Accensione
Premere e tenere premuto tramite uno spillo il tasto [4] per circa 3 secondi. MODE MIDLAND 777TR
emetterà 3 beep di tonalità diverse; il display [1] eseguirà un auto test per un secondo e visualizzerà l’ultimo
canale utilizzato.
Regolazione volume
Per regolare il volume sul livello ottimale, premere i tasti / [6] nché non si ottiene il livello desiderato.
Selezione canali
Premere una volta tramite uno spillo il tasto [4] e di seguito i tasti / [6] per selezionare il MODE
canale desiderato e attendere circa 5 secondi.
Impostazione toni CTCSS
MIDLAND 777TR può ricevere in due modalità:
a) in questo caso sentirete tutte le conversazioni trasmesse sul canale selezionato. “trafco aperto”
b) I toni CTCSS funzionano come una sorta di codice di accesso e vi “modalità di gruppo CTCSS”
consentono di ricevere solo con quegli utenti che hanno il Vs. stesso canale e codice.
Procedimento per l’attivazione dei 38 toni CTCSS:
1. Accendere l’apparato.
2. Sezionare il canale desiderato.
3. Premere usando uno spillo il tasto [4] nchè il display mostra il canale con il codice del tono MODE
CTCSS lampeggiante a destra (“of” condizione di default).
4. Selezionare il tono CTCSS desiderato premendo i tasti / [6].
5. Per confermare l’impostazione, attendere circa 5 secondi.
Procedimento per la disattivazione del tono CTCSS
Se non si vuole operare con alcun tono CTCSS:
1. Premere usando uno spillo il tasto [4] nchè il display mostra il canale desiderato ed il codice MODE
del tono CTCSS lampeggiante a destra.
2. Selezionare “ ” tramite i tasti / [6].of
Ascolto (Ricezione)
La ricezione di un segnale verrà indicata con la scritta .”RX”
Auto power save
MIDLAND 777TR dispositivo automatico di risparmio batterie che consente di ridurre è dotato di un
i consumi delle batterie no al 50%; se la radio non riceve alcun segnale per circa 7 secondi la funzione
viene attivata automaticamente.
Ricarica
Quando il pacco batteria è scarico, l’icona lampeggia sul display. Occorrerà quindi procedere
alla ricarica il prima possibile. La ricarica dell’apparato può avvenire in due modi, inserendolo nell’apposito
caricatore da tavolo, oppure utilizzando il caricatore da muro direttamente nella presa CHG dell’apparato
stesso.
Quando la radio è in ricarica, l’icona della batteria scompare e viene mostrata la scritta “ ”. Ch
Se la radio viene posta in carica spenta, sul display compare la scritta e quando la batteria sarà “Ch”
totalmente carica, la scritta scompare dal display e appare per circa 1 minuto. “Ch” “FL”
Se invece la radio viene posta in carica accesa, la scritta si alternerà con la visualizzazione del canale “Ch”
in uso e quando la batteria è totalmente carica sarà sostituito da . “Ch” “FL”
Blocco tastiera
Mantenere premuto il tasto [3] tramite uno spillo per più di 3 secondi. Il simbolo che appare sul SCAN
display per circa tre secondi indica la sua attivazione. Per la disattivazione, premere e tenere premuto
nuovamente il tasto [3] per più di 3 secondi.SCAN
ALTRE FUNZIONI
SCAN: Scansione dei canali
SCAN esegue la scansione (ASCOLTO) di tutti i canali occupati.
Si utilizza per controllare le conversazioni su tutti i canali. In presenza di un segnale su un canale
(quindi di una conversazione), la scansione si interrompe. Nel caso in cui sia presente un disturbo o una
conversazione non desiderata è possibile far avanzare la scansione premendo i tasti . o
Durante questa funzione è presente il riconoscimento automatico ( ) dei toni subaudio in CTCSS detector
ricezione, ovvero la radio si fermerà sui canali dove è presente un segnale e il display mostrerà il tono
subaudio utilizzato dal chiamante. Il tono CTCSS decodicato non viene automaticamente impostato in
trasmissione dalla radio; è necessario quindi, per poter comunicare, impostarlo manualmente.

