PA Ceiling Speaker

These instructions are intended for installers

with sufﬁcient knowledge of 100 V technology

for PA applications. Please read the instructions

carefully prior to installation and keep them for

later reference.

1 Applications

This speaker with EN 54-24 certiﬁcation has been

approved for voice alarm systems. In case of ﬁre, the

closed housing (ﬁre dome) will restrict the spread of

ﬁre. For operation in 100 V systems, an audio trans-

former has been integrated.

2 Safety Notes

The speaker corresponds to all relevant directives of

the EU and is therefore marked with .

•

The speaker is suitable for indoor use only. Protect

it against dripping water and splash water, high air

humidity and heat (admissible ambient tempera-

ture range 0 – 40 °C).

•

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use

chemicals or water.

•

No guarantee claims for the speaker and no liabil-

ity for any resulting personal damage or material

dam age will be accepted if the speaker is used

for other purposes than originally intended, if it

is not correctly installed or connected, or if it is

overloaded.

If the speaker is to be put out of opera-

tion deﬁnitely, dispose of the speaker in

accordance with local regulations.

3 Installation

WARNING During operation, there is a haz-

ard of contact with a voltage of up

to 100 V at the connection cable.

Installation must be carried out by

skilled personnel only.

Observe to the load of the PA ampliﬁer by the

speakers. An overload will damage the PA ampli-

ﬁer! The total power of all speakers connected

must not exceed the ampliﬁer power.

1) Completely switch off the PA system before in-

stalling the speaker so that the speaker cables will

not carry any voltage!

2) Saw a cutout with a diameter of 180 mm into the

ceiling.

3) Unscrew the housing cover to gain access to the

connections.

4) In the factory, the speaker has been set to the

highest power rating (see speciﬁcations). To re-

duce the power rating (volume), disconnect the

red wire from the plug-in contact and connect it

to the contact providing the desired power rating.

5) Pull the connection cable for the speaker through

one of the grommets of the cover and connect it

to the terminal block. When connecting multiple

speakers, make sure that all speakers have the

same polarity.

6) Fasten the housing cover using screws.

7) Fold up the three spring clips of the speaker and

carefully push the speaker into the ceiling cutout.

Once the spring clips are released, they will secure

the speaker on the ceiling.

Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Installateure mit

Fachkenntnissen in der 100-V-Beschallungs-

technik. Bitte lesen Sie die Anleitung vor der

Installation gründlich durch und heben Sie sie

für ein späteres Nachlesen auf.

1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten

Der Lautsprecher mit Zertiﬁzierung nach EN 54-24

ist für den Einsatz in Sprachalarmierungsanlagen

zugelassen. Das ge schlossene Gehäuse (Feuertopf)

erschwert im Brandfall eine Ausbreitung des Feuers.

Für den Betrieb in 100-V-Anlagen ist ein Audiotrans-

formator vorgeschaltet.

2 Sicherheitshinweise

Der Lautsprecher entspricht allen relevanten Richt-

linien der EU und trägt deshalb das Zeichen.

•

Der Lautsprecher ist nur zur Verwendung im In-

nenbereich geeignet. Schützen Sie ihn vor Tropf-

und Spritzwasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze

(zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).

•

Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trocke-

nes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Chemikalien

oder Wasser.

•

Wird der Lautsprecher zweckentfremdet, nicht

fachgerecht montiert, falsch angeschlossen oder

überlastet, kann keine Haftung für daraus resultie-

rende Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine Ga-

rantie für den Lautsprecher übernommen werden.

Soll der Lautsprecher endgültig aus dem

Betrieb genommen werden, entsorgen Sie

ihn gemäß den örtlichen Vor schriften.

3 Installation

WARNUNG Im Betrieb liegt berührungsgefähr-

liche Spannung bis 100 V an der

Anschlussleitung an. Die Installa-

tion darf nur durch Fachpersonal

erfolgen.

Achten Sie auf die Belastung des ELA-Verstärkers

durch die Lautsprecher. Eine Überlastung kann den

Verstärker beschädigen! Die Summe der Leistun-

gen aller angeschlossenen Lautsprecher darf die

Verstärkerleistung nicht überschreiten.

1) Vor der Installation des Lautsprechers die ELA-

Anlage komplett ausschalten, damit die Lautspre-

cherleitungen spannungsfrei sind!

2) In die Decke ein Loch mit einem Durchmesser von

180 mm sägen.

3) -Den Gehäusedeckel abschrauben, sodass die An

schlüsse zugängig sind.

4) Ab Werk ist der Lautsprecher auf die größte Nenn-

belastbarkeit eingestellt (siehe Technische Daten).

