SHELLYBLU MOTION

Read before use

This document contains important technical

and safety information about the device, its

safe use and installation.

⚠CAUTION! Before beginning the installa-

tion, please read carefully and entirely this

guide and any other documents accompa-

nying the device. Failure to follow the instal-

lation procedures could lead to malfunction,

danger to your health and life, violation of

law or refusal of legal and/or commercial

guarantee (if any). Shelly Europe Ltd is not

responsible for any loss or damage in case of

incorrect installation or improper operation of

this device due to failure of following the user

and safety instructions in this guide.

Shelly® devices are delivered with factory-in-

stalled rmware. If rmware updates are

necessary to keep the devices in conformi-

ty, including security updates, Shelly Europe

Ltd will provide the updates free of charge

through the device Embedded Web Interface

or the Shelly mobile application, where the in-

formation about the current rmware version

is available. The choice to install or not the

device rmware updates is the user’s sole

responsibility. Shelly Europe Ltd shall not be

liable for any lack of conformity of the device

caused by failure of the user to install the

provided updates in a timely manner.

Product Introduction

ShellyBLU Motion (the Device) is a smart

Bluetooth motion detection sensor featuring

a lux meter. (g.1)

Installation Instructions

⚠CAUTION! The Device is intended for in-

door use only!

⚠CAUTION! Keep the Device away from

liquids and moisture. The Device shouldn't be

used in places with high humidity.

⚠CAUTION! Do not use it if the Device has

been damaged!

⚠CAUTION! Do not attempt to service or

repair the Device yourself!

⚠CAUTION! The Device may be connected

wirelessly and may control electric circuits

and appliances. Proceed with caution! Ir-

responsible use of the Device may lead to

malfunction, danger to your life or violation

of the law.

First steps

ShellyBLU Motion comes ready to use with

the battery installed.

However, you might need to insert a battery if

you do not see the LED indicator behind the

motion sensor lens ashing red when you

move in front of it.

See the Replacing the battery section.

Using ShellyBLU Motion

If motion is detected the LED indicator will

ash red briey and the Device will broadcast

information about the event, the illumination,

and the battery status at the time of the mo-

tion detection. The Device will not broadcast

for a minute (user congurable), although

motion detection will cause the LED indica-

tor to ash red.

⚠NOTICE! The LED indication can be dis-

abled in the Device settings.

If no motion is detected within the next

minute, it will broadcast information about

the lack of motion, the illumination, and the

battery status at the time of broadcasting.

If the Device is with beacon mode enabled, it

will broadcast information about the current

motion detection, the illumination, and the

battery status every 30 seconds.

To pair ShellyBLU Motion with another Blue-

tooth device press and hold the control but-

ton for 10 sec.

You have to open the Device to access the

control button.

The Device will await connection for the next

minute. The available Bluetooth characteris-

tics are described in the ocial Shelly API

documentation at

Active pairing mode is indicated by brief blue

ashes.

To restore the device conguration to factory

settings, press and hold the control button

for 30 seconds shortly after inserting the

battery.

If you want to check the motion detection

range or the communication with the Device,

double-press the control button to set the

Shelly® Geräte werden mit werkseitig instal-

lierter Firmware ausgeliefert. Um die Geräte

die im Gerät eingebettete Web-Schnittstelle

ShellyBLU Motion (das Gerät) ist ein intel-

ligenter Bluetooth-Bewegungserkennungs-

Installationsanleitung

⚠VORSICHT! Das Gerät ist nur für die Ver-

wendung im Innenbereich bestimmt!

⚠VORSICHT! Halten Sie das Gerät von Flüs-

sigkeit und Feuchtigkeit fern. Das Gerät sollte

nicht in Umgebung mit hoher Feuchtigkeit ver-

wendet werden.

⚠VORSICHT! Verwenden Sie das Gerät

nicht, wenn es beschädigt ist!

⚠VORSICHT! Versuchen Sie nicht, das Gerät

selbst zu warten oder reparieren!

