SPECIAL CORD SET INSTRUCTIONS
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulng from becoming entangled
in or tripping over a longer cord. Longer extension cords are available and may be used if
care is exercised in their use. If a long extension cord is used, the marked electrical rang of
the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rang of the appliance, and
the longer should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop
where it can be polled on by children or animals, or tripped over.
PARTS IDENTIFICATION
BEFORE FIRST-TIME USE
• Read all instrucons carefully and keep them for future reference.
• Remove all packaging
• Clean the Cooking Plates by wiping a sponge or cloth dampened in warm water.
DO NOT IMMERSE THE UNIT AND DO NOT RUN WATER DIRECTLY ONT THE COOKING SURFACES
• Dry with a cloth or paper towel.
• For best results, lightly coat the cooking plates with a little cooking oil or cooking spray.
Noce: When your Pizza Maker is heated for the rst me, it may emit slight smoke or
odor. This is normal with many heang appliances. This does not aect the safety of your
appliance.
HOW TO USE
Before using the appliance for the rst me, peel o any promoonal materials and
packaging materials, and check that the cooking plates are clean and free of dust. If
necessary, wipe over with a damp cloth. For best results, pour a teaspoon of vegetable oil on
to the non-sck plates. Spread over with an absorbent kitchen towel and wipe o any excess
oil. When your Pizza Maker is heated for the rst me, it may emit slight smoke or odor. This
is normal with many heang appliances. This does not aect the safety of your appliance.
PREPARATION
• Pre-heat the Pizza Maker by setng the temperature control to the maximum setng.
• Close the Pizza Maker and plug it into the wall outlet, you will noce that the red power
light will go on, indicang that the Pizza Maker has begun preheang. It will take
approximately 5 minutes to reach baking temperature. The red power light will remain on
unl you unplug your Pizza Maker. When the green light goes o, the Pizza Maker is ready for
use.