Für eine geringere Nennbelastung (Lautstärke) am

Audiotransformator die rote Leitung vom Steck-

kontakt abziehen und auf den Kontakt stecken,

mit dem die gewünschte Nennbelastung erreicht

wird.

5) Das Anschlusskabel für den Lautsprecher durch

eine der Kabeldurchführungen des Deckels zie-

hen und mit dem Klemmenblock verbinden. Beim

Anschluss von mehreren Lautsprechern darauf

achten, dass die Lautsprecher alle gleich gepolt

werden.

6) Den Gehäusedeckel wieder festschrauben.

7) Die drei Klemmarme des Lautsprechers nach oben

klappen. Den Lautsprecher mit leichtem Druck in

die Deckenöffnung einsetzen, bis die Klemmarme

umgeklappt sind und den Lautsprecher an der

Decke festklemmen.

Diffusore PA da sofﬁtto

Queste istruzioni sono rivolte agli installatori che

possiedono delle conoscenze speciﬁche sufﬁcienti

della tecnica di sonorizzazione a 100 V. Vi pre-

ghiamo di leggerle attentamente prima dell’in-

stallazione e di conservarle per un uso futuro.

1 Possibilità d’impiego

Il diffusore con certiﬁcazione secondo EN 54-24 è

omologato per l‘impiego in impianti d‘allarme via

voce. Il contenitore chiuso (calotta antincendio)

ostacola l‘estensione del fuoco in caso d‘incendio.

Per il funzionamento in impianti 100 V è presente un

trasformatore audio.

2 Avvertenze di sicurezza

Il diffusore è conforme a tutte le direttive rilevanti

dell’UE e pertanto porta la sigla .

•

Il diffusore è previsto solo per l’uso all’interno di

locali. Proteggerlo dall’acqua gocciolante e dagli

spruzzi d’acqua, da alta umidità dell’aria e dal calore

(temperatura d’impiego ammessa fra 0e 40 °C).

•

Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido,

asciutto; non impiegare in nessun caso prodotti

chimici o acqua.

•

Nel caso d’uso improprio, di montaggio sbagliato,

di collegamenti sbagliati o di sovraccarico dell’alto-

parlante, non si assume nessuna responsabilità per

eventuali danni consequenziali a persone o a cose

e non si assume nessuna garanzia per il diffusore.

Se si desidera eliminare il diffusore deﬁniti-

vamente, consegnarlo per lo smaltimento

ad un’istituzione locale per il riciclaggio.

3 Installazione

AVVERTIMENTO Durante il funzionamento, al cavo

di collegamento è presente una

tensione pericolosa ﬁno a 100 V.

L’installazione deve essere fatta

solo da personale qualiﬁcato.

Fare attenzione al carico che gli altoparlanti eser-

citano sull’ampliﬁcatore PA. Un sovraccarico può

danneggiare l’ampliﬁcatore! La somma delle po-

tenze di tutti gli altoparlanti collegati non deve

superare la potenza dell’ampliﬁcatore.

1) Prima dell‘installazione del diffusore spegnere

completamente l‘impianto PA per togliere la ten-

sione dai cavi del diffusore!

2) Nel sofﬁtto, applicare un foro con diametro di

180 mm.

3) Svitare il coperchio del contenitore per rendere

accessibili i collegamenti.

4) Dalla fabbrica, sul diffusore è impostata la po-

tenza nominale maggiore (vedi Dati tecnici). Per

una potenza nominale (volume) minore, sul tra-

sformatore audio staccare il cavetto rosso dal pin

e inserirlo nel contatto che permette la potenza

nominale desiderata.

5) Far passare il cavo di collegamento del diffusore

attraverso uno dei passacavi del coperchio e col-

legarlo con la morsettiera. Se si collegando più

diffusori fare attenzione che tutti i diffusori siano

con la medesima polarità.

6) Riavvitare il coperchio del contenitore.

7) Piegare in alto i tre bracci con molle. Inserire il

diffusore nell‘apertura del sofﬁtto esercitando una

leggera pressione, ﬁnché i bracci si chiudono ﬁs-

sando il diffusore al sofﬁtto.

Cette notice s’adresse aux installateurs possé-

dant des connaissances sufﬁsantes en technique

de sonorisation ligne 100 V. Veuillez lire la pré-

sente notice avec attention avant l‘installation

et conservez-la pour pouvoir vous y reporter

ultérieurement.

1 Possibilités d’utilisation

Le haut-parleur avec certiﬁcation EN 54-24 est au-

torisé pour une utilisation dans des installations

d’alarme vocale. Le boîtier clos (dôme ignifugé)

réduit l’extension du feu en cas d’incendie. Pour

un fonctionnement dans des installations 100 V, un

transformateur audio est intégré.

