BATTERY OPERATION

1. Open battery cover on the rear (1).

2. Insert four 1.5V UM-2 batteries as

indicated on the case.

Alkaline cells are recommended.

3. Replace battery cover.

Note: Check your batteries regularly.

Old or discharged batteries must be

replaced to avoid acid leaking that may

damage your unit. If the unit is not to be

used for a long time, remove the

batteries from their compartment.

AC 230 V OPERATION

To operate the set on main power,

connect the plug end into a 230V AC

50 Hz electric source. The internal

battery circuit is automatically

disconnected.

RADIO OPERATION

1. Turn the Power ON/OFF/Volume

knob (5) until you hear a click.

2. Adjust the volume by tuning the

VOLUME control (5).

3. Extend the telescopic antenna (9)

for FM Band. To optimize MW/LW

reception turn horizontally the radio

until reaching the best reception

position.

4. Select the desired radio Band: LW/

MW or FM (4).

5. Tune to the desired station with the

Tuning knob (7).

6. To switch off the radio turn the

volume knob (5) counterclock-wise

until a click is heard.

HEADPHONES

For private listening this radio is

equipped with a 3.5 mm headphone

socket (6).

BATTERIEN

1. Den Deckel des Batteriefachs auf

der Rückseite entfernen (1).

2. Vier 1.5V Batterien des Typs UM-2

richtig gepolt ins Batteriefach

einlegen. (Wir empfehlen Alkali-

Batterien).

3. Den Deckel des Batteriefachs

wieder schliessen.

Anmerkung: Die Batterien

regelmässig prüfen. Alte oder entlade-

ne Batterien sofort auswechseln, um

eine Beschädigung des Geräts durch

auslaufende Säure zu vermeiden.

PILES

1. Ouvrir le logement des piles sur

l’arrière de l’appareil (1).

2. Introduire quatres piles de type UM-2

dans le logement en veillant à les

bien placer conformément au schéma

indiqué à l'interieur du logement

(nous recommandons des piles

Alcalines).

3. Fermer le logement.

Note: Contrôlez vos piles régulièrement.

Les piles trop vieilles ou déchargées

devront être remplacées afin d'éviter un

endommagement résultant de fuites

d'acide. Si l'appareil ne doit pas être

utilisé pendant une longue période de

temps, enlevez les piles du logement.

OPERATION AC 230 V

Pour opérer l'appareil avec le courant

230V, insérer la câble d'alimentation

dans une prise secteur. La circuit de

batteries interne est exclus.

OPERATIONS GENERALES

ECOUTE DE LA RADIO

1. Tourner le contrôle VOLUME (5)

jusqu'à entendre un "click".

2. Ajuster le contrôle de VOLUME (5)

au niveau désiré.

3. Détendre l'antenne télescopique (9)

pour la réception des ondes FM.

Tourner l'appareil horizontalement

pour une réception optimale des

ondes MW/LW.

4. Sélectionner la bande souhaitée:

FM ou MW/LW (4).

5. Syntoniser la station souhaitée avec

le contrôle de Syntonisation (7).

6. Pour éteindre l'appareil, tourner le

contrôle de VOLUME (5) en sens

anti-horaire jusqu'à entendre un

déclic.

CASQUE

Pour permettre l'écoute privé,

l'appareil est doté d'une entrée pour

casques stéréo de 3.5 mm (6).

ATTENTION ! A pleine puissance

l'écoute prolongée de la radio peut

endommager l'oreille de l'utilisateur.

PILAS

1. Quitese la tapa del compartimiento

de pilas (1).

2. Introduzca cuatro pilas tamaño

UM-2. controlando que están

ubicadas según el esquema en el

compartimiento. Recomendamos

pilas alcalinas.

3. Pongase nuevamente la tapa.

Nota: Controlar periódicamente las

pilas. Cambiase les pilas que estén

viejas o descargadas para evitar

daños provocados por eventuales

pérdidas de àcido.

FUCIONAMIENTO CON CORRIENTE

230 V AC

Conectar el extremo del cable de

alimentación a una toma de corriente

de pared de 230V AC.

PARA ESCUCHAR LA RADIO

RADIO

1. Girar el control ON/OFF-VOLUMEN

(5) en el sentido horario hasta

escuchar un "click".

2. Ajuste el nivel de volumen con el

control VOLUME (5).

3. Extraer la antena telescópica (9)

para la banda FM. Para optimizar la

recepción en MW/LW, rotar la radio

en el sentido horizontal.

4. Seleccionar la banda deseada:

FM o MW/LW (4).

5. Sintonizar la estación deseada con

el control SINTONIA (7).

6. Para apagar la radio girar el control

ON/OFF-VOLUMEN (5) en el

sentido

anti-horario hasta escuchar un

"click".

Para escuchar en forma privada, el

aparato tiene una entrada para

auriculares de 3.5 mm. (6).

BATTERIE

1. Aprire il vano batterie sul retro (1).

2. Inserire quattro batterie del tipo

UM-2 (si raccomandano quelle

alcaline).

Seguire le polarità indicate sul retro.

3. Richiudere il vano.

Nota: Controllate le batterie regolar-

mente. Le batterie vecchie o scariche

devono essere sostituite perche

possono perdere materiale acido che

danneggia l'apparecchio.

ALIMENTAZIONE ESTERNA

Per alimentare la radio tramite alimenta-

zione esterna, collegare la spina ad

una presa AC 230 V 50 Hz. Le batterie

interne verranno automaticamente

escluse.

RADIO

1. Per accendere, girare la manopola di

ON/OFF-VOL (5) fino a sentire un

click.

2. Regolare il volume al livello

desiderato ruotando in senso orario il

controllo VOLUME (5).

3. Estendere l'antenna telescopica

per la banda FM (9). Per ottimizzare

la ricezione in MW/LW, ruotare la

radio in senso orizzontale.

4. Selezionare la banda desiderata:

MW/LW o FM (4).

5. Sintonizzare la stazione desiderata

con il controllo SINTONIA (7).

6. Per spegnere la radio girare la

manopola ON/OFF/VOL (5) in senso

antiorario fino a sentire un click.

AURICOLARI

Per un ascolto privato, l'apparecchio

è provvisto di un'ingresso per

auricolari da 3.5 mm (6).

PILHAS

2. Coloque 4 pilhas do tipo UM-2 (reco-

mendamos as alcalinas). Obedeça as

polaridades indicadas atrás.

3. Feche novamente o vão.

Observação: verifique as pilhas peri-

odicamente. As pilhas velhas ou

descarregadas devem ser trocadas

porque pode haver vazamento de ma-

terial ácido que danifica o aparelho.

COMO PROCEDER

RÁDIO

1. Ligue mediante o interruptor ON /

OFF (5).

2. Para regular o volume no nível

desejado, rode na direcção horário

comando do VOLUME (5).

3. Estenda a antena telescópica para a

banda FM. Para optimizar a recep-

ção em MW, rode o rádio na direc

ção vertical.

4. Seleccione na banda que desejar

MW, ou FM (4).

5. Sintonize na estação que desejar

mediante o comando da SINTONIA

(7).

6. Desligue o rádio mediante o interrup

tor ON/OFF(5)
