This manual applies to the GM-5400T and GM-

3400T. However, the illustrations show the GM-

5400T.

There are differences between the GM-5400T

and the GM-3400T . The differences for the GM-

3400T are as follows:

!There is no (beat frequency control)BFC

switch.

!There is no (bass boost levelBASS BOOST

control) switch

Before connec ting/

installing the amplifier

WARNING

!The use of a special red battery and ground

wire RD-223, available separa tely, is recom-

me nded. Connect the battery wire directly to

the car batte ry positive termina l and the+

ground wire to the car body.

!This unit is for vehicles with a 12 V battery and

negative grounding. Before instal ling in re-

creational vehicles, trucks or buses, check the

battery voltage.
