PA Ceiling Speaker

These instructions are intended for installers

with sufﬁcient knowledge of 100 V technology

for PA applications. Please read the instructions

carefully prior to installation and keep them for

later reference.

1 Applications

This speaker has been specially designed for applica-

tions in PA systems. It is equipped with a transformer

for operation at 100 V systems. The connected load

is matched via selection of the terminals. As a high-

quality two-way system with dome tweeter, the

speaker is suitable for reproducing speech and

music. It can be moved in its support and can thus

be aligned. The speaker is made of ABS. It is self-ex-

tinguishing according to the ﬂammability standard

UL 94 V-0.

2 Important Notes

The speaker corresponds to all relevant directives of

the EU and is therefore marked with .

The speaker corresponds to the relevant UK legisla-

tion and is therefore marked with .UKCA

•

The speaker is suitable for indoor use only. Protect

it against dripping water, splash water, high air

humidity and heat (admissible ambient tempera-

ture range 0 – 40 °C).

•

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use

chemicals or water.

•

No guarantee claims for the speaker and no liabil-

ity for any resulting personal damage or material

damage will be accepted if the speaker is used for

other purposes than originally intended, if it is not

correctly connected or if it is overloaded.

If the speaker is to be put out of oper-

ation deﬁnitively, dispose of the speaker in

accordance with local regulations.

3 Mounting

1) Saw a hole of 260 mm diameter into the ceiling.

2) Make the electrical connection (chapter 4).

3) Remove the four screw covers (3) and turn the

four retaining brackets (2) inwards.

4) Insert the speaker into the ceiling opening.

Tighten the screw to clamp the speaker to the

ceiling. Replace the screw covers.

5) While in operation, align the speaker to the

desired PA zone.

4 Electrical Connection

WARNING During operation, there is a hazard of

contact with a dangerous voltage of

up to 100 V at the connection cable.

Installation must be carried out by

skilled personnel only.

Observe the load of the PA ampliﬁer by the

speakers. An overload may damage the ampliﬁer!

The total load of all speakers connected must not

exceed the ampliﬁer power.

1) Before installing the speaker, switch off the PA

ampliﬁer so that the speaker cable will not carry

any voltage!

2) Connect the speaker: Connect the terminals (1)

for the desired rated power (☞table) to the 100 V

output of the ampliﬁer.

3) When connecting several speakers, make sure

that all speakers have the same polarity (e. g. black

terminal = negative pole) and that the ampliﬁer is

not overloaded.

ELA-Deckenlautsprecher

Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Installateure mit

Fachkenntnissen in der 100-V-Beschallungstech-

nik. Bitte lesen Sie die Anleitung vor der Instal-

lation gründlich durch und heben Sie sie für ein

späteres Nachlesen auf.

1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten

Dieser Lautsprecher ist speziell für den Einsatz in

ELA-Anlagen konzipiert. Er ist mit einem Übertrager

für den Betrieb an 100-V-Anlagen ausgestattet. Die

Anpassung der Anschlussleistung erfolgt über die

Auswahl der Anschlussklemmen. Als hochwertiges

2-Wege-System mit Kalottenhochtöner ist der Laut-

sprecher für Sprach- und Musikwiedergabe geeig-

net. Er ist in seiner Halterung schwenkbar und lässt

sich dadurch ausrichten. Das Gehäuse besteht aus

ABS-Kunststoff und ist entsprechend der Brennbar-

keitsklasse UL 94 V-0 selbstlöschend.

2 Wichtige Hinweise

Der Lautsprecher entspricht allen relevanten Richt-

linien der EU und trägt deshalb das -Zeichen.

•

Der Lautsprecher ist nur zur Verwendung im Innen-

bereich geeignet. Schützen Sie ihn vor Tropf- und

Spritzwasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zu-

lässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).

•

Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes,

weiches Tuch, niemals Wasser oder Chemikalien.