Attivazione funzione SCAN
1. Premere il tasto [3] con uno spillo: sul display [1] i canali cominceranno a scorrere.SCAN
2. Premere i tasti [6] per evitare temporaneamente l’ascolto di canali che presentano un forte o
rumore di fondo o una conversazione non desiderata.
Per disattivare la funzione, premere nuovamente [3] SCAN
SQUELCH
Nel il ltro per la riduzione del rumore di fondo (squelch) è attivo di default.MIDLAND 777TR
É sempre possibile “aprire” lo Squelch per estendere la copertura di ricezione: premere il tasto MODE
nché il display mostra . Premete il tasto per scegliere e attivare così la funzione di “SL of” “SL on”
Squelch sempre aperto. Per disattivare lo Squelch premere il tasto .MODE
Beep tastiera
Nel caso si desideri escludere la suoneria dei tasti alla loro pressione è possibile farlo operando nel
seguente modo:
1. Accendere l’apparato
2. Premere usando uno spillo il tasto [4], nchè il display mostra .MODE “bP on”
3. Premendo i tasti [6] fare in modo che il display mostri . o “bP of”
4. Per confermare attendere 5 secondi.
In questo modo tutte le volte che si preme un tasto non si sentirà alcun suono.
Dual Watch
La funzione Dual Watch permette l’ascolto simultaneo di due canali a vostra scelta monitorandoli
ciclicamente. Per selezionare la funzione Dual Watch procedete nel modo seguente:
1) Accendere l’apparato
2) Selezionare il primo canale che si vuole “scansionare” (vedi Par. “Selezione Canali”)
3) Premere usando uno spillo il tasto [4] nchè il display mostra .MODE “RXTX”
4) Tramite i tasti si può attivare la funzione desiderata selezionando il secondo canale che si vuole o
monitorare.
5) Per confermare attendere 5 secondi. Il ricevitore incomincia ad eseguire il monitoraggio tra i due
canali.
6) Quando il ricevitore rileva la presenza di una trasmissione su uno dei due canali, sospende
temporaneamente il Dual Watch, rimanendo sintonizzato sul canale per tutta la durata della
comunicazione. Alla ne della comunicazione dopo circa 5 sec riprenderà la funzione Dual Watch.
7) Per uscire dalla funzione Dual Watch premere brevemente il tasto [3].SCAN

Battery pack compartment
Hold the unit face down, unscrew the screw xing the belt clip and
slide the cover towards the bottom of the radio. Then, insert the
battery pack as shown in this picture.
Display illumination
Press / to activate display illumination for
approximately 5 seconds.

To turn radio on/off
Keep pressing the [4] button by using a safety pin for 3 seconds. beeps 3 times MODE MIDLAND 777TR
with different tones (beeps may be inhibited). The LCD [1] displays a “self-test” message for 1 second, it
will then show the last channel selected.
Volume adjustment
To adjust the volume level, push / [6] buttons until the required level is obtained.
Channel selection
Press the [4] button by using a safety pin once and then the / [6] controls to select one of the MODE
8 channels. To conrm the selection wait for approximately 5 seconds.
CTCSS-sub-tone setting
MIDLAND 777TR can receive in two modes:
a) in this case you will hear any communication transmitted on the selected channel.open trafc:
b) CTCSS tones are access keys that allow you to receive only messages group mode CTCSS:
coming from parties using the same channel and code.
To activate 1 of 38 different CTCSS tones
1. Turn on the radio.
2. Select a channel.
3. Press with a safety pin the [4] button until the display shows the channel with the ashing MODE
CTCSS code on the right ( = default condition).“of”
4. Select with the / [6] buttons the desired CTCSS-Code.
5. To conrm the setting, wait for approximately 5 seconds.
To deactivate CTCSS tones
If you want to operate with no CTCSS code:
1. Press with a safety pin the [4] key until the display shows the desired channel and the CTCSS MODE
tone blinking on the right.
2. Select with / [6] buttons.“of”
Reception
When you receive a signal, “ ” is displayed.RX
Automatic power save
MIDLAND 777TR automatic current economy circuit. is supplied with an If the receiver receives no
signal for 7 seconds or longer the “power save function” automatically activates. This may increase the
battery life by up to 50 %.
