1. Plug the surge protector into a standard grounding
duplex wall receptacle, covering both outlets, by
fully inserting the blades and ensure that there are
no exposed conductors.
2. The surge protector will now be providing power and
surge protection.
3. Make sure electronic equipment is turned o before
plugging into the surge protector outlets. Do not
use extension cords to connect equipment to the
surge protector.
4. Connected equipment can now be turned on.
5. Hold the surge protector rmly against wall when
removing plugs to prevent it from pulling loose.
USB Charging
• 4.2 Amp total output allows you to charge two
tablets or four smartphones at full capacity at the
same time. Recharge your device at a maximum
speed of 2.1 Amp when connected to a single port.
• The USB ports are used to charge portable
electronic devices only. There is no data
transfer capability.
NOTE: Check the blue “PROTECTED” indicator light
periodically. A glowing blue indicator light shows
that surge protection is being provided. If the blue
“PROTECTED” indicator light stops glowing, the surge
protective components have expired — though power
will still be supplied to the outlets, now unprotected.
To ensure the protection of your electronics the surge
protector should be replaced.
Surge Protector — Limited-Lifetime
Warranty
This surge protector is warranted to be free of defects
in workmanship and/or materials for the life* of the
surge protector. If such a defect should arise during the
life of the surge protector, we will, at our option, either
repair or replace the surge protector without charge. This
warranty does not cover damage caused by lightning,
accident, misuse, or alterations to the surge protector.
* This surge protector, like all surge protectors, has a
nite lifespan. Even under normal circumstances and
in the absence of defects, the product’s life will expire
when the surge protector’s component capacity has
been exceeded, thereby ceasing to provide protection
from surges.
Warranty replacement procedure
1. Call our Customer Information Center at 1-844-816-
0320 to get a Return Authorization Number (RA#),
shipping instructions and a prepaid return address
label.
2. Return the said surge protector, freight prepaid, to
us. Surge protectors returned to us must have an
RA# included in the mailing address to be accepted.
3. The original purchaser will be asked to send the
surge protector, a copy of the sales receipt for the
product, your name, address, phone number and a
description of the problem.

Maximum Warranty Amount: $50,000(USD)
NOTE: This device is not a lightning arrestor, so it will
not aord protection when lightning strikes nearby
power line, the house, service entrance or antenna. The
warranty is void if a power disturbance damages your
equipment through the coax, phone or network lines.
We will pay up to the maximum warranty amount
oered for the surge protector purchased to repair or
replace up to an amount equal to the fair market value
or the original purchase price, whichever is less, of your
electronics equipment, if damaged by a transient surge
(except those caused by direct lightning), within the
life* of the surge protector, while properly and directly
connected to this surge protector. WE DISCLAIM AND
ASSUME NO LIABILITY FOR ANY OTHER INCIDENTAL
OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT
LIMITED TO LOSS OR DAMAGE TO SOFTWARE OR
DATA OR DAMAGES OR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH
BUSINESS INTERRUPTION OR OTHER DAMAGES DUE
TO LOSS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT, SOFTWARE
OR DATA. Some states do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so
the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specic legal rights, and you
may also have other rights that may vary from state to
state.
This warranty is secondary to any existing coverage of
any connected equipment, including but not limited
to, any manufacturer’s warranty, extended warranties,
or insurance coverage.
To qualify for a connected equipment warranty:
1. All connected equipment must be safety certied by
a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory.
2. The said surge protector must be plugged into
properly wired and grounded outlets, no extension
cords, adapters, other ground wires or electrical
connectors may be used, with the sole exception of
other standard 120 volt products approved for that
use. The installation must comply with all applicable
electrical and safety codes set forth pursuant to the
National Electrical Code (NEC).
3. Any claim under the warranty policy must be made
within 15 days of the date of the alleged damage to
the connected equipment.
For connected equipment coverage, the following
conditions must be satised:
A. All equipment eligible for warranty coverage must
be plugged directly into said surge protector.
Equipment connected to the protected equipment,
but not plugged directly into the surge protector will
not be covered.
B. The equipment must have been damaged by a
covered power disturbance that passed through the
said surge protector.
C. The said surge protector must be damaged from the
power disturbance.
D. The said surge protector’s protection capacity must
not have been exceeded.
Connected equipment claim procedure:
1. Call our Customer Information Center at 1-844-816-
0320 to get a Return Authorization Number (RA#),
shipping instructions and a prepaid return address
label.
2. After you have received the prepaid return address
label, return the surge protector, freight prepaid,
to us. Surge protectors returned to us must have an
RA# included in the mailing address to be accepted.
3. We will determine whether the damage to your
equipment is covered by this warranty policy. If
you are covered, a claims adjuster will contact
you and we will do one of the following at our own
discretion:
a. Authorize a service center to repair damaged
equipment.
b. Replace damaged equipment with equivalent
or better.
c. Reimburse customer the fair market value of the
damaged equipment.
d. Reimburse customer the initial purchase price of
the damaged equipment (customer to provide
dated bill of sale).
4. We retain the right to determine whether the
damage to the connected equipment is due to said
surge protector failure by requesting that damaged
equipment be sent to us for inspection.