⚠VORSICHT! Das Gerät kann drahtlos ver-

bunden werden und dabei elektrische Schalt-

kreise und Geräte steuern. Mit Vorsicht fort-

fahren! Unverantwortlicher Umgang mit dem

Gerät kann zu Fehlfunktionen, Lebensgefahr

oder Gesetzverstoß führen

Erste Schritte

ShellyBLU Motion wird mit eingelegter Batte-

rie betriebsbereit geliefert.

Möglicherweise müssen Sie jedoch eine Bat-

terie einlegen, wenn die LED-Anzeige hinter

der Linse des Bewegungssensors nicht rot

blinkt, wenn Sie sich davor bewegen.

Siehe den Abschnitt Batterie ersetzen.

ShellyBLU Motion verwenden

Wenn eine Bewegung erkannt wird, blinkt die

LED-Anzeige kurz rot und das Gerät sendet

Informationen über das Ereignis, die Beleuch-

tung und den Batteriestatus zum Zeitpunkt

der Bewegungserkennung. Das Gerät sendet

eine Minute lang nicht (vom Benutzer kon-

gurierbar), obwohl die Bewegungserkennung

dazu führt, dass die LED-Anzeige rot blinkt.

⚠HINWEIS! Die LED-Anzeige kann in den Ge-

räteeinstellungen deaktiviert werden.

Wenn innerhalb der nächsten Minute keine

Bewegung erkannt wird, werden Informa-

tionen über die fehlende Bewegung, die Be-

leuchtung und den Batteriestatus zum Zeit-

punkt der Übertragung gesendet.

Wenn auf dem Gerät der Beacon-Modus akti-

viert ist, sendet es alle 30 Sekunden Informati-

onen über die aktuelle Bewegungserkennung,

die Beleuchtung und den Batteriestatus.

Um den ShellyBLU Motion mit einem anderen

Bluetooth-Gerät zu koppeln, halten Sie die

Steuerungstaste für 10 Sekunden gedrückt.

Sie müssen das Gerät öffnen, um die Steuer-

taste erreichen zu können.

Das Gerät wartet eine Minute lang auf die

Verbindung. Die verfügbaren Bluetooth-Ei-

connesso in modalità wireless e può con-

trollare circuiti elettrici ed elettrodomestici.

con, trasmetterà informazioni sul rilevamen-

to del movimento, sull'illuminazione e sullo

stato della batteria ogni 30 secondi.

Per accoppiare ShellyBLU Motion con un

altro dispositivo Bluetooth, tieni premuto il

pulsante del dispositivo per 10 secondi.

Per accedere al pulsante di controllo è neces-

sario aprire il dispositivo.

Initial Inclusion

⚠NOTICE! If you choose to use the Device

with the Shelly Smart Control mobile applica-

tion, you must have at least one permanently

powered Shelly Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (Gen2 or

following) device, which during installation

should be referred to as a Bluetooth gateway.

You can nd instructions on how to connect

the Device to the Cloud and control it through

the Shelly Smart Control app in the mobile

application guide.

The Shelly mobile application and Shelly

Cloud service are not conditions for the De-

vice to function properly. This Device can be

used standalone or with various other home

automation platforms which support BTH-

ome protocol.

Replacing the battery

⚠CAUTION! Use only 3 V CR2477 or a com-

patible battery! Pay attention to the battery

polarity!

1. Insert a 3 to 5 mm wide at blade screw-

driver in the slot, as shown in Fig. 2.

2. Carefully turn the screwdriver to pop open

the back cover of the Device.

3. Extract the exhausted battery by pushing it

out of its holder.

4. Slide in a new battery.

5. Replace the back cover by pressing it

against the main body of the Device until

you hear a clicking sound.

⚠CAUTION! Make sure the small cutout

on the back cover is on the same side as the

matching cutout on the main body as shown

in Fig. 2!

Austausch der Batterie

⚠VORSICHT! Verwenden Sie nur 3V CR2477

oder eine kompatible Batterie! Achten Sie auf

die Polarität der Batterie!