2 Conseils de sécurité

Le haut-parleur répond à toutes les directives néces-

saires de l’Union Européenne et porte donc le sym-

bole .

•

Le haut-parleur n’est conçu que pour une utilisa-

tion en intérieur. Protégez-le de tout type de pro-

jections d’eau, des éclaboussures, d’une humidité

d’air élevée et de la chaleur (plage de température

de fonctionnement autorisée : 0 – 40 °C).

•

Pour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un chiffon

sec et doux, en aucun cas de produits chimiques

ou d’eau.

•

Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de

dommages matériels ou corporels résultants si le

haut-parleur est utilisé dans un but autre que celui

pour lequel il a été conçu, s’il n’est pas correcte-

ment installé ou branché, ou s’il y a surcharge ; en

outre, la garantie deviendrait caduque.

Lorsque le haut-parleur est déﬁnitivement

retiré du service, éliminez-le conformé-

ment aux directives locales.

3 Installation

AVERTISSEMENT

Pendant le fonctionnement, une

tension de contact dangereuse

jusqu’à 100 V est présente au câble

de connexion. Seul un personnel

qualiﬁé peut effectuer l’installation.

Faites attention à la charge de l’ampliﬁcateur Public

Adress par les haut-parleurs. Une surcharge peut

l’endommager ! La somme des puissance de tous

les haut-parleurs reliés ne doit pas dépasser la puis-

sance de l’ampliﬁcateur.

1) Avant d‘installer le haut-parleur, éteignez com-

plètement l‘installation Public Adress pour que

les câbles haut-parleur ne soient pas porteurs de

tension !

2) Percez dans le plafond un trou de diamètre

180 mm.

3) Dévissez le couvercle du boîtier pour accéder aux

branchements.

4) En usine, le haut-parleur est réglé sur la plus

grande puissance nominale (voir caractéristiques

techniques). Pour une puissance nominale (vo-

lume) plus faible, débranchez sur le transforma-

teur audio le câble rouge du contact et reliez-le

au contact correspondant à la puissance nominale

souhaitée.

5) Faites passer le câble de branchement pour le

haut-parleur via un des passages de câble du cou-

vercle et reliez-le à la barrette de branchement.

Si vous branchez plusieurs haut-parleurs, assu-

rez-vous que les haut-parleurs aient tous la même

polarité.

6) Revissez le couvercle du boîtier.

7) Dépliez vers le haut les trois clips à ressort du haut-

parleur. Faites passer le haut-parleur dans l’ouver-

ture du plafond avec un peu de pression. Une fois

les ressorts relâchés, le haut-parleur est maintenu

dans le plafond.

Głośnik suﬁtowy PA

Niniejsza instrukcja przeznaczona jest instalato-

rów posiadających wiedzę w zakresie systemów

PA pracujących w technice 100 V. Przed rozpo-

częciem użytkowania proszę zapoznać się z

instrukcją, a następnie zachować ją do wglądu.

1 Zastosowanie

Niniejszy podwójny głośnik posiada certyﬁkat zgod-

ności z normą EN 54-24 i przeznaczony jest do pracy

w systemach alarmu głosowego. W przypadku

wystąpienia pożaru, zamknięta obudowa (przeci-

wogniowa) zabezpiecza przed rozprzestrzenianiem

się ognia. Głośnik wyposażony jest w transforma-

tor audio co pozwala na zastosowanie go w syste-

mach100 V.

2 Bezpieczeństwo użytkowania

Urządzenie spełnia wymogi dyrektyw obowiązują-

cych w Unii Europejskiej, posiada więc oznaczenie .

•

Głośnik przeznaczony jest tylko do zastosowań

wewnętrznych. Należy chronić go przez wodą,

dużą wilgotnością oraz wysokimi temperaturami

(dopuszczalny zakres 0 – 40 °C).

•

Do czyszczenia należy używać suchej i miękkiej

ściereczki, nie używać wody ani środków che-

micznych.

•

Producent i dostawca nie ponoszą odpowiedzial-

ności za powstałe szkody: uszkodzenia sprzętu

bądź obrażenia użytkownika, jeżeli głośnik był uży-

wany niezgodnie z przeznaczeniem, niepoprawnie

zainstalowany, podłączony lub przeciążony.

Jeśli głośnik nie będzie już więcej używany,

wskazane jest przekazanie go do miejsca

utylizacji odpadów, aby został zniszczony

bez szkody dla środowiska.

3 Instalacja

UWAGA

Podczas pracy urządzenia na przyłączu

linii występuje napięcie osiągające do

100 V, które stanowi potencjalne za-

grożenie dla zdrowia lub życia.