Recharge
When the battery pack is discharged, the icon blinks on the display. The recharge can be done in two
ways: insert the radio into the proper seat of the desktop charger or use the wall adaptor.
When the radio is being charged, the icon disappears and “ ” is displayed. Ch
If you charge the radio when it’s switched off, “Ch” appears on the display till the charge is complete; then
“Ch” “FL” will by replaced by which will disappear after one minute.
If you charge the radio when it’s switched on, and the channel in use are alternately displayed. When “Ch”

Keypad lock
Press and hold the [3] button by using a safety pin for longer than 3 seconds. The icon is displayed SCAN
for 3 seconds to conrm the lock has been activated.
Repeat the same procedure to unlock the keypad.
KEY FUNCTIONS
SCAN FUNCTION
The mode monitors the SCAN busy channels.
It is used to check speech trafc on the channels before transmitting and allows the unit to stop on a channel
that someone is talking on. In case of undesired conversation, you can skip this channel by pushing the
/ buttons [6].
When the function is enabled, the SCAN CTCSS detector is activated: the radio automatically detects the
sub-audio tone of the calling part, which will be displayed. The CTCSS tone received won’t be automatically
set during transmission and, therefore, to talk, it must be manually set.
(See par. “CTCSS sub-tone setting”)
To enable SCAN:
1. Press [3] key by using a safety pin: channels will start scanning on the display [1].SCAN
2. Press or [6] buttons to skip the channels with a strong background noise or undesired
conversation.
To deactivate this function, push the [3] key again.SCAN
SQUELCH

To extend the coverage, it is possible to open the Squelch: press the key until RX MODE “SL of” is
displayed. Select “ ” by means of the button. Press the button to disable the function.SL on MODE
Keypad beep
To deactivate the keypad beep at the pressure of any key, follow these steps:
1. Turn on your .MIDLAND 777TR
2. Press with a safety pin the [4] button, until the display shows MODE “bP on”.
3. Push or [6] until appears on the display.“bP of”
4. Conrm by waiting for 5 seconds.
With this procedure, you won’t hear any beep at the pressure of any button.
Dual Watch
This function allows you to monitor two channels of your choice at the same time. To select the Dual Watch,
follow the steps outlined below:
1. Switch on the unit
2. Select the rst channel to scan (see Par. “Channel selection”)
3. Press with a safety pin [4] until the display shows MODE “RXTX”.
4. Push the / controls, the Dual Watch can be activated by selecting the second channel to monitor.
5. Wait for 5 seconds. The receiver will start monitoring the two channels.
6. When the receiver detects a transmission on one of the two channels, Dual Watch temporarily pauses,
remains tuned for 5 seconds on the corresponding channel, giving the user a chance to respond to a
call. After this pause, the receiver begins scanning again.
7. To exit this function, quickly press [3]SCAN

Das Funkgerät wird mit separat beigepacktem Li-Ion-Akku geliefert. Bitte setzen Sie den Akku vor
Inbetriebnahme noch in das Funkgerät ein.
Li-Ionen-Akku einsetzen
Den Batteriefachdeckel können Sie nach
Abschrauben des Gürtelclips auf der Rückseite
abnehmen. Dazu drücken Sie am oberen Ende des
Batteriefachs leicht auf die Markierung und ziehen
gleichzeitig den Deckel nach unten ab.
Displaybeleuchtung: ein kurzer Druck auf /
beleuchtet das Display für etwa 5 Sekunden.
Ein- und Ausschalten
Drücken Sie etwa 3 Sekunden lang die MODE -Taste mit Hilfe eines spitzen Gegenstands (z.B.
Kugelschreibermine, Büroklammer o.ä.). Mit einem Mehrfachton (die Bestätigungstöne können
abgeschaltet werden) schaltet sich das Gerät auf dem zuletzt benutzten Kanal ein (bzw. aus).
Beim Einschalten leuchten alle Symbole in der Anzeige für einen automatischen Funktionstest kurz auf.
Laustärkeeinstellung
Die Empfangslautstärke stellen Sie mit den Tasten / [6] nach Ihren Wünschen ein.
Kanalwahl
Drücken Sie einmal die -Taste mit Hilfe eines spitzen Gegenstands (z.B. Kugelschreibermine, MODE
Büroklammer o.ä.). Die Kanalnummer blinkt. Mit / [6] wählen Sie den gewünschten Kanal aus.
