Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Ihr Universalschloss mit Alarm dient zur Sicherung von

Objekten wie etwa einem Tor und zum Schutz vor

Mitnahmediebstählen wie etwa bei Fahrrädern oder

Reisegepäck. Ihr Universalschloss löst ein lautes

akustisches Warnsignal aus, wenn es über einige

Sekunden unbefugt bewegt wird oder das Stahlseil durchtrennt wird.

Voraussetzung für eine bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung ist die sachge-

mäße Installation sowie die Beachtung und Einhaltung der Hinweise dieser

Bedienungsanleitung.

Jede andere Verwendung als in der bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung

beschrieben gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Eigenmächtige Veränderun-

gen oder Umbauten sind nicht zulässig und führen zur Beschädigung Ihres

Universalschlosses.

Schloss verriegeln

Bei Auslieferung lautet die Zahlenkombination 0-0-0-0. Ziehen Sie das

Stahlseil in der benötigten Länge aus dem Gehäuse Ihres Universalschlos-

ses heraus. Das Stahlseil hat eine Gesamtlänge von 65 cm. Die Zahlen in

der Abbildung zeigen Ihnen die Reihenfolge,

wie Sie das Schloss verriegeln.

1. Drücken Sie die Taste Roll-Back, um das

Stahlseil freizugeben.

2. Ziehen Sie das Stahlseil so weit aus

dem Gehäuse, dass Sie das gewünschte

Objekt entsprechend Ihrer Bedürfnisse

sichern können.

3. Führen Sie den Metallstift in die Önung,

bis der Metallstift hörbar einrastet.

4. Verändern Sie die Zahlenkombination,

um Ihr Universalschloss zu sichern. Wir

empfehlen, alle Stellen der Zahlenkombi-

nation zu verändern.

Schloss önen

Nutzen Sie die praktische Roll-Back-Funktion Ihres Universalschlosses. Das

Stahlseil wird über einen Tastendruck automatisch eingezogen. Die Zahlen

in der Abbildung zeigen Ihnen die Reihenfolge, wie Sie das Schloss önen.

1. Stellen Sie die gültige Zahlenkombina-

tion ein.

2. Drücken Sie die Taste, um den Metallstift

zu entriegeln.

3. Ziehen Sie den Metallstift aus Ihrem

Universalschloss.

VORSICHT! Verletzungsgefahr

durch unkontrollierte Bewegungen

des Stahlseils. Wenn Sie das

Stahlseil einrollen, halten Sie das

Stahlseil fest, um unkontrollierte

Bewegungen zu vermeiden.

4. Drücken und halten Sie die Taste, um

das Stahlseil einzurollen.

Alarmmodus einstellen

Verwenden Sie Ihr Universalschloss im Alarmmodus, löst Ihr Universal-

schloss ein lautes akustisches Warnsignal aus, wenn dieses unbefugt

bewegt oder das Stahlseil durchtrennt wird. Der Alarmmodus kann nur ein-

geschaltet werden, wenn Batterien eingelegt sind und das Schloss verriegelt

ist.

Empﬁ ndlichkeit einstellen

Bei geringer Empﬁ ndlichkeit löst Ihr Univer-

salschloss einen Alarm aus, wenn dieses acht

Sekunden ununterbrochen bewegt wird.

1. Drücken und halten Sie die Taste auf

der Vorderseite, bis Sie zwei Signaltöne

hören. Die Leuchtanzeige blinkt zweimal

pro Sekunde.

Bei größerer Empﬁ ndlichkeit löst Ihr Univer-

salschloss einen Alarm aus, wenn dieses vier

Sekunden ununterbrochen bewegt wird.

2. Drücken und halten Sie die Taste auf der

Vorderseite, bis Sie drei Signaltöne hören.

Die Leuchtanzeige blinkt dreimal pro

Sekunde.

