Hood installation options
※ This installation option is a recirculation type, which may not sufficiently remove odors compared to hoods that exhaust
air to the outside, depending on usage conditions. When cooking with strong odors, we recommend opening a window
to use natural exhaust in conjunction. For optimal product performance, regular cleaning and replacement of the
filter are necessary. For detailed instructions on installation and cleaning of the appliances, visit the Samsung website
(www.samsung.com/support), go to Support > Support home, and then enter the model name.

1. Press and hold the Hood button.

Press 0~9 or Boost
to operate the hood.

Operate the Boost mode for 8 minutes and then change to 9 Level.

This product may produce relatively loud noise when operating in boost mode due to its powerful hood function.

When air passes through the charcoal filter designed for air purification, a whistling sound may occur during the airtight
filtering.
Smart/Auto Operation
(CC90H84JAD) Smart : This function automatically adjusts the airflow when the sensor and cooking zone power detect
harmful gases generated during cooking.
(CC90H84PAD) Auto : This function automatically adjusts the airflow according to the cooking zone power.
Smart/Auto operation Default : On
Press and hold the Hood button for 3 seconds to select options.

While Smart/Auto is operating, pressing and holding the Hood
button will terminate Smart/Auto operation.

You can operate the hood manually after the Smart/Auto mode is
turned off.
˗
If a lot of smoke (steam) occurs during cooking and the suction in
Smart/Auto mode is insufficient, please switch to manual operation.
ꞏ
If Smart/Auto is terminated by pressing and holding the Hood
button for 3 seconds and then the power is turned off and on again,
Smart/Auto operation will not start.
ꞏ
If Smart/Auto is activated by pressing and holding the Hood
button
for 3 seconds and then the power is turned off and on again, Smart/Auto
operation will start.
Hood AfterRun
This function operates the hood for a certain period of time after stopping to dry out the moisture inside the product.
ꞏ
Even if the Power
is turned off during AfterRun operation, AfterRun is maintained.
ꞏ
AfterRun operation only when the hood has been running for more than 1 minute and then turned off (based on hood fan
operation).
ꞏ
When the device is turned off with the Power
button, AfterRun operates, and when the Power is turned off again,
AfterRun ends.

Be sure to turn off the power when cleaning the hood.

Please use a soft sponge or brush soaked in warm water and neutral
liquid detergent to wipe away and remove grease stains from the inside
of the hood and its parts.

Do not use tools or equipment such as steel wool.

Do not use baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, citric acid, abrasives, alcohol,
etc.

This may damage the coating or cause discoloration.

Do not spray water directly on the hood while it is installed.

There is a risk of electric shock and fire.

Fatty deposits in the grease filter may catch fire and there is a risk of fire.

When using a dishwasher for cleaning, please refer to the user manual.

If a lot of water has entered the hood top suction inlet, please refer to the
user manual.

Once cleaning is complete, reassemble the parts in reverse order of
disassembly.
Replacing the Charcoal Filter
The charcoal filter reduces smells from air drawn in during recirculation
installation.
ꞏ
The charcoal filter has a standard lifespan of 360 hours, but its lifespan
may vary depending on the cooking environment and usage patterns.
ꞏ
It is recommended to replace it at least every 6 months.
1. Lift the Grille and detach the Tray Filter.
2.
Pull the top part of the Charcoal Filter diagonally and then remove it.
3.
Assemble the new charcoal filter according to the inside guide marks.
4.
Insert the new charcoal filter at an angle.
5.
Assemble the remaining parts in reverse order of disassembly.

This part cannot be cleaned and requires separate purchase and replacement through Samsung Service Center and
Homepage (www.samsung.com/support) when needed.

rallumée, le mode intelligent/automatique démarrera.
AfterRun de la hotte
Cette fonction fait fonctionner la hotte pendant une certaine période après l’arrêt de la cuisson afin de sécher l’humidité à l’intérieur du produit.

Même si le l’alimentation
est éteint pendant le fonctionnement de la fonction AfterRun, la fonction AfterRun est maintenue.