1. Führen Sie einen 3 bis 5 mm breiten

Schlitzschraubendreher in den Schlitz ein,

wie in Abb. 2 gezeigt.

2. Drehen Sie den Schraubendreher vorsich-

tig, um die hintere Abdeckung des Geräts

zu öffnen.

3. Nehmen Sie die leere Batterie heraus, in-

dem Sie sie aus der Halterung schieben.

4. Setzen Sie eine neue Batterie ein.

5. Bringen Sie die hintere Abdeckung wieder

an, indem Sie sie gegen das Hauptgehäu-

se des Geräts drücken, bis Sie ein Klickge-

räusch hören.

⚠VORSICHT! Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich

der kleine Ausschnitt auf der Rückseite auf

derselben Seite bendet wie der passende

Ausschnitt am Hauptgehäuse, wie in Abb. 2

gezeigt!

Se si desidera vericare il campo di rileva-

mento del movimento o la comunicazione

con il dispositivo, premere due volte il pul-

sante di controllo per impostare il dispositivo

Inclusione iniziale

⚠AVVISO! Se si sceglie di utilizzare il Dis-

meno un dispositivo Shelly Wi-Fi e Bluetooth

Sostituzione della batteria

⚠ATTENZIONE! Utilizzare solo batterie

CR2477 da 3 V o compatibili! Prestare atten-

zione alla polarità della batteria!

1. Inserire un cacciavite a lama piatta da 3

a 5 mm di larghezza nella fessura, come

illustrato nella Fig. 2.

2. Ruotare con cautela il cacciavite per aprire

il coperchio posteriore del dispositivo.

3. Estrarre la batteria esaurita spingendola

fuori dal suo supporto.

4. Inserire una nuova batteria.

5. Riposizionare il coperchio posteriore pre-

mendolo contro il corpo principale del di-

spositivo nché non si sente un clic.

⚠ATTENZIONE! Assicurarsi che la piccola

fessura sul coperchio posteriore sia sullo

stesso lato della fessura corrispondente sul

corpo principale, come mostrato nella Fig. 2!

tarse de forma inalámbrica y puede contro-

lar circuitos eléctricos y electrodomésticos.

sable del Dispositivo puede causar un mal

Primeros pasos

ShellyBLU Motion vem pronto a ser utilizado

com a pilha instalada.

Sin embargo, es posible que tenga que inser-

tar una batería si no ve que el indicador LED

situado detrás de la lente del sensor de mo-

vimiento parpadea en rojo cuando se mueve

delante de él.

Utilización de ShellyBLU Motion

Si se detecta movimiento, el indicador LED

parpadeará brevemente en rojo y el disposi-

tivo transmitirá información sobre el evento,

la iluminación y el estado de la batería en el

momento de la detección de movimiento.

El Dispositivo no emitirá durante un minuto

(congurable por el usuario), aunque la de-

tección de movimiento hará que el indicador

LED parpadee en rojo.

⚠¡AVISO! La indicación LED puede desacti-

varse en los ajustes del aparato.

Si no se detecta movimiento en el minuto si-

guiente, emitirá información sobre la falta de

movimiento, la iluminación y el estado de la

batería en el momento de la emisión.

Si el Dispositivo está con el modo baliza acti-

vado, emitirá información sobre la detección

de movimiento actual, la iluminación y el es-

tado de la batería cada 30 segundos.

Para emparejar el ShellyBLU Motion con otro

dispositivo Bluetooth, mantenga presionado

el botón del Dispositivo durante 10 segundos.

Es necesario abrir el Dispositivo para acce-

der al botón de control.

Instruções de Instalação

⚠CUIDADO! O dispositivo destina-se ape-

nas para uso interno!

⚠ATENÇÃO! Perigo de eletrocussão. Man-

tenha o dispositivo longe de líquidos e humi-

dade. O dispositivo não deve ser utilizado em

áreas com demasiada humidade.

⚠ATENÇÃO! Não utilize o Dispositivo se

⚠ATENÇÃO! Não tente você mesmo fazer

manutenção ou reparar o Dispositivo!

