead for both the right and left channels, it is possible that no#
sound will be heard and that the amplifier will be damaged.

Precauciones
Si utiliza los altavoces con un amplificador de potencia o un elevador de potencia que utilice el
sistema BTL (balanced transformerless), aseg rese de conectar los cables del altavozú

Mounting
Before mounting
•Make sure that nothing is obstructing around the mounting
location of the door (front or rear) where you are to mount
the speaker.
•If you are to mount this speaker system in the door (front or
rear), make sure that the speaker terminals, frame or
magnet do not interfere with any inner parts of the car, such
as the window mechanism in the door (when you open or
close the window), etc.
Also make sure that the speaker grille does not touch any
inner fittings, such as the window cranks, door handles,
arm rests, door pockets, lamps or seats etc.
Montaje

• ú ú áAseg rese de que no haya ning n obst culo en el lugar de
montaje de la puerta (frontal o posterior) donde desea
montar el altavoz.
•Si desea montar este sistema de altavoces en la puerta
(frontal o posterior), aseg rese de que los terminales delú
altavoz, el bastidor o el im n no interfieren con losá
componentes interiores del coche como, por ejemplo, el
mecanismo de la ventanilla de la puerta (al abrir o cerrar la
ventanilla), etc.
Aseg rese tambi n de que la rejilla del altavoz no est enú é á
contacto con accesorios interiores como, por ejemplo, los
picaportes de las ventanillas y puertas, los reposabrazos, los
compartimentos para guardar objetos situados en las
puertas, las luces o los asientos etc.
