ThePureAcousticsindoor/outdoorspeakers are manufactured toresistavarietyof

weatherconditions.However,theyare notwaterproof,soif you decidetoplaceyour

speakersoutdoors,positionthemso theyarenotexposedto theelements.The

undersides ofmosteavesandoverhangsprovidethebestprotectionfor

indoor/outdoor loudspeakers.

SPEAKER MOUNTING

Ifyour applicationrequiresthe Pure Acousticsindoor/outdoorspeakersto be

mounted,pleasefollow these directions. Usingthe hardware supplied,mountthe

bracket first.Attachthe speakers tothe bracketsusing thelargeplasticknobs

supplied.Nevermountaspeakeron awall madeofunreinforceddrywall or

plasterboard. Ifyouare unsure, consult aprofessionalcontractor.

HOOKINGIT UP

The bindingpost speakerterminals onthePure Acoustics indoor/outdoorspeakers

will accommodate up to12-gauge wire.When connecting the speakers, itisvery

important to observe thecorrectpolarity. Thismeansthat the wireattached tothe (+),

red, orpositiveterminalononecomponent mustbe attached tothe(+),red,or

positiveterminal onthe correspondingcomponent’sspeakeroutputterminals.

Similarly, the(-), black, negative, or groundterminals mustconnect totherespective

(-), black,negative,orgroundterminals. Thisiseasytodobylocating thecolor,

stripes,or ribbingthat appearson mostwire.