Warten Sie 5 Sekunden zur Bestätigung.
Einstellungen für die zusätzliche CTCSS Codierung
MIDLAND 777TR kann in zwei Codierungs-Grundeinstellungen betrieben werden:
a) “offener Funkverkehr” in dieser Einstellung (Lieferzustand) kann jeder Benutzer jeden anderen
Teilnehmer auf dem gleichen Sprechkanal hören.
b) Die Mitglieder einer Gruppe entscheiden sich für einen gemeinsamen “geschlossene Gruppe”
Code aus 38 möglichen CTCSS Code-Tönen. Jetzt empfangen Sie nur noch Sendungen von
Teilnehmern mit dem gleichen CTCSS Code.
Zum Einstellen der Codierung wählen Sie einen von 38 möglichen Codes:
1. Bei eingeschaltetem Gerät Funkkanal auswählen (bei Bedarf kann man auf jedem Funkkanal eine
andere Codierung benutzen!)
2. Drücken sie mit Hilfe eines spitzen Gegenstands die [4] Taste, bis neben der Kanalzahl MODE of
oder eine Nummer blinkt ( ist die Werkseinstellung)01..38 of
3. den gewünschten Code-Ton mit den Tasten / [6] auswählen
4. Zur Bestätigung wieder circa 5 Sekunden warten.
Codierung wieder aufheben
Wie oben beschrieben vorgehjen, jedoch als Code die Stellung auswählen.of
Wichtig: Alle Teilnehmer einer Gruppe müssen den gleichen Kanal gleiche Codierung und die
eingeschaltet haben, sonst ist keine Funkverbindung möglich! Mit CTCSS Codierung können sich auf
einem gemeinsam benutzten Kanal bis zu 38 verschiedene Gruppen bilden. Innerhalb einer Gruppe
hört man dann nur alle dort beteiligten Stationen, nicht aber fremde Teilnehmer.
Empfang
Bei Empfang eines Signals leuchtet auf.RX
Stromsparschaltung und Batterie-Warnanzeige
Auch der Stromverbrauch Ihres wird durch den zentralen Prozessor optimiert: Sobald MIDLAND 777TR
mehr als 7 Sekunden lang kein Signal mehr empfangen wird, werden alle nicht unbedingt benötigten
Schaltungen im Gerät vorübergehend deaktiviert, solange, bis wieder ein Empfangssignal registriert wird.
Auaden
Wird der Akku-Pack Ihres Funkgerätes schwächer, blinkt im Display. Der Ladevorgang kann auf
zweierlei Wegen erfolgen: entweder in den Standlader oder benutzen Sie den Steckerlader (über die
Mikrofon/Ladebuchse).
Wenn Sie das Gerät im ausgeschalteten Zustand auaden, erscheint die Ladeanzeige im Display. “Ch”
Sobald die Ladung abgeschlossen ist, wechselt die Anzeige zunächst von , nach 1 Minute “Ch” “FL” auf
erlischt die Anzeige. Wenn Sie das Gerät im eingeschalteten Zustand auaden, erscheint die Ladeanzeige
“Ch” im Display im Wechsel mit der Kanalnummer. Sobald die Ladung abgeschlossen ist, wechselt diese
Anzeige von .“Ch” “FL” auf
Tastatursperre
Drücken Sie etwa 3 Sekunden lang die [3] -Taste mit Hilfe eines spitzen Gegenstands (z.B. SCAN
Kugelschreibermine, Büroklammer o.ä.) Es erscheint das Symbol im Display und alle Tasten bleiben
gesperrt. Zum Abschalten der Tastensperre drücken Sie wieder 3 Sekunden lang die [3] Taste.SCAN
WEITERE FUNKTIONEN
Alle Funktionen sind in einer Menüsteuerung zusammengefasst und können durch wiederholtes Drücken
der Taste nacheinander erreicht werdenMODE [4]
SCAN: Suchlauf über die Kanäle
Im Suchlauf ( ) Mode kann man die Funkkanäle nach Signalen absuchen, also besetzte Kanäle SCAN
nden.