•

Wird der Lautsprecher zweckentfremdet, nicht

fachgerecht angeschlossen oder überlastet, kann

keine Haftung für daraus resultierende Sach- oder

Personenschäden und keine Garantie für den Laut-

sprecher übernommen werden.

Soll der Lautsprecher endgültig aus dem

Betrieb genommen werden, entsorgen Sie

ihn gemäß den örtlichen Vor schriften.

3 Montage

1) In die Decke ein Loch mit 260 mm Durchmesser

sägen.

2) Den elektrischen Anschluss herstellen (Kapitel4).

3) Die vier Schraubenabdeckungen (3) abnehmen

und die vier Haltewinkel (2) nach innen drehen.

4) Den Lautsprecher in die Deckenöffnung einsetzen

und durch Anziehen der Schrauben den Lautspre-

cher an der Decke festklemmen. Die Schrauben-

abdeckungen wieder aufstecken.

5) Den Lautsprecher im Betrieb auf den gewünschten

Beschallungsbereich ausrichten.

4 Elektrischer Anschluss

WARNUNG Im Betrieb liegt berührungsgefährli-

che Spannung bis 100 V an der An-

schlussleitung an. Die Installation darf

nur durch Fachpersonal erfolgen.

Achten Sie auf die Belastung des ELA-Verstärkers

durch die Lautsprecher. Eine Überlastung kann den

Verstärker beschädigen! Die Summe der Leistun-

gen aller angeschlossenen Lautsprecher darf die

Verstärkerleistung nicht überschreiten.

1) Vor der Installation des Lautsprechers den ELA-Ver-

stärker ausschalten, damit die Laut sprecherleitung

spannungsfrei ist!

2) Den Lautsprecher anschließen: Die Anschluss-

klemmen (1) für die gewünschte Nennleistung

(☞Tabelle) mit dem 100-V-Ausgang des Verstär-

kers verbinden.

3) Beim Anschluss von mehreren Lautsprechern da-

rauf achten, dass die Lautsprecher alle gleich ge-

polt werden (z. B. schwarze Klemme = Minuspol)

und dass der Verstärker nicht überlastet wird.

Diffusore PA da sofﬁtto

Queste istruzioni sono rivolte agli installatori che

possiedono delle conoscenze speciﬁche sufﬁcien-

ti della tecnica di sonorizzazione a 100 V. Vi pre-

ghiamo di leggerle attentamente prima dell’in-

stallazione e di conservarle per un uso futuro.

1 Possibilità d’impiego

Questo diffusore è stato realizzato in modo parti-

colare per l’impiego in impianti PA. È equipaggiato

con un trasformatore per impianti con uscita audio

a 100 V. L’adattamento alla potenza di connessione

avviene per mezzo della scelta dei morsetti di connes-

sione. Come sistema di qualità a 2 vie con tweeter

a cupola, il diffusore si appresta per la riproduzione

della lingua parlata e della musica. È girevole nel suo

supporto per essere orientato secondo necessità. La

cassa è fatta di plastica ABS ed è autoestinguente

secondo la classe UL 94 V-0.

2 Note importanti

Il diffusore è conforme a tutte le direttive rilevanti

dell’UE e pertanto porta la sigla .

•

Il diffusore è previsto solo per l’uso all’interno di

locali. Proteggerlo dall’acqua gocciolante e dagli

spruzzi d’acqua, da alta umidità dell’aria e dal calo-

re (temperatura d’impiego ammessa fra 0 e 40 °C).

•

Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido, asciut-

to; non impiegare in nessun caso prodotti chimici

o acqua.

•

Nel caso d’uso improprio, di collegamenti sbagliati

o di sovraccarico dell’altoparlante, non si assume

nessuna responsabilità per eventuali danni conse-

quenziali a persone o a cose e non si assume nes-

suna garanzia per il diffusore.

Se il diffusore deve essere messo deﬁnitiva-

mente fuori servizio, smaltire il diffusore in

conformità con le normative locali.

3 Montaggio

1) Praticare nel sofﬁtto un’apertura con un diametro

di 260 mm.