Pod-

łączenie urządzenia należy zlecić spe-

cjaliście.

Należy zwrócić uwagę na odpowiedni dobór mocy

głośników do mocy wzmacniacza. Nieodpowiedni

dobór mocy głośników może spowodować uszko-

dzenie wzmacniacza PA! Całkowita moc wszystkich

podłączonych głośników nie może przekraczać

mocy wzmacniacza.

1) -Przed przystąpieniem do podłączania głośni

ków należy odłączyć zasilanie całego systemu

PA, aby kabel głośnikowy nie znajdował się pod

napięciem!

2) Wyciąć w suﬁcie okrągły otwór o średnicy 180 mm.

3) Odkręcić pokrywę aby uzyskać dostęp do złączy.

4) Przy fabrycznym ustawieniu, głośnik ustawiony

jest na maksymalną moc (patrz specyﬁkacja). Aby

zredukować moc (głośność) przełączyć czerwony

kabel od transformatora audio na złącze o żądanej

mocy.

5) Przeprowadzić kabel przez jeden z przelotów w

pokrywie i podłączyć go do terminala. Przy podłą-

czaniu kilku głośników, należy zwrócić uwagę, aby

wszystkie głośniki miały jednakową polaryzację.

6) Przykręcić ponownie pokrywę.

7) Odchylić zaczepy montażowe do góry, a na stępnie

wsunąć głośnik w otwór w suﬁcie. Po wsunięciu

głośnika, zaczepy sprężynowe zo staną zwolnione

mocując głośnik w suﬁcie.

Altavoz de Techo para Megafonía

Estas instrucciones van dirigidas a instaladores

con un conocimiento suﬁciente sobre la tecno-

logía de 100 V en aplicaciones para megafonía.

Lea atentamente estas instrucciones antes de la

instalación y guárdelas para usos posteriores.

1 Aplicaciones

Este altavoz con certiﬁcación EN 54-24 se p3-ha apro-

bado para sistemas de voz de alarma. En caso de

incendio, la carcasa cerrada (tapa de protección con-

tra el fuego) limitará la propagación del fuego. Se p3-ha

integrado un transformador de audio para funcionar

en sistemas de 100 V.

2 Notas de Seguridad

El altavoz cumple con todas las directivas relevantes

de la UE y por lo tanto está marcado con el sím-

bolo .

•

El altavoz está adecuado para utilizarlo sólo en

interiores. Protéjalo de goteos, salpicaduras y ele-

vada humedad del aire. Rango de temperatura

ambiente admisible: 0 – 40 °C.

•

Utilice sólo un paño suave y seco para la limpieza;

no utilice nunca ni agua ni productos químicos.

•

No podrá reclamarse garantía o responsabilidad

alguna por cualquier daño personal o material re-

sultante si se utiliza el altavoz para ﬁnes diferentes

a los originalmente concebidos, si no se conecta o

se instala correctamente, o si se sobrecarga.

Si el altavoz se va a dejar fuera de servi-

cio deﬁnitivamente, deshágase del altavoz

según las normativas locales.

3 Instalación

ADVERTENCIA Durante el funcionamiento, existe el

peligro de contacto con un voltaje

de hasta 100 V en el cable de cone-

xión. Sólo un técnico debe realizar

la instalación.

Preste atención a la carga del ampliﬁcador de

megafonía con los altavoces. ¡Una sobrecarga

puede dañar el ampliﬁcador! La potencia total de

todos los altavoces conectados no puede sobrepa-

sar la potencia del ampliﬁcador.

1) -Desconecte completamente el sistema de mega

fonía antes de instalar el altavoz, de modo que los

cables de altavoz no contengan ningún voltaje.

2) Haga un corte con un diámetro de 180 mm en

el techo.

3) Desenrosque la tapa de la carcasa para acceder a

las conexiones.

4) El altavoz viene de fábrica con la potencia más alta

seleccionada (ver especiﬁcaciones). Para reducir la

potencia (volumen), desconecte el cable rojo del

contacto y conéctelo al contacto que ofrezca la

potencia deseada.

5) Pase el cable de conexión a través de uno de los

ojales de la tapa y conéctelo al bloque de termi-

nales. Al conectar varios altavoces, asegúrese de

que todos los altavoces tienen la misma polaridad.

6) Fije la tapa de la carcasa utilizando tornillos.

7) Desdoble las tres pinzas con resorte del altavoz y

presione el altavoz contra el corte del techo cui-

dadosamente. En cuanto se liberen las pinzas con

resorte, asegurarán el altavoz en el techo.