Dabei werden alle Kanäle nacheinander automatisch abgesucht. Auf belegten Kanälen stoppt der Suchlauf
und Sie hören den Funkbetrieb mit.
Hinweis: beim Suchlauf kann das Gerät erkennen, ob eine gefundene Gegenstation mit einem CTCSS
Ton codiert sendet. Ist das der Fall, dann wird die Nummer des Ton-Codes im Display angezeigt. Wenn
Sie mit einer so beim Suchlauf gefundenen Station in Kontakt treten wollen, dann müssen Sie natürlich die
Ton-Code-Nummer auch bei Ihrem Gerät für diesen Kanal übernehmen, sonst kann der andere Teilnehmer
dort Sie ja nicht hören (lesen Sie bitte mehr über CTCSS im nächsten Kapitel).
Suchlauf aktivieren
1. [3] Taste mit Hilfe eines spitzen Gegenstands drücken. Im Display sehen Sie die Kanäle SCAN
durchlaufen.
2. Bei Suchlaufstops auf nicht interessanten Sendungen kann man mit / [6] ggf. weiterschalten.
Zum Abschalten des Suchlaufs erneut [3] drücken.SCAN
SQUELCH (Rauschsperre)
Bei Ihrem ist die automatische Rauschunterdrückung (Squelch) ab Werk bereits MIDLAND 777TR
aktiviert.
Wenn es sich als notwendig erweisen sollte, kann man die Rauschunterdrückung an den Grenzen der
Reichweite auch durch “ ” abschalten: Drücken Sie , bis “Überbrücken MODE SL of” erscheint. Wählen Sie
“ ” mit der taste. Deaktivieren der “ ” wieder mit .SL on Überbrückung MODE
Tastatur-Bestätigungston
Die Bestätigungstöne bei den Tasten können auch aus- oder wieder eingeschaltet werden.
1. Bei eingeschaltetem Gerät drücken sie mit Hilfe eines spitzen Gegenstands die taste [4], bis MODE
“bP on” erscheint.
2. Mit oder [6] können Sie zwischen oder wählen.“bP of” “bP on”
3. Warten Sie 5 Sekunden zur Bestätigung.
Bei ausgeschalteten Bestätigungstönen hören Sie keine Quittierung mehr beim Tastendruck!
Zweikanal-Überwachung (Dual Watch)
Müssen Sie auf einem bestimmten Kanal ständig empfangsbereit sein (Prioritätskanal), dann können sie
diesen Sie diesen Kanal besonders markieren. Selbst wenn Sie auf einem anderen Kanal auf Empfang
sind, wird Ihr immer wieder kurz auf diesen besonderen Kanal zurückschalten und MIDLAND 777TR
prüfen, ob dort Funkbetrieb stattndet. Wenn das der Fall ist, schaltet das Gerät auf diesen Kanal um,
ansonsten wird wieder der andere gewählte Kanal überwacht.
1) Bei eingeschaltetem Gerät den auswählen” (siehe auch unter “Kanalwahl”)“Erstkanal”
2) Drücken sie mit Hilfe eines spitzen Gegenstands die [4] Taste, bis erscheint.MODE “RXTX”
3) Mit oder zwischen ... bzw. ... auswählen.of P1 und P8 1 69 als “Zweitkanal”
4) Warten Sie 5 Sekunden zur Bestätigung.
Das Funkgerät überwacht jetzt beide Kanäle und stoppt ggf. auf dem Kanal, auf dem Funkbetrieb
stattndet. ca. 5 sec nach Ende des Funkbetriebs startet die Zweikanalüberwachung wieder.
5) Abschalten der Zweikanalüberwachung SCANdurch kurzen Druck auf [3].

Compartimento de baterías
Coloque el equipo boca abajo, quite el tornillo de
jación del clip de cinturón y deslice la tapa hacia
la parte baja de la radio. Inserte el pack de baterías
como se muestra en la imagen.

Pulse / para activar la iluminación del display
durante 5 segundos aproximadamente.

Encender/Apagar la radio
Pulse y mantenga pulsada durante 3 segundos la tecla [4] con un aller. emite MODE MIDLAND 777TR
3 pitidos con diferente tono (los pitidos se pueden anular). El display muestra un mensaje de auto-test
durante 1 segundo, mostrando a continuación el último canal seleccionado.