Se garantiza que este supresor de sobretensiones

durante toda su vida útil. En caso de que surgiese
algún defecto durante la vida útil del supresor de
sobretensiones, repararemos o reemplazaremos,
según nuestro criterio, el supresor de sobretensiones
sin ningún cargo. La presente garantía no cubre daños
producidos por rayos eléctricos, accidentes, maltrato o
modicaciones al supresor de sobretensiones.
*Este supresor de sobretensiones, como cualquier
supresor de sobretensiones, tiene una vida útil
limitada. Incluso en circunstancias normales y ante
la ausencia de defectos, la vida útil de este producto
terminará cuando se haya agotado la capacidad de los
componentes del producto, y en tal momento dejará
de proporcionar protección contra sobretensiones.
Procedimiento de la garantía para la reposición
1. Llame al centro de atención al cliente al 1-844-816-
0320 para obtener un número de autorización de
devolución (RA#), así como las instrucciones para
el envío y una etiqueta prepagada con la dirección
para la devolución.
2. Envíenos el supresor de sobretensiones, con
franqueo pagado. A n de que se acepten los
supresores de sobretensiones devueltos, estos
deben incluir el número RA en la dirección postal.
3. Se le solicitará al comprador original que envíe el
supresor de sobretensiones, una copia del recibo de
compra del producto y que especique su nombre,
dirección, número telefónico y una descripción del
problema.

Monto máximo de la garantía: USD 50 000
NOTA: Este dispositivo no es un pararrayos, de modo
que no ofrece protección cuando caiga un rayo en los
cables de tensión cercanos, en la casa, entrada de
servicio o en la antena. La garantía queda anulada si
una perturbación eléctrica causa daños a su equipo a
través del cable coaxial, telefónico o de la red.
Pagaremos hasta el importe máximo de la garantía
ofrecida por el supresor de sobretensiones para
reparar o cambiar el aparato electrónico hasta un
monto igual al valor real de mercado o al precio de
compra original, el que fuera menor, si se produce
un daño por sobretensiones transitoria (salvo la
provocada por la caída directa de un rayo) dentro
de la vida útil* del supresor de sobretensiones,
siempre y cuando el aparato electrónico dañado
haya estado debida y directamente conectado a este
supresor de sobretensiones. NO ASUMIMOS NINGUNA
RESPONSABILIDAD POR DAÑOS Y PERJUICIOS,
INCIDENTALES O CONSECUENTES, INCLUSO DE
MANERA NO LIMITATIVA: POR LA PÉRDIDA O DAÑO DE
SOFTWARE O DATOS O DAÑOS O COSTOS ASOCIADOS
CON LA INTERRUPCIÓN DE LAS ACTIVIDADES
COMERCIALES U OTROS DAÑOS, DEBIDO A LA
PÉRDIDA O DAÑO DEL EQUIPO, DEL SOFTWARE O
DE DATOS. Algunos países no permiten la exclusión o
limitación de la cláusula sobre daños incidentales o
consecuentes, por este motivo las limitaciones arriba
mencionadas pueden no aplicarse en su caso. Esta
garantía le otorga derechos legales especícos, es
posible que tenga otros derechos que pueden variar
según el estado en el que vive.
Esta garantía es secundaria a cualquier otra cobertura
existente que tengan los equipos conectados, incluso,
de manera no limitativa, a toda garantía del fabricante,
garantías ampliadas o coberturas de seguros.
Para calicar para la garantía de equipos conectados:
1. Todos los equipos conectados deben contar con un
certicado de seguridad emitido por un laboratorio
de pruebas reconocido a nivel nacional.
2. El supresor de sobretensiones debe estar enchufado
a un tomacorriente correctamente cableado y
con conexión a tierra; no se deben usar cables de
extensión, adaptadores, otros cables de conexión a
tierra ni conectores eléctricos; solo se podrán usar
otros productos estándar de 120 V aprobados para
dicho uso. La instalación debe cumplir con todos
los códigos eléctricos y de seguridad conformes al
Código Estadounidense de Normas de Electricidad
(NEC).
3. Todo reclamo presentado durante la validez de la
póliza de garantía se debe realizar en un plazo de 15
días tras haberse producido el supuesto daños del
equipo conectado.
Se deben cumplir las siguientes condiciones para
obtener la cobertura del equipo conectado:
A. El equipo elegible para recibir la cobertura de
la garantía debe estar enchufado directamente
al supresor de sobretensiones. Todo equipo
que esté conectado al equipo protegido, pero
no esté enchufado directamente al supresor de
sobretensiones, no estará cubierto por esta garantía.
B. El equipo deberá haber sido dañado por una
perturbación eléctrica —cubierta por la garantía—
que haya atravesado al supresor de sobretensiones.
C. El supresor de sobretensiones tuvo que haber sido
dañado por dicha perturbación eléctrica.
D. No deberá haberse superado la capacidad de
protección del supresor de sobretensiones.
Procedimiento de reclamo para equipos conectados:
1. Llame al centro de atención al cliente al 1-844-816-
0320 para obtener un número de autorización de
devolución (RA#), así como las instrucciones para el

2. Una vez que haya recibido la etiqueta prepagada
con la dirección para la devolución, envíenos el

3. Determinaremos si el daño del equipo está cubierto
por esta póliza de garantía. Si está cubierto, el
tasador responsable del reclamo se contactará con
usted, y tomaremos, a nuestra total discreción, una
de las siguientes medidas:
a. Autorizaremos a un centro de reparaciones para
reparar el equipo dañado.
b. Cambiaremos el equipo dañado por otro
equivalente o mejor.
c. Reembolsaremos al cliente el valor real de
mercado del equipo dañado.
d. Reembolsaremos al cliente el precio de compra
original pagado por el equipo dañado (el cliente
deberá proporcionar la factura de compra
fechada).
4. Nos reservamos el derecho de determinar si el
daño al equipo conectado se debe a una falla
del supresor de sobretensiones; para ello, podrá
solicitar que se le envíe el equipo dañado para su
inspección.