⚠ATENÇÃO! O Dispositivo pode ser co-

nectado sem os e pode controlar circuitos

Primeiros passos

ShellyBLU Motion viene listo para usar con la

pila instalada.

No entanto, poderá ser necessário colocar

Usando a ShellyBLU Motion

Se for detectado movimento, o indicador LED

piscará brevemente a vermelho e o Dispositi-

não transmitirá durante um minuto (congu-

rável pelo utilizador), embora a deteção de

movimento faça com que o indicador LED

pisque a vermelho.

⚠¡AVISO! A indicação LED pode ser desacti-

vada nas denições do Dispositivo.

Se não for detectado qualquer movimento no

minuto seguinte, o dispositivo transmite in-

formações sobre a ausência de movimento,

a iluminação e o estado da bateria no mo-

mento da transmissão.

Se o dispositivo estiver com o modo de sinali-

zação ativado, transmitirá informações sobre

a deteção de movimento atual, a iluminação

e o estado da bateria a cada 30 segundos.

Para conectar o ShellyBLU Motion com outro

dispositivo Bluetooth, pressione e segure o

botão do dispositivo por 10 segundos.

É necessário abrir o dispositivo para aceder

ao botão de controlo.

Présentation du produit

Shelly BLU Motion (le Dispositif) est un cap-

teur connecté Bluetooth permettant la détec-

tion de mouvement. Il est aussu doté d'un

Instructions d'installation

⚠ATTENTION ! Le Dispositif est destiné à

être utilisé à l'intérieur uniquement !

⚠ATTENTION ! Danger d’électrocution. Gar-

dez le dispositif à l’écart des liquides et de

l’humidité. Le dispositif ne doit pas être utilisé

dans des endroits très humides.

⚠ATTENTION ! Ne pas utiliser si le Disposi-

tif a été endommagé !

⚠ATTENTION ! N’essayez pas d’entretenir

ou de réparer le Dispositif vous-même !

⚠ATTENTION ! L’e Dispositif peut être bran-

ché sans l et peut contrôler des circuits et

des appareils électriques. Procédez avec pru-

dence ! L’utilisation irresponsable du Disposi-

tif peut entraîner un dysfonctionnement, un

danger pour votre vie ou une violation de la loi.

Premières étapes

ShellyBLU Motion est livré prêt à l'emploi

avec la pile déjà installée.

Cependant, il se peut que vous deviez insérer

une pile si vous ne voyez pas le voyant LED

témoin, situé derrière la lentille du détecteur

de mouvement, clignoter en rouge lorsque

vous vous déplacez devant lui.

Consultez la section Remplacer la pile.

Utilisation de ShellyBLU Motion

Si un mouvement est détecté, le voyant LED

témoin clignote brièvement en rouge et le

Dispositif transmet des informations sur

l'évènement, l'éclairage et l'état de la pile au

moment de la détection du mouvement. Le

Dispositif n'émet pas d'informations pendant

une minute (congurable par l'utilisateur),

bien que la détection de mouvement fasse

clignoter le voyant LED témoin en rouge.

⚠AVERTISSEMENT ! Le voyant LED témoin

peut être désactivé dans les paramètres du

Dispositif.

Si aucun mouvement n'est détecté dans la

minute qui suit, il émet des informations sur

l'absence de mouvement, l'éclairage et l'état

de la pile au moment de la diffusion.

Si le Dispositif est en mode balise, il émet,

toutes les 30 secondes, des informations sur

la détection de mouvement en cours, l'éclai-

rage et l'état de la pile.

Pour coupler ShellyBLU Motion avec un autre

dispositif Bluetooth, appuyez sur le bouton

du Dispositif pendant 10 secondes.

Vous devez ouvrir le Dispositif pour accéder

au bouton de commande.

Consultez la section Remplacer la pile.

Le Dispositif attend la connexion pendant

une minute. Les propriétés Bluetooth dispo-

nibles sont décrites dans la documentation

Le mode d'appairage actif est indiqué par de

Busca la mejor ubicación para el Dispositivo

y utiliza los adhesivos de espuma de doble

cara suministrados para jarlo.