Zahlenkombination einstellen

Bei Auslieferung lautet die Zahlenkombination

0-0-0-0. Wir empfehlen Ihnen die Zahlenkom-

bination so einzustellen, dass es für einen

unbefugten Dritten nicht möglich ist, die Zah-

lenkombination durch schlichtes Ausprobieren

einfacher Kombinationen (bspw. 1-2-3-4 oder

0-0-0-0) herauszuﬁ nden. Die Zahlen in der

Abbildung zeigen Ihnen die Reihenfolge, wie

Sie die Zahlenkombination einstellen.

1. Drücken und halten Sie die Taste und

drücken Sie den Metallstift nach unten in

das Gehäuse. Das Zahlenschloss ist zum

Einstellen der Kombination freigegeben.

2. Wählen Sie eine gewünschte Zahlenkom-

bination und lassen Sie die Taste wieder

los. Die neue Zahlenkombination ist eingestellt.

Batterien wechseln

Ihr Universalschloss wird von vier Batterien

(Typ LR44) mit Strom versorgt.

1. Önen Sie das Schloss.

2. Drücken Sie die Taste Roll-Back und

schieben Sie gleichzeitig die Batterie-

fachabdeckung zur Seite.

3. Legen Sie vier Batterien (Typ LR44) in

das Batteriefach ein. Achten Sie darauf,

die Batterien in der richtigen Ausrichtung

einzulegen.

4. Setzen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung

wieder auf.

Intended Use

The universal lock with alarm serves to lock objects, such

as a gate, and protect objects, such as bicycles and

baggage, from theft. The universal lock triggers a loud

acoustic alarm signal when it is moved for a few seconds

without authorisation or the steel cable is cut.

A condition for complying with the intended use is that the equipment is

installed correctly and the information in the manual is observed and

maintained.

Any use other than that described in Section "Intended Use" is considered

unintended use. Unauthorised modiﬁ cations or reconstructions are not

permitted and could cause damage to the universal lock.

Safety Instructions

Avoid any personal injury by paying attention to the following information!

WARNING! Risk of suocation and damage to health through

batteries! Children can swallow small parts, packaging and

protective foils. Keep the product and packaging out of reach of

children! Keep batteries out of reach of children. Do not swallow

batteries. If any type of battery is swallowed, seek medical

attention immediately.

CAUTION! Risk of damage to health and environmental pollution

through batteries! Improper handling of batteries can put your

health and the environment at risk. Never open, damage or

swallow batteries or allow them to pollute the environment.

Batteries may contain toxic, ecologically hazardous heavy metals.

CAUTION! Risk of hearing damage. The acoustic warning signal

from the universal lock could damage your hearing. The volume

of the acoustic alarm signal is up to 80 dB. Do not operate or test

Locking the Lock

On delivery, the lock combination is 0-0-0-0. Pull the steel cable out of the

lock housing to the required length. The steel cable has an overall length of

65 cm. The numbering in the illustration indicates the sequence in which to

lock the lock.

1. Press the Roll-Back button to release the

steel cable.

2. Pull the steel cable sufﬁ ciently far out of

the housing so that you can secure the

object at hand according to demands.

3. Fit the metal pin in the opening until the

pin audibly engages.

4. Change the combination for the lock in

order to secure the universal lock. We

recommend changing all the digits in the

combination.

Opening the Lock

Use the practical roll-back function provided by the universal lock. The steel

cable is automatically wound back in by pressing a button. The numbering in

the illustration indicates the sequence in which to open the lock.

1. Set the valid lock combination.

2. Press the button to release metal pin.

3. Pull the metal pin out of the universal

lock.

CAUTION! Risk of injury through

uncontrolled movement of the steel

cable. When you wind up the steel

cable, hold the steel cable ﬁ rmly to

prevent uncontrolled movements.

4. Press and hold the button to wind up the

steel cable.

Setting the Alarm Mode

If you use the universal lock in Alarm mode, the universal lock triggers a

loud, acoustic alarm signal when it is moved for a few seconds without au-

thorisation or the steel cable is cut. Alarm mode can only be activated when

batteries have been inserted and the lock is locked.