2) Eseguire il collegamento elettrico (cap. 4).

3) Togliere le quattro coperture delle viti (3) e girare i

quattro angoli di sostegno (2) verso l’interno.

4) Inserire il diffusore nell’apertura nel sofﬁtto e

ﬁssarlo stringendo le viti. Rimettere le coperture

delle viti.

5) Far funzionare il diffusore e orientarlo secondo la

zona da sonorizzare.

4 Collegamento elettrico

AVVERTIMENTO Durante il funzionamento, nel

cavo di collegamento è presente

una tensione pericolosa al con-

tatto ﬁno a 100 V. L’installazione

deve essere fatta solo da perso-

nale specializzato.

Tener presente il carico dell’ampliﬁcatore PA da

parte degli altoparlanti. Un sovraccarico può dan-

neggiare l’ampliﬁcatore! La somma delle potenze di

tutti gli altoparlanti collegati non deve superare la

potenza dell’ampliﬁcatore.

1) Prima di installare il diffusore spegnere l’ampliﬁ-

catore PA per togliere la tensione dal cavo verso

il diffusore!

2) Collegare il diffusore: i morsetti (1) per la potenza

nominale desiderata (☞ tabella) con l’uscita 100 V

dell’ampliﬁcatore.

3) Nel caso di collegamento di più diffusori fare

attenzione all’identica polarità di tutti i diffusori

(p. es. morsetto nero = polo negativo) e di non

sovraccaricare l’ampliﬁcatore.

dant des connaissances sufﬁsantes en technique

de sonorisation ligne 100 V. Veuillez lire la pré-

sente notice avec attention avant l’installation et

conservez-la pour pouvoir vous y reporter ulté-

rieurement.

1 Possibilités d’utilisation

Ce haut-parleur est spécialement conçu pour une uti-

lisation dans des installations de Public Adress. Il est

équipé d’un transformateur pour un fonctionnement

dans des installations 100 V. L’adaptation de la puis-

sance de branchement s’effectue en sélectionnant

les bornes de branchement. Le haut-parleur est un

système 2 voies de grande qualité avec haut-parleur

d’aigu à dôme et est adapté pour une restitution de

parole et de musique. Il est inclinable dans son sup-

port et peut donc être orienté. Le corps en ABS est

auto-extinguible selon les normes d’inﬂammabilité

UL 94 V-0.

2 Conseils importants

Le haut-parleur répond à toutes les directives néces-

saires de l’Union européenne et porte donc le sym-

bole .

•

Le haut-parleur n’est conçu que pour une utilisa-

tion en intérieur. Protégez-le de tout type de pro-

jections d’eau, des éclaboussures, d’une humidité

d’air élevée et de la chaleur (plage de température

de fonctionnement autorisée : 0 – 40 °C).

•

Pour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un chiffon

sec et doux, en aucun cas de produits chimiques

ou d’eau.

•

Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dom-

mages matériels ou corporels résultants si le haut-

parleur est utilisé dans un but autre que celui pour

lequel il a été conçu, s’il n’est pas correctement

branché ou s’il y a surcharge; en outre, la garantie

deviendrait caduque.

Lorsque le haut-parleur est déﬁnitivement

retiré du service, éliminez-le conformé-

ment aux directives locales.

3 Montage

1) Découpez dans le plafond un trou de diamètre

260 mm.

2) Effectuez le branchement électrique (chapitre 4).

3) Retirez les quatre couvercles des vis (3) et tournez

vers l’intérieur les quatre étriers de maintien (2).

4) Faites passer le haut-parleur dans l’ouverture du

plafond et ﬁxez le haut-parleur au plafond en ser-

rant les vis. Replacez les couvercles des vis.

5) -Orientez le haut-parleur sur la zone de sonorisa

tion souhaitée pendant le fonctionnement.

4 Branchement électrique

AVERTISSEMENT

Pendant le fonctionnement, une

tension de contact dangereuse

jusqu’à 100 V est présente au câble

de branchement. Seul un personnel

qualiﬁé peut effectuer l’installation.

