Model R57 & R59 Instructions

IMPORTANT: Twist the cartridge three times counterclockwise before screwing

the cartridge onto the case. This prevents strain on the wires.

Remove and attach the new cartridge using a soldering iron as shown.

The GREEN wire attaches to the terminal next to the embossed plus (+) sign

(or single-digit number).

NOTE: On older models, there may be a third,

black wire. Connect this wire to the case ground

nut between the green and yellow terminals on

the cartridge.