Setting the Sensitivity

If the sensitivity is set to low, the universal lock

issues an alarm when it is continually moved,

uninterrupted, for eight seconds.

1. Press and hold the button on the front un-

til you hear two acoustic tones. The lamp

indicator ﬂ ashes twice per second.

If the sensitivity is set to high, the universal

lock issues an alarm when it is continually

moved, uninterrupted, for four seconds.

2. Press and hold the button on the front un-

til you hear three acoustic tones. The lamp

indicator ﬂ ashes three times per second.

Setting the Lock Combination

On delivery, the lock combination is 0-0-0-0.

We recommend that you set the lock combina-

tion so that it is not possible for unauthorised

third-parties to determine the combination by

simple trial and error (e.g. 1-2-3-4 or 0-0-0-0).

The numbering in the illustration indicates the

sequence in which to set the lock combination.

1. Press and hold the button and press the

metal pin downwards into the housing.

The lock is now ready to set the combi-

nation.

2. Select the required digit combination and

then release the button. The new combi-

nation is set.

Changing the Batteries

The universal lock is powered by four batteries (LR44 round cell).

1. Open the lock.

2. Press the Roll-Back button and, at the

same time, slide the battery compart-

ment cover to the side.

3. Insert four batteries (LR44) in the battery

compartment. Pay attention that the bat-

teries are inserted the right way around.

4. Replace the battery compartment cover.

Disposal

In order to dispose of your device, take it to a collection point

provided by your local public waste authorities (e.g. recycling

centre). According to laws on the disposal of electronic and

electrical devices, owners are obliged to dispose of old electronic

and electrical devices in a separate waste container. The symbol

indicates that the device must not be disposed of in normal domestic waste!

Risks to health and the environment from batteries! Never open,

damage or swallow batteries or allow them to pollute the environment. They

may contain toxic, ecologically hazardous heavy metals. You are legally

obliged to dispose of batteries at shops which sell batteries or at collection

points provided by the public waste authorities. Disposal is free of charge.

The symbols indicate that the batteries must not be disposed of in normal

domestic waste and that they must be brought to collection points provided

by local public waste authorities.

Packaging materials must be disposed of according to local

regulations.

Care Instructions

■Clean the surface of the housing with a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use

any solvents or cleaning agents.

■Complete a function test once a month and after changing the batteries.

Utilisation conforme à l'usage prévu

Votre cadenas universel avec alarme sert à protéger des

objets tels que portails, ainsi qu'à protéger bicyclettes et

bagages contre une substitution suite à des vols. Le

cadenas universel déclenche un puissant signal acous-

tique lorsqu'il est bougé pendant quelques secondes sans

autorisation ou lorsque le câble en acier est sectionné. L'utilisation conforme

à l'usage prévu requiert un montage approprié ainsi que l'observation et le

respect des indications mentionnées dans le présent mode d'emploi.

Toute utilisation autre que celle décrite au point Utilisation conforme à

Verrouillage du cadenas

La combinaison à chires est 0-0-0-0 par défaut. Tirez le câble en acier du

boîtier de votre cadenas à la longueur nécessitée. Le câble a une longueur

de 65 cm. Les chires indiqués dans l'illustration vous montrent l'ordre de

verrouillage du cadenas.

1. Appuyez sur la touche Roll-Back pour

libérer le câble.

2. Tirez le câble du boîtier de la longueur

adéquate pour que l'objet puisse être

protéger comme vous le souhaitez.

3. Introduisez la pointe métallique dans

l'oriﬁ ce jusqu'à ce que vous entendiez

qu'elle s'enclenche.

4. Pour des raisons de sécurité, modiﬁ ez la

combinaison à chires. Nous recomman-

dons de modiﬁ er tous les chiffres de la

combinaison.

Ouvrir le cadenas

Proﬁ tez de la fonction Roll-Back très pratique de votre cadenas. Le câble

en acier s'enroule automatiquement si vous appuyez sur la touche. Les

chires indiqués dans l'illustration vous montrent l'ordre de déverrouillage

du cadenas.

