ELECTRIC KETTLE

Dear Buyer!

We congratulate you on having

bought the device under trade

name “Saturn”. We are sure that

our devices will become faithful

and reliable assistance in your

housekeeping.

Avoid extreme temperature chang-

es. Rapid temperature change (e.g.

when the unit is moved from freez-

ing temperature to a warm room)

may cause condensation inside the

unit and a malfunction when it is

switched on. In this case leave the

unit at room temperature for at

least 1.5 hours before switching it

on.If the unit has been in transit,

leave it indoors for at least 1.5

hours before starting operation.

Please read this instruction manual

carefully and familiarize yourself with

your new jug kettle before using for the

first time.

Please retain this manual for future ref-

erence.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS:

When using your kettle, basic safety

precautions should always be follow,

including the following.

- Read all instructions carefully, even

if you are familiar with appliance.

- Close supervision is necessary when

any appliance if used by or near chil-

dren.

- Before connecting the kettle, check

if the voltage indicated on the appliance

(underside of kettle and base Unit) cor-

responds with the main voltage in your

home. If this is not the case, contact

your dealer and do not use the kettle.

- Switch off and unplug from the out-

let before filling, emptying or cleaning,

or when not in use.

- Do not overfill as boiling water may

be ejected. The maximum level is

marked on the water indicator.

- Do not operate or place any part of

this appliance on or near any hot sur-

faces(such as gas or electric burner or

in a heated oven).

- Do not let the cord hang over the

edge of a table or counter. Do not let

the cord touch hot surfaces.

- Never yank on the cord as this may

damage the cord and eventually cause a

risk of electric shock.

- If the supply cord of this appliance

is damaged, it must only be replaced by

a repair shop appointed the manufac-

turer, because special purpose tools are

required.

- To avoid possible steam damage,

turn the spout away from walls or cabi-

nets when operating the kettle.

- If operated on wood furniture, use a

protective pad to prevent damage deli-

cate finishes.

- To avoid scalding, always ensure the

lid is correctly positioned before operat-

ing.

- Scalding may occur if the lid is re-

moved whilst heating.

- Extreme caution must be used when

moving the kettle containing hot water.

- Never lift the kettle by its lid. Al-

ways use the body handle.

- Do not switch your kettle on if it

empty.

- To protect from electrical hazard, do

not immerse this kettle, power base or

cord in any liquid.

- Use the kettle only with the supplied

base unit. Do not use the base unit for

other purposes.

- To protect against fire, do not oper-

ate in the presence of explosive and/or

flammable fumes.

- Do not use the kettle for any pur-

pose for any other uses than those

specified in this booklet.

- Do not remove the lid while the wa-

ter is boiling.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

- Before first use, fill the kettle with

clean water to maximum capacity and

boil. Discard the water and repeat.

- The kettle should always be un-

plugged when filling or adding water.

- Fill the kettle with water to the de-

sired level. Do not overfill or there will

be a risk of spillage or spitting. The wa-

ter level indicator will assist you to

measure correct amount. You can fill the

kettle via the spout or after opening the

lid. Do not forget to close the lid after

filling otherwise the kettle will not au-

tomatically switch off after use.

- Do not fill with less that 0.35 liter of

water.

- Do not fill with more than 1.2 liter

of water (up to “MAX” indication).

- An automatic safety cut-out has

been fitted for protection against over-

heating. It will operate if the kettle is

switched on when containing insufficient

water.

- If the automatic safety cut-out has

operated, switch the kettle off, discon-

nect form the power outlet and allow

the kettle to cool down for 5-

10minutes.Then refill with water and

switch on-the kettle will then boil and

cut off as in normal operation.

- The kettle may be switched off at

any time by either pushing the switch of

the kettle to the “up” position or by

switching the power off at the power

outlet.

- To pour water, lift the kettle from

the power base and pour.

CORDLESS KETTLE:

- Place the power base on a dry, flat

surface.

- Place the kettle on the power base.

The electrical connections will be made

automatically as the kettle slides onto

the power base.

- Plug the cord into an earthed power

socket and switch on by depressing the

switch of the kettle to the “down” posi-

tion.

- When the water has boiled, the ket-

tle will switch off automatically. After

allowing the kettle to cool down for 30

seconds, the water can be brought back

to the boil by pushing the switch back to

the “down” position. During the cooling

down time do not force the on/off switch

into the “down” (“ON”) position as this

can damage the operating mechanism.

- Do not remove the kettle from the

power-base without first switching off.

- The kettle may be switched off at

any time by either pushing the switch of

the kettle to the “up” position or by

switching the power off at the power

outlet.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR KETTLE:

Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a

soft, damp cloth or sponge. Remove

stubborn spots with a cloth moistened

with mild liquid detergent. Do not use

abrasive scouring pads or powders.

Never immerse the kettle in water or

other liquids. Since this kettle has con-

cealed heating element, is it important

to keep the bottom clean, between the

decalcification you may use a washing-

up brush or sponge.

