Product Overview
Familiarize yourself with the components and controls of your Redragon H878 headset.
Headset Controls and Indicators:
•Power ON/OFF Buon:Located on the le earcup. Press and hold to power on or o.
•Volume Control Wheel:Adjusts audio volume.
•Microphone Mute Buon:Toggles microphone mute on/o.
•USB-C Port:For charging and wired connecon.
•Microphone Jack:For connecng the detachable microphone.
•LED Indicator:Displays connecon status and baery level.
•1. Initial Charging
•Before first use, fully charge the headset. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the
headset's USB-C port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer
USB port, USB wall adapter). The LED indicator will show charging status and turn
off when fully charged.
•2. Attaching the Microphone
•Insert the detachable microphone into the microphone jack located on the left
earcup until it clicks into place. Ensure it is firmly connected for clear audio
transmission.
•3. Connection Modes
•The Redragon H878 supports connection modes:
3.1. 2.4GHz Wireless Connecon (Recommended for Gaming)
1.Plug the 2.4GHz USB dongle into an available USB port on your PC, PS5/4/3, or Nintendo
Switch dock.
2.Power on the headset by pressing and holding the Power ON/OFF buon.
3.The headset will automacally aempt to connect to the dongle. The LED indicator will
show a solid blue light when connected.
4.On your device, ensure the Redragon H878 is selected as the audio output and input
device.
3.2. Wired Connecon (USB-C)
1.Connect the USB-C cable from the headset's USB-C port directly to a USB port on your PC
or compable device.
2.The headset will funcon as a wired audio device. No baery power is consumed in this
mode.
3.Ensure the Redragon H878 is selected as the audio output and input device in your system
sengs.

Power On/O
•To power on: Press and hold the Power ON/OFF buon for 3 seconds.
•To power o: Press and hold the Power ON/OFF buon for 3 seconds.
Volume Adjustment
•Rotate the volume control wheel up to increase volume.
•Rotate the volume control wheel down to decrease volume.
Microphone Usage
•To mute/unmute the microphone: Press the Microphone Mute buon. The LED indicator
on the microphone or headset will change to indicate mute status.
•For opmal voice clarity, posion the microphone approximately 1-2 inches from your
mouth. The noise-cancellaon feature helps reduce background noise.
•7.1 Surround Sound
•The Redragon H878 features 7.1 virtual surround sound for an immersive audio
experience. This feature is typically enabled automatically when connected via
2.4GHz wireless or USB-C wired mode on compatible systems (e.g., Windows PC).
For some systems, you may need to enable 7.1 surround sound in your device's
audio settings or through Redragon's dedicated software (if available).
•Battery Life and Charging
•The headset is equipped with a 600mAh battery, providing extended usage time.
When the battery is low, the LED indicator will flash. Connect the headset to a
power source using the USB-C cable to recharge.