Ajuste de volumen
Para ajustar el nivel de volumen, pulse las teclas / [6] hasta lograr el volumen deseado.
Selección de canal
Pulse la tecla [4] con un aller una vez y después / 6], para seleccionar uno de los 8 MODE [
canales. Para conrmar la selección, espere 5 segundos aproximadamente.
Ajuste de los subtonos CTCSS
El puede recibir de dos maneras:MIDLAND 777TR
En abierto: en este caso se escuchan todas las comunicaciones realizadas en el canal seleccionado.
Con subtono: los tonos son como llaves que le permiten recibir mensajes solamente de otros equipos
que estén ajustados en el mismo canal y con el mismo subtono. La radio no recibirá nada si el subtono
no es el mismo en los dos equipos.
Activación de los subtonos
1. Encienda la radio
2. Seleccione un canal
3. Pulse con un aller la tecla [4] hasta que en el display aparezca el canal con el número de MODE
subtono parpadeando a su derecha (ajuste por defecto:” ”).Of
4. Seleccione el subtono deseado mediante las teclas / [6]
5. Para conrmar el ajuste, espere 5 segundos para la conrmación.
Desactivación de los subtonos
Si quiere trabajar sin subtonos:
1. Pulse con un aller la tecla [4] hasta que en el display aparezca el canal con el número de MODE
subtono, parpadeando a su derecha
2. Seleccione “ ” con las teclas / [6].Of
Recepción
Cuando reciba una señal, en el display aparece “ ”.RX
Ahorro de energía
Si el equipo no recibe ninguna señal durante 7 segundos o más, entra en funcionamiento un circuito
automático de ahorro de batería el cual puede incrementar la autonomía de la batería hasta un
50%.
Recarga
Cuando la batería está descargada, el icono parpadea en el display.
La recarga se puede hacer de dos maneras: insertar la radio dentro en el cargador de sobremesa o utilizar
el adaptador de pared.Cuando la radio esta en carga, el icono de la batería desaparece y aparece
en el display “ ”.Ch
Si recarga las baterías con la radio apagada, mostrará “Ch” en el display hasta que la carga este completa;
entonces “Ch” desaparecerá y el display mostrará que desaparecerá un minuto después. Si recarga “FL”
las baterías con la radio encendida, mostrará y el canal actualmente en uso. Cuando la carga este “Ch”
completa, el display mostrará “FL” “Ch”. en vez de
Bloqueo del teclado
Pulse y mantenga pulsada durante 3 segundos con un aller la tecla [3]. El símbolo aparece en SCAN
el display durante 3 segundos para conrmar que el bloqueo ha sido activado. Repita el mismo proceso
para desbloquear el teclado.
FUNCIONES DE LAS TECLAS
Función Scanner
El Scanner monitoriza . los canales ocupados
Se utiliza para explorar el tráco de los canales antes de transmitir y hace que la radio se detenga en un
canal donde haya alguna comunicación. En el caso de que no le interese esa conversación, puede saltar
ese canal pulsando las teclas [/ 6].
Cuando se activa la función scanner, el detector de subtonos CTCSS también se activa: la radio detecta
automáticamente el subtono, el cual se mostrará en el display.
Para activar el SCANNER
1. Pulse con un aller 3]; los canales son explorados y se muestra en el displayla tecla [SCAN
2. Pulse las teclas or 6] para saltar los canales con mucho ruido de fondo o que no se quieran [
escuchar.
Para desactivar esta función, pulse de nuevo la tecla 3]SCAN [
SQUELCH
El dispositivo para la reducción del ruido de fondo (squelch) del MIDLAND 777TR viene activado de
fábrica.
Para aumentar la cobertura RX, puede abrir el Squelch: pulse la tecla hasta que aparezca en el MODE
display “ . Seleccione “SL of” SL on “ con la tecla . Pulse la tecla para desactivar la función.MODE
Tonos del teclado
Para desactivar el sonido del teclado al pulsar una tecla siga los siguientes pasos
1. Encienda su MIDLAND 777TR
2. Pulse con un aller la tecla [4], hasta que en el display aparezca “ ”MODE bP on
3. Pulse / [6] hasta que en el display aparezca “ ”bP of
4. Espere 5 segundos
Con este proceso, no escuchará ningún tono al pulsar las teclas.
