Introduction

The Ultra Compact Wireless IR Remote Control Extender Kit – 200M extends IR remote control

signals wirelessly up to 200m (656ft). It allows you to move freely throughout your house and still

be in control of your A/V or IR enabled equipment.

Application

Supports IR signal frequency range from 20 to 60 KHz, compatible with most of IR-equipped devices

such as:

• DVD players

• Cable boxes

• Satellite receivers

• Audio/Hi-Fi stereo systems

• Other IR remote controlled devices

Setup Instructions

1. Place the receiver unit, with red rubber ring, near the device you want to control remotely. Refer

to section for more details.Application Diagram

2. Connect the receiver’s (5VDC) to one of the included power adapters, and plug thepower jack

power adapter into an available power outlet.

3. Insert the included dual IR Emitter Extension Cable into the receiver’s Infrared 3.5mm socket.

Face the eye towards your source device's IR window.

4. Place the transmitter unit, with gray rubber ring, in the remote location where you want to use

the source device’s remote control. Make sure there is an available power outlet close by.

5. Connect the transmitter to the power outlet using the included power adapter.

6. Insert the included IR Receiver Extension Cable into the transmitter’s Infrared 3.5mm socket.*

7. The Wireless IR Remote Control Extender is ready for use.

* Note:

The image below shows the built-in IR receiver sensor zone. The source device’s IR remote control

can be pointed to this IR sensor to control it. Do not connect the IR Receiver Extension Cable if you

plan to use the built-in IR receiver sensor.
