GENERAL DESCRIPTION

SEC-R2 19”, 2U Height Rack Mount assembly for Mounting 2 SEC Series Desk Top Power Supplies 2 YEAR WARRANTY

Rack Mount Assembly is designed to mount 1 or 2 SEC Series Power Supplies on a 19” Rack Frame. The following Samlex SEC Series Desk

Top Power Supplies can be installed in the above Rack Mount Assemblies:

• SEC-1212 / SEC-1212CE • SEC-1212P

• SEC-1223 / SEC-1223CE • SEC-1223P

• SEC-1235 / SEC-1235M • SEC-1235P / SEC-1235P-M

• SEC-1223BBM

The assembly consists of a 19”, 2U Height Rack Plate with tray(s) for installing the power supplies (Please see pictures above). The power

supply conveniently sits on the tray and is xed by its 4 top cover screws that easily slide into the grooves in the front and rear portions of the

edge of the tray.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Tools Required: Phillips #2 Screwdriver

1. Switch OFF the SEC Power Supply and unplug the AC power cord from the AC outlet.

2. Loosen the 4 screws on the sides of the top cover of the power supply by few turns (do not remove) to create a gap between the screw

head and the surface of the plate to enable the screw to slide through the groove in the tray.

3. Align the 2 front screws over the 2 slots in the front portion of the grooves.

4. Lower the front of the power supply very carefully so that the 2 front screws are guided into the 2 slots. Now slowly push and slide the

power supply forward towards the rectangular cut in the front of the Rack Plate. While doing so, please ensure that the 2 screws at the

back of the power supply are carefully guided into the rear portion of the grooves. Slide the power supply fully forward till the front end of

the power supply sits properly in the rectangular slot in the Rack Plate.

5. Evenly tighten the 4 screws to x the power supply to the tray.

6. Install the Rack Plate Assembly with the mounted power supplies in the 19” Rack Frame.

7. Reconnect the AC power cord to the AC outlet. You are now ready to use the power supply.