From time to time, dependent on the

nature of your water supply, a limescale

deposit is naturally formed and can be

found mostly adhered to the heating

element and reduce the heating capaci-

ty. The amount of limescale deposited

(and subsequently the need to clean or

descale) largely depends on the water

hardness in your area and the frequency

with which the kettle is used.

Limescale is not harmful to your health.

But if poured into your beverage it can

give a powdery taste to your drink.

Therefore, the kettle should be descaled

periodically as indicated below:

DESCALING:

Descale the kettle regularly. with normal

use at least twice a year.

- Fill the kettle up to the “MAX” with a

mixture of one part acetic acid and two

parts water. Switch on and wait for the

appliance to switch off automatically.

- Let the mixture remain inside the

kettle overnight.

- Throw the mixture away the next

morning.

- Fill the kettle with clean water up

to MAX and boil again.〝〞

- Throw away this boiled water to re-

move any remaining scale and vinegar.

- Rinse the inside of the kettle with

clean water. The connector must be removed before

the appliance is cleaned and the

appliance inlet must be dried before the

appliance is used again.

Уверены, что наши изделия будут

верными и надежными помощни-

ками в Вашем домашнем хозяй-

стве.

Не подвергайте устройство резким

перепадам температур. Резкая

смена температуры (например,

внесение устройства с мороза в

теплое помещение) может вы-

звать конденсацию влаги внутри

устройства и нарушить его работо-

способность при включении.

Устройство должно отстояться в

теплом помещении не менее 1,5

часов. Ввод устройства в эксплуа-

тацию после транспортировки

производить не ранее, чем через

1,5 часа после внесения его в по-

мещение.

Перед первым использованием

устройства внимательно ознакомьтесь

с данной инструкцией по эксплуата-

ции. Сохраните инструкцию на буду-

щее.

Важные меры предосторожности

Используя электрочайник, необходимо

придерживаться основных мер без-

опасности:

- Прочтите инструкцию по эксплуа-

тации, даже если вы знаете, как об-

ращаться с устройством.

- Будьте особенно внимательны,

когда используете прибор возле де-

тей.

- Перед включением электрочайни-

ка проверьте, чтобы напряжение, ука-

занное на заводской табличке (под

основанием чайника и базы) соответ-

ствовало напряжению в сети. Если

напряжение не совпадает, свяжитесь

с продавцом – не используйте

электрочайник.

- Отключайте устройство от сети в

случаях, если не используете его,

перед тем как наливать или выливать

воду из устройства, перед очисткой.

- Не переливайте в электрочайник

воды – вода может разбрызгиваться

во время закипания. На индикаторе

уровня обозначен максимальный уро-

вень воды (MAX).

- Не ставьте и не используйте

электрочайник на или возле горячих

поверхностей (например, газовой и

электрической плиты или нагретой

духовки).

- Следите, чтобы шнур питания не

свисал со стола. Шнур питания не

должен касаться горячих поверхно-

стей.

- Не дергайте за шнур – это может

его повредить и стать причиной пора-

жения электротоком.

- Если поврежден шнур питания, он

должен быть заменен в авторизиро-

ванном сервисном центре. Ремонтиро-

вать электрочайник самостоятельно

запрещено.

- Во избежание повреждений, вы-

званных воздействием пара, следите

за тем, чтобы во время работы

устройства носик чайника не был

направлен в сторону стен и других

предметов.

- Чтобы избежать повреждения

деревянной поверхности стола, ставь-

те чайник на специальные подставки.

- Во избежание ошпаривания ки-

пятком убедитесь перед использова-

нием устройства, что крышка электро-

чайника плотно закрыта.

- Возможно получение ожогов, если

по время нагрева воды открыть крыш-

ку.

- Будьте внимательны при переносе

чайника, содержащего горячую воду.

- Не включайте пустой чайник.

- Во избежание поражения электро-

током не погружайте корпус, сетевой

шнур и базу питания в воду или дру-

гую жидкость.

- Используйте чайник только с ори-

гинальной базой. Не используйте

базу для других целей.

- Во избежание возгорания не испо-

льзуйте электрочайник рядом с -взры

воопасными или легковоспламеняе-

мыми веществами.

- Не используйте электрочайник в

целях, не предусмотренных данным

руководством по эксплуатации.

- Во время кипячения воды откры-

вать крышку чайника запрещено!

Инструкции по использованию:

- Перед первым использованием

залейте в чайник воды до максималь-

ного уровня и прокипятите. Слейте

воду и повторите процедуру еще раз.

- Во время доливания воды в чайник

прибор должен быть отключен от се-

ти.

- Наполните чайник необходимым

количеством воды и закройте крышку.

Не переливайте выше отметки “MAX”.,

нанесенной на шкале прибора, в про-

тивном случае вода будет выплески-

ваться из носика. Шкала прибора по-

может вам налить нужное количество

воды в чайник. Можно наливать воду

либо через носик, либо открыв крыш-

ку. Не забудьте закрыть крышку после

наполнения чайника водой, поскольку

прибор не выключится автоматически

после использования.

- Не наливайте воды менее, чем

0,35 л.

- Не наливайте более чем 1,2 л воды

(превышая отметку “MAX” на шкале).

- От перегрева прибор защищен
