Cleaning and sterilization

Clean the spout after each use to

ensure optimal hygiene. The spout is

dishwasher-safe. Food colorings

may discolor parts.

Rinse the spout thoroughly in

warm water with some washing-

up liquid. You can also clean the

spout on the top rack of the

dishwasher.

Caution: Do not use abrasive or

anti-bacterial cleaning agents or

chemical solvents. Excessive

concentration of cleaning agents

may eventually cause the spout

to crack. If this occurs, replace

the spout immediately.

Caution: Do not place parts

directly on surfaces that have

been cleaned with anti-bacterial

cleaners.

Sterilize the spout in a sterilizer or

boiling water for max. 5 minutes.

The spout is also suitable for all

standard sterilization methods.

Note: Wash your hands

thoroughly and make sure

surfaces are clean before contact

with sterilized items.

Do not sterilize the spout in the

microwave without using a

microwave sterilizer.

After sterilization, let the spout

cool down for 5 minutes.

sucking of uids will cause tooth

decay.

-Always check food temperature

before feeding.

-Keep all components not in use

small parts or walk/run while

using bottles or cups.

-The spouts are not suitable for

hot, zzy or pulpy drinks.

-Do not use cups with spouts and

valves to mix infant formula as

this may cause liquids to leak.

Caution

-Before rst use, place the spout in

boiling water for 5 minutes. This is

to ensure hygiene.

-Do not leave a spout in direct

sunlight or heat, or leave in

disinfectant (sterilizing solution)

for longer than recommended, as

this may weaken the spout.

Before each use

Inspect the spout and throw it away

at the rst sign of damage or

weakness. Always clean the spout

before each use. Ensure the cup is

properly assembled by pulling the

spout fully through the screw ring

(Fig. 1).

Compatibility

All Philips Avent Natural bottles and

cups are compatible excluding the

glass bottles and My First Big Kid

Cup/Grown Up Cups. So you can mix

and match to create the perfect cup,

suiting your toddler‘s individual

development needs.
