• Ensure fingers are kept well away from the blades when in use.
• Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
• Do not push ingredients down the jug with your hands.
• Always operate on a flat surface.
• Ensure the toggle switch is in the off '0' position before plugging into the power outlet.
• Do not operate for more than 1 minute at a time.
• Read carefully and save all the instructions provided with this appliance
• Always turn the power off at the power outlet before you insert or remove the jug or blades.
• Do not unplug from the mains by pulling on the mains lead.
• Turn the power off and remove the plug when the appliance is not in use and before assembling, disassembling or
cleaning.
• Check that the voltage marked on the appliance rating plate matches your mains supply.
• Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used near children or infirm persons.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience an n supervision or instruction d knowledge, unless they have been give

• Do not let the power cord touch any hot surface.
• Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or after the appliance has been dropped or damaged in any
way.
• Do not immerse the motor base or its lead in water or any other liquid.
• Avoid contacting moving parts. Always operate blender with lid in place.
• CAUTION: Ensure the blender is switched off before removing it from the stand.
• Always allow liquids to cool down to room temperature before placing them in the jug.

Thoroughly clean all parts of the blender before you use the appliance for the first time (see chapter ‘CLEANING’).

1. Assemble the Sealing Ring (4) on the blender Blade Unit (5).
2. Place the Blade Unit with the Sealing Ring into the Jug Base (6).
3. Mount the Glass Jug (3) onto the jug base unit and turn the jug base unit in the clockwise direction until it is fixed.
4. After you’ve added your ingredients in the jug, fix the Lid (2) onto the jug by pressing down firmly, making sure the
lip on the lid aligns with the jug spout.
5. Insert the Inner Cover (1) into the opening of the lid, and turn it in a clockwise direction until it is secure.

Make sure the blender is unplugged and switched in the ‘0’ setting.
1. Place the blender jug on the motor base in right position.
2. Remove the lid or the inner cover from the blender jug and place ingredients into the jug.
3. Place the lid with the inner cover back onto the jug making sure the lip on the lid aligns with the jug spout. Do not
exceed the maximum indicated level – 0.8 liter.
4. Plug into the mains.
5. To start mixing the ingredients, set the toggle switch to the desired speed setting (1 or 2).
y The PULSE function remains on as long as the Pulse button is pressed down, for greater control when
blending, e.g. when chopping nuts or chocolates, or crushing ice.
y Speed setting 1 and 2 provide continuous blending until the toggle switch is turned to the ‘0’ position.
6. You can add further ingredients while blending. For this, remove the inner cover and drop ingredients through the
pouring hole. (Stop the blender first).
7. When finished blending, set the toggle switch to the ‘0’ position.
ATTENTION:
- Do not operate the blender without the cover in place.
- Do not run the motor continuously for more than 2 minutes.
- Allow the motor base to cool for 5 minutes after every 2 minutes of use.