Faites attention à la charge de l’ampliﬁcateur PA

par les haut-parleurs. Une surcharge peut endom-

mager l’ampliﬁcateur ! La somme des puissances

de l’ensemble des haut-parleurs reliés ne doit pas

dépasser la puissance de l’ampliﬁcateur.

1) Avant d’installer le haut-parleur, éteignez l’am-

pliﬁcateur Public Adress pour que le câble haut-

parleur ne soit pas porteur de tension.

2) -Reliez le haut-parleur : reliez les bornes de bran

chement (1) pour la puissance nominale souhaitée

(☞tableau) à la sortie 100 V de l’ampliﬁcateur.

3) Si plusieurs haut-parleurs sont branchés, veillez à

ce que les haut-parleurs aient tous la même pola-

rité (p. ex. borne noire = pôle moins) et que l’am-

pliﬁcateur ne soit pas en surcharge.

Głośnik suﬁtowy PA

Niniejsza instrukcja przeznaczona jest instalato-

rów posiadających wiedzę w zakresie systemów

PA pracujących w technice 100 V. Przed rozpo-

częciem użytkowania proszę zapoznać się z

instrukcją, a następnie zachować ją do wglądu.

1 Zastosowanie

Głośnik ten przeznaczony jest do zastosowania w

systemach PA, został wyposażony w transformator

do pracy w technice 100 V. Wymaganą moc głośnika

można wybrać za pomocą zacisków. Wysokiej ja-

kości system dwudrożny z kopułkowym głośnikiem

wysokotonowym przystosowany jest do muzyki oraz

komunikatów. Łatwa regulacja ustawienia głośnika.

Obudowa wykonana jest z tworzywa sztucznego

ABS samogasnącego, zgodnie z normą UL 94 V-0.

2 Bezpieczeństwo użytkowania

Ponieważ głośnik spełnia wymogi norm obowiązu-

jących w Unii Europejskiej, został oznaczony sym-

bolem .

•

Urządzenie jest przeznaczone do użytku jedynie

wewnątrz pomieszczeń. Należy chronić je przed

bezpośrednim kontaktem z wodą i działaniem wil-

goci, bardzo niskiej bądź bardzo wysokiej tempe-

ratury (dopuszczalny zakres temperatury otoczenia

pracy: 0 – 40 ºC).

•

Do czyszczenia urządzenia należy używać suchej,

miękkiej tkaniny; nie wolno stosować wody ani

chemicznych środków czyszczących.

•

Producent ani dostawca nie ponoszą odpowiedzial-

ności za wynikłe szkody (uszkodzenie sprzętu lub

obrażenia użytkownika), jeśli urządzenie używano

niezgodnie z przeznaczeniem, nieprawidłowo pod-

łączono bądź nastąpiło przeciążenie urządzenia.

Po całkowitym zakończeniu eksploatacji

głośnik należy oddać do punktu utylizacji

odpadów.

3 Montaż

1) Należy wyciąć w suﬁcie otwór o średnicy 260 mm.

2) Należy podłączyć głośnik (rozdział 4).

3) Zdjąć cztery osłony śrub (3), następnie przekręcić

do środka cztery uchwyty mocujące (2).

4) -Należy wprowadzić głośnik do otworu suﬁto

wego, dokręcić śruby i zablokować głośnik w

otworze, następnie założyć osłony śrub.

5) Podczas pracy głośnika można ustawić go w

żądanej pozycji.

4 Podłączenie

UWAGA Podczas pracy urządzenia na przyłą-

czu linii występuje napięcie osiągają-

ce do 100 V, które stanowi potencjal-

ne zagrożenie dla zdrowia lub życia.

Podłączenie urządzenia należy zlecić

specjaliście.

Należy zwrócić uwagę na odpowiedni dobór mocy

głośników do mocy wzmacniacza. Przeciążenie

może spowodować uszkodzenie wzmacniacza PA!