1. Réglez la combinaison choisie.

2. Appuyez sur la touche pour déverrouiller

la pointe métallique.

3. Retirez celle-ci du cadenas.

P RUDENCE ! Risque de blessures

dû à des mouvements incontrôlés

du câble. Lorsque vous l'enroulez,

tenez-le bien fermement pour

éviter des mouvements incontrôlés.

4. Appuyez longuement sur la touche pour

enrouler le câble.

Régler le mode alarme

Si vous utilisez le cadenas universel en mode alarme, ce dernier dé-

clenche un puissant signal acoustique lorsqu'il est bougé pendant quelques

secondes sans autorisation ou lorsque le câble en acier est sectionné. Le

mode alarme ne peut être activé que si les piles sont insérées et le cadenas

verrouillé.

Régler la sensibilité

Dans le cas d'une faible sensibilité, le cadenas

déclenche une alarme s'il est bougé de ma-

nière continue pendant huit secondes.

1. Appuyez longuement sur le bouton situé

sur la face avant jusqu'à ce que vous

entendiez deux bips. Le voyant clignote

deux fois par seconde.

Dans le cas d'une plus grande sensibilité, le

cadenas déclenche une alarme s'il est bougé

de manière continue pendant quatre secondes.

2. Appuyez longuement sur le bouton situé

sur la face avant jusqu'à ce que vous

entendiez trois bips. Le voyant clignote

trois fois par seconde.

Régler la combinaison à chires

La combinaison à chires est 0-0-0-0 par

défaut. Nous vous recommandons de régler la

combinaison de telle sorte qu'une tierce per-

sonne non autorisée ne puisse pas la trouver

en essayant tout simplement des combinai-

sons trop faciles (par ex. 1-2-3-4 ou 0-0-0-0).

Les chires indiqués dans l'illustration vous

montrent comment régler la combinaison.

1. Appuyez longuement sur la touche et ren-

trez la pointe métallique en la poussant

vers le bas. Le cadenas est débloqué

pour un réglage de la combinaison.

2. Choisissez une combinaison de votre

choix et relâchez la touche. La nouvelle

combinaison est réglée.

Changer les piles

Votre cadenas est alimenté en courant par

quatre piles LR44.

1. Ouvrez le cadenas.

2. Appuyez sur la touche Roll-Back et

poussez en même temps le cache-piles

sur le côté.

3. Placez quatre piles dans leur com-

partiment. Assurez-vous de la polarité

exacte.

4. Reposez le cache.

Si vous ne voulez plus vous servir de votre appareil,

veuillez l'apporter au centre de collecte de l'orga-

nisme d'élimination des déchets de votre commune

(par ex. centre de recyclage). D'après la loi relative

aux appareils électriques et électroniques, les

propriétaires d'appareils usagés sont tenus d'apporter tous les anciens

appareils électriques et électroniques dans un collecteur séparé. L'icône

ci-contre signiﬁ e que vous ne devez en aucun cas jeter votre appareil dans

les ordures ménagères ! Mise en danger de l'homme et pollution de

l'environnement causées par les piles ! Ne jamais ouvrir, endommager,

avaler les piles ou ne jamais faire pénétrer leur contenu dans l'environne-

ment. Elles peuvent contenir des métaux lourds toxiques et nuisibles pour

celui-ci. Vous êtes tenu par la loi d’éliminer les piles en les déposant chez

un revendeur ou en les déposant dans les collecteurs correspondants de

l’organisme d’élimination des déchets local. Leur élimination est gratuite.

Ces symboles signiﬁ ent que vous ne devez en aucun cas jeter les piles

dans les ordures ménagères, mais que vous devez les apporter à un centre

de collecte.

Éliminez les matériaux d'emballage conformément au règlement

local.

Conseils d'entretien

■Nettoyez la surface du boîtier avec un chion doux et non pelucheux.

N'utilisez pas de produits d'entretien ni de solvants.

■Eectuez un contrôle de fonctionnement 1 fois par mois et après chaque

changement des piles.
