1. Remove bench from the box.

2A. On the KB8802, place bench cushion-side

down on flat surface. Remove legs from

underneath the bench.

2B. On the KB8902, place the bench down on a

flat surface. Lift lid and remove legs. Once legs

are removed, place bench cushion-side down on

flat surface.

3. Remove nut and washer from one of the legs.

take leg and insert the threaded stud through the

corner bracket with the leg on the outside.

4. Replace washer first, then hand-tighten the nut

on the threaded stud.

5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for remaining legs.

6. Fully tighten nuts with an adjustable wrench.

The bench included with the KB8902 has a flip-top

seat with a storage compartment. The lid support

bracket tension was preset at the factory for shipping

conditions. To prevent the lid from accidentally

closing, adjust the tension on the support brackets

evenly on both sides until the lid remains half open.