Inclusión inicial

⚠¡AVISO! Si elige usar el Dispositivo con la

aplicación móvil Shelly Smart Control, debe

tener al menos un dispositivo Shelly Wi-Fi y

Bluetooth (Gen2 o posterior) con alimenta-

ción permanente que durante la instalación

debe denominarse puerta de enlace Blue-

tooth.

Puede encontrar instrucciones sobre cómo

conectar el dispositivo a la nube y controlarlo

a través de la aplicación Shelly Smart Control

en la guía de la aplicación móvil.

La aplicación Shelly y el servicio Shelly Cloud

no son necesarios para que el dispositivo

Cambio de batería

⚠¡ATENCIÓN! ¡Utilice sólo pilas de 3 V

CR2477 o compatibles! ¡Preste atención a la

polaridad de la pila!

1. Inserte un destornillador de punta plana de

3 a 5 mm de ancho en la ranura, como se

muestra en la imagen 2.

2. Gire con cuidado el destornillador para

abrir la tapa trasera del aparato.

3. Extraiga la batería agotada empujándola

fuera de su soporte.

4. 4. Coloque una batería nueva.

5. Vuelva a colocar la tapa trasera presionán-

dola contra el cuerpo principal del disposi-

tivo hasta que oiga un clic.

⚠¡ATENCIÓN! Asegúrese de que la pequeña

ranura de la tapa trasera esté en el mismo

lado que la ranura correspondiente del cuerpo

principal, como se muestra en la imagen 2.

Substituindo a bateria

⚠CUIDADO! Use apenas 3 V CR2477 ou

bateria compatível! Preste atenção na polari-

dade da bateria!

1. Introduzir uma chave de fendas de lâmina

plana com 3 a 5 mm de largura na ranhura,

como mostra a Fig. 2.

2. Rode cuidadosamente a chave de fendas

para abrir a tampa traseira do dispositivo.

3. Extraia a bateria descarregada, empurran-

do-a para fora do seu suporte.

4. Introduza uma nova bateria.

5. Volte a colocar a tampa traseira, premin-

do-a contra o corpo principal do Dispositi-

vo até ouvir um estalido.

⚠CUIDADO!Certique-se de que o pequeno

recorte na tampa traseira está do mesmo

lado que o recorte correspondente no corpo

principal, conforme ilustrado na Fig. 2!

Pour réinitialiser les paramètres du dispositif,

Intégration initiale

⚠AVIS ! Si vous choisissez d'utiliser l'ap-

pareil avec l'application mobile Shelly Smart

Control, vous devez disposer d'au moins un

appareil Shelly Wi-Fi et Bluetooth (Gen2 ou

suivant) alimenté en permanence qui, lors

de l'installation, doit être appelé passerelle

Bluetooth.

Vous pouvez trouver des instructions sur

la façon de connecter l'appareil au cloud et

de le contrôler via l'application Shelly Smart

L'application Shelly et le service Shelly Cloud

ne sont pas indispensables au bon fonction-

nement du Dispositif. Ce Dispositif peut être

utilisé de manière autonome ou avec d'autres

Remplacer la pile

⚠ATTENTION ! N'utilisez qu'une pile

CR2477 de 3 V ou compatible. Respectez la

polarité de la pile !

1. Insérez un tournevis à lame plate de 3 à 5

mm de large dans la fente, comme indiqué

sur l'image 2.

2. Tournez délicatement le tournevis pour ou-

vrir le couvercle arrière du Dispositif.

3. Sortez la pile en la poussant hors de son

support.

4. Insérez une nouvelle pile.

5. Replacez le couvercle arrière en le pres-

sant contre la partie principale du Disposi-

tif jusqu'à ce que vous entendiez un déclic.

⚠ATTENTION ! Veillez à ce que la petite

découpe du couvercle arrière soit du même

côté que la découpe correspondante sur la

partie principale du dispositif, comme indiqué

sur l'image 2 !
