HPLā¢ technology in Flash&Goā¢ - Superior safety with lower energy level
Home Pulsed Lightā¢ technology is able to achieve long-term hair removal results at a fraction of the
energy level used in other light-based hair removal equipment. The low energy used in Flash&Goā¢
reduces its potential to cause harm or complications, and contributes to your overall safety.
Flash&Goā¢ protects your eyes. The Flash&Goā¢ Hair Removal Device is intended for use below the
cheekbones but not around the eyes. HPL light can be harmful to the eyes even when not pointed directly at
them. To protect your eyes from such harm the Flash&Goā¢ Hair Removal Device has a built-in safety feature
for eye protection. It has been designed so that a light pulse cannot be emitted when the treatment surface
is facing open air. The Pulse Trigger is enabled only when the treatment surface is in full contact with the skin.
Flash&Goā¢ protects your skin. Flash&Goā¢ comes with a Skin Color Sensor enabling use only on lighter
skin complexions to ensure skin safety. Furthermore, the 0.9X3cmĀ² Optical Lens through which pulses of
light are delivered is recessed inside the deviceās treatment surface. This enables Flash&Goā¢ to protect your
skin by avoiding direct contact between the optical lens and the skin.

DO NOT USE Flash&Goā¢ on a naturally dark skin complexion!
Silkān Flash&Goā¢ is intended for removal of unwanted hair. Silkān Flash&Goā¢ is also intended to eīect long
term, or permanent hair reduction. The Flash&Goā¢ device is also intended for permanent reduction in hair
regrowth, deļ¬ned as the long-term, stable reduction in the number of hairs regrowing when measured at 6, 9,
and 12 months after the completion of a treatment regime.

Before using Flash&Goā¢ for the ļ¬rst time, please read this User Manual in its entirety. Pay particular
attention to procedures for using and operating the device and after-use procedures.

Flash&Goā¢ is a powerful electrical device. As such, it should be used with special

A unique Skin Color Sensor is embedded in Flash&Goā¢ to measure the treated skin complexion at the
beginning of each session and occasionally during the session. This Skin Color Sensor ensures that a pulse
will be emitted only on suitable skin tones.
Flash&Goā¢ removes unwanted hair by selectively addressing hair pigment. Varied quantities of pigment
also exist in the surrounding tissue of skin. The quantity of pigment in a particular personās skin, which is
manifested by their skin complexion, determines the degree of risk they are exposed to using Flash&Goā¢.
Treating dark skin with Flash&Goā¢ can result in adverse eīects such as burns, blisters, and skin color
changes (hyper- or hypo-pigmentation)
Tanned skin, particularly following sun exposure, contains large quantities of the pigment Melanin. This
applies to all skin types and complexions, including those which donāt seem to tan quickly. The presence of
large quantities of Melanin exposes the skin to higher risk when using Flash&Goā¢.
Using Flash&Goā¢ on skin that has been recently exposed to sunlight can result in adverse eīects such as
burns, blisters, and skin color changes (hyper- or hypo-pigmentation).
DO NOT USE Flash&Goā¢ on naturally dark skin!
DO NOT USE Flash&Goā¢ on tanned skin or after recent sun exposure! Such
use can cause burns or skin injury.
Avoid exposure to the sun for 4 weeks before your Flash&Goā¢ treatment!
DO NOT USE Flash&Goā¢ on tanned skin or after recent sun exposure!
Never use Silkān Flash&Goā¢ around or near the eyes ā Flash&Goā¢ can be used
only from the cheekbones down.
Do not use the Flash&Goā¢ Device anywhere on the ears, nipples, or genitals, or
around the anus. These areas may have more sensitive skin, a darker skin
tone, and/or a greater hair density, and using the Flash&Goā¢ device there may
cause serious skin injury.
It is not recommended to use the Flash&Goā¢ device on manās face, jaw, or neck.
The hair in a manās beard area is too dense for this purpose.

The Flash&Goā¢ device may not be as eīective on naturally white, grey, blond and red body hair.
Hair removal by lasers or intense pulse light sources can cause increased hair growth in some individuals.
Based upon currently available data, the highest risk groups for this response are females of Mediterranean,
Middle Eastern and South Asian heritage treated on the face and neck.
Although, Silkān Flash&Goā¢ can be used for the treatment of facial hair, extra caution should
be used on the face to avoid the eyes.
