3 YEAR REPLACEMENT WARRANTY
Your product is guaranteed for a period of 36 months from
the original date of purchase. If a product is defective it will
be replaced in accordance with the terms of this warranty.
Warranty excludes consumable parts, for example: grinding discs,
carbon brushes, disc guard, ďŹange.
WARNING
The following actions will result in the warranty being void.
⢠If the tool has been operated on a supply voltage other
than that speciďŹed on the tool.
⢠If the tool shows signs of damage or defects caused
by or resulting from abuse, accidents or alterations.
⢠Failure to perform maintenance as set out within the
instruction manual.
⢠If the tool is disassembled or tampered with in any way.

Adjusting the Safety Guard
Fitting the Side Handle
1 Loosen guard bolt with a
phillips head screwdriver.
3 Tighten the guard bolt to
secure in place.
1 Firmly attach the side handle
in the desired position by
rotating clockwise.
2 To remove the side handle
rotate it anti-clockwise.
The safety guard must be used at all times whilst operating the angle
grinder.
The side handle can be îżtted on either side of your grinder. The correct
position will be determined by your preferred hand and the operation
being performed.
2 Rotate the safety guard into
the desired position.
2. GRINDING DISC 3. SWITCHING ON & OFF
OPERATION
1 Slide and hold the lock-off
slide switch to the right.
2 Push the on/off switch into the
on position to start the grinder.
3 To stop the grinder, push the
on/off switch backward into the
off position.
1 Depress and hold the spindle
lock button. The angle grinder is îżtted with a lock-off slide switch to avoid accidental
start up.
3 Use the pin spanner to loosen
the outer îange.
5 Screw the outer îange onto
the spindle.
Note: The îat side of the îange
locates against the disc.
Inspect the grinding disc before îżtment to ensure it is not cracked or
deformed. The grinding disc is suitable for grinding tasks only. Only use
grinding discs with a diameter of 100mm.
2 Rotate the spindle to locate
the lock position.
4 Insert the disc with the label
facing up.
6 Depress and hold the spindle
lock button. Firmly tighten
the outer îange with the pin
spanner.
CAUTION: REGULARLY CHECK THAT THE
OUTER FLANGE HAS NOT BECOME LOOSE
DURING OPERATION.
WARNING: THE TOOL IS RECOMMENDED FOR
USE WITH A RESIDUAL CURRENT DEVICE WITH A
RATED RESIDUAL CURRENT OF 30MA OR LESS.
