1. General Information
Dear Customer,
This user manual contains a description of the device and important guidelines to ensure its correct and safe
usage. It is important prior to use to read this manual carefully. It is especially important to read the safety
requirements and follow these.
REHASENSE continuously develops its products and so reserves the right to change the specifications and

2. Intended Usage, Indications & Contraindications
Intended usage: The walker has been designed as an assistive walking aid for the people who have mobility
problems related to standing or walking independently. With the device, the User can stand and walk more
easily.
The main purpose of this product is to provide balance during the gait as well as providing partial unloading
of the upper limbs through the forearm supports, which can be adjusted in and out to fit the Users’ body. The
forearm supports can be adjusted up and down by a control lever connected to the gas strut. The hand grip
and brake lever assemblies can be positioned independently to enable the best position for the User. Such a
walker offers better support, balance and stability than regular rollators. The device may be used indoor only.
Any other usage is prohibited
Indications: Individuals who, (because of the wide variety of possible health problems) require additional
stable support during walking. Individuals under physical rehabilitation treatment after a surgical operation on
their leg, foot or hip.
Contraindications: The device must not be used by persons who have serious problems with body balance
or whose muscle strength is too low to be able to stand and walk, even with extra support of a walker. The
use of such a walker should be indicated by a physician or physical therapist.
3. Security requirements
Make sure that this User’s Manual is read by all persons who use the device. The manufacturer takes no
responsibility for damage and/or injuries, caused by improper use as a result of not reading and following
instructions in the User’s Manual.
Limitations for usage
ď‚· The device must not be loaded with more than 150 kg.
ď‚· The device is dedicated to be used only indoors on flat surfaces.
ď‚· The device may NOT be used as a stand-up helping aid.
ď‚· The gas spring is intended ONLY for support of adjusting the height of the armrests.
ď‚· The gas spring may not be used as additional power for standing up.
ď‚· The device may ONLY be used when the armrest supporting columns are locked in the right position
with the position locking knobs.
Avoiding the accidents
ď‚· Use the device only for the purpose it is intended for.
ď‚· Use the device only in good technical condition.
 Avoid making constructive changes on the device, unless you have the manufacturer’s written
acceptance for such modifications.
ď‚· During different adjustments which are possible on the device the user must take care not to
squeeze the fingers or other body parts between two moving elements of the device
ď‚· All wheels MUST be in contact with the floor at ALL TIMES during use. This will ensure the device is
properly balanced and should avoid accidents.
ď‚· When using the device in a stationary position, the hand brakes MUST be locked.
ď‚· The brakes MUST be in the locked position before entering or leaving the device unattended.

Be careful. Fingers or other body parts of a user or/and assistant can be trapped
between device’s elements during assembling, disassembling or adjusting of the device.
Be extremely careful when adjusting the device’s characteristics. Observe the
dimensions of gaps between device’s elements to avoid trapping your fingers or other
body parts.
4. Delivery, assembly & product general description
Description
The Platform is a four wheel walker with a rigid frame made from powder coated aluminium, with forearm
supports equipped with push handles and brake handles for the users’ safety and comfort. The device offers
great manoeuvrability, stability and is equipped with forearm supports that can be adjusted vertically and
horizontally. Platform 1000GB is equipped with 2 foot parking brakes and 2 manoeuvre brakes with parking
brake function activated by hand levers.
Delivery
The walkers are supplied in cartons fully assembled for quick and easy deployment.