Sumaryczna moc wszystkich podłączonych głośni-

ków nie może przekraczać mocy wzmacniacza.

1) Przed przystąpieniem do podłączania głośników

należy wyłączyć wzmacniacz PA, aby kabel głośni-

kowy nie znajdował się pod napięciem!

2) Należy podłączyć głośnik: z wyjściem 100 V

wzmacniacza połączyć zaciski (1) odpowiednie

dla wymaganej mocy (

☞tabela).

3) -Przy podłączaniu kilku głośników należy się upew

nić, czy wszystkie głośniki mają odpowiednią bie-

gunowość (np. czarny zacisk = biegun ujemny) i

czy wzmacniacz nie został przeciążony.

Estas instrucciones van dirigidas a instaladores

con un conocimiento suﬁciente sobre la tecno-

logía de 100 V en aplicaciones para megafonía.

Lea atentamente estas instrucciones antes de la

instalación y guárdelas para usos posteriores.

1 Aplicaciones

Este altavoz p3-ha sido especialmente diseñado para

aplicaciones en sistemas de megafonía. Está equi-

pado con un transformador para el funcionamiento

en sistemas de 100 V. La carga conectada se adecua

mediante la selección de los terminales. Como un

sistema de dos vías de alta calidad con tweeter de

cúpula, el altavoz está indicado para la reproducción

de habla y música. Se puede mover en su soporte y

por tanto se puede orientar. El altavoz está hecho de

plástico ABS. Es autoextinguible de acuerdo con los

estándares de inﬂamabilidad UL 94 V-0.

2 Notas importantes

El altavoz cumple con todas las directivas relevantes

de laUE y por ello está marcado con .

•

El altavoz sólo está indicado para un uso en inte-

rior. Protéjalo de goteos y salpicaduras de agua,

humedad elevada del aire y de temperaturas ex-

tremas (gama de temperatura ambiente admisible

0 – 40 °C).

•

Para limpiar utilice sólo un paño seco y suave, no

utilice nunca productos químicos o agua.

•

No podrá reclamarse garantía o responsabilidad

alguna por cualquier daño personal o material

resultante si el altavoz se utiliza para otros ﬁnes

diferentes a los originalmente concebidos, si no se

conecta adecuadamente o si se sobrecarga.

Si el altavoz se va a dejar fuera de servi-

cio deﬁnitivamente, deshágase del altavoz

según las normativas locales.

3 Montaje

1) Disponga un agujero de 260 mm de diámetro en

el techo.

2) Haga la conexión eléctrica (capítulo 4).

3) Saque las cuatro cubiertas de tornillo (3) y gire los

cuatro soportes de sujeción (2) hacia dentro.

4) -Inserte el altavoz en la abertura de techo y, ten

sando los tornillos, sujete el altavoz ﬁrmemente al

techo. Vuelva a montar las cubiertas de tornillo.

5) Durante el funcionamiento, oriente el altavoz

hacia la zona de megafonía deseada.

4 Conexión eléctrica

ADVERTENCIA Durante el funcionamiento, hay pe-

ligro de contacto con un voltaje de

hasta 100 V en el cable de altavoz.

Sólo un técnico debe realizar la ins-

talación.

Preste atención a la carga del ampliﬁcador de

megafonía con los altavoces. ¡Una sobrecarga

podría dañar el ampliﬁcador! La carga total de

todos los altavoces conectados no puede exceder

la potencia del ampliﬁcador.

1) -¡Desconecte el sistema de megafonía antes de ins

talar el altavoz, de modo que el cable de altavoz

no contenga ningún voltaje!

2) Conecte el altavoz: Conecte los terminales (1) para

la potencia de régimen deseada (☞tabla) a la

salida 100 V del ampliﬁcador.

3) Cuando conecte varios altavoces, asegúrese de

que todos los altavoces tienen la misma polaridad

(p. ej. terminal negro = polo negativo) y de que el

ampliﬁcador no está sobrecargado.