Doble escucha (Dual watch)
Esta función le permite monitorizar dos canales de su elección al mismo tiempo. Para activar la Doble
Escucha, siga los siguientes pasos:
1. Encienda la radio
2. Seleccione el primer canal a explorar (vea el párrafo “Selección de Canal”)
3. Pulse con un aller la tecla [4], hasta que en el display aparezca “ ”MODE RXTX
4. Seleccione el segundo canal a explorar con las teclas / 6] [
5. Espere 5 segundos. El equipo comenzará a explorar los dos canales.
6. Cuando el equipo detecta una transmisión en uno de los dos canales, la Doble Escucha se detiene
momentáneamente, permaneciendo en el canal activo durante 5 segundos, dándole la opción de
contestar a esa llamada. Después de este tiempo, el equipo reinicia la exploración.
7. Para salir de esta función, pulse brevemente [3].SCAN

de ceinture et faites glisser la trappe vers le bas. Insérer le pack batterie
comme l’indique la gure á côté.

Mise en service de la radio
Pressez le bouton [4] à l’aide d’un trombone durant 3 secondes. MODE MIDLAND 777TR émet 3 bips
de tonalités différentes (qui peuvent être inhibés). Le LCD [1] afche un message d’auto test durant une
seconde, suivi du dernier canal utilisé.
Réglage du volume
Pour ajuster le niveau du volume, pressez les boutons / [6] de façon à obtenir le niveau désiré.
Sélection du canal
Pressez le bouton [4] à l’aide d’un trombone une fois puis les touches / [6] pour choisir l’un MODE
des 8 canaux. Attendez environ 5 secondes.
Validation des tons sub-audio CTCSS
Le peut recevoir en deux modes distincts:MIDLAND 777TR
a) dans ce cas vous recevrez toutes les communications émises sur le canal que vous Mode ouvert:
avez sélectionné.
b) les tonalités CTCSS sont des codes qui vous permettent de ne recevoir que les Mode protégé:
messages issus d’émetteurs utilisant les mêmes codes et le même canal.
Pour activer 1 des 38 tonalités CTCSS, veuillez suivre la procédure:
1. Allumez la radio
2. Sélectionnez un canal.
3. Pressez à l’aide d’un trombone la touche [4] de façon à afcher le canal et le code CTCSS MODE
clignotant sur le côté droit (“ ”= pas de ton).of
4. Au moyen des touches / [6], sélectionnez le code CTCSS désiré.
5. Attendez 5 secondes.
Pour supprimer un code CTCSS
Si vous souhaitez traquer sans code CTCSS:
1. Pressez à l’aide d’un trombone la touche [4] pour afcher le canal désiré et le code CTCSS MODE
clignotant sur le coté droit.
2. Sélectionnez “ “ avec les touches / [6].of
Réception
A la réception d’un signal, “ ” apparaît à l’écran.RX
Economiseur d’énergie
Le est pourvu d’un Si aucun signal MIDLAND 777TR système d’économie d’énergie automatique.
n’est reçu durant au moins 7 secondes, le système s’active tout seul. Ceci a pour but de prolonger
l’autonomie de la batterie d’environ 50%.
Recharge
Quand le pack batterie est déchargé, l’icône clignote sur l’afcheur. Le chargement peut être effectué
de deux manières: insérez le connecteur du chargeur au jack CHG ou insérez la radio dans l’alvéole du
chargeur de bureau.
Pendant la recharge du , l’icône de la batterie disparaît et l’afcheur montre “ ”. MIDLAND 777TR Ch
Si la radio est débranchée, l’écran montre et quand la batterie est complètement chargée, “Ch” “FL”
apparaît sur l’afcheur pour 1 minute.
Si la radio est allumée, et le canal opératif sont montrés alternativement; quand la batterie est “Ch”
totalement chargée, “FL” apparaît à la place du “Ch”.
Blocage clavier
Maintenez appuyé le bouton SCAN [3] à l’aide d’un trombone durant 3 secondes. L’icône s’afche durant
3 secondes conrmant la validation du blocage du clavier.
Répétez la même procédure pour débloquer le clavier.
PRINCIPALES FONCTIONS
Fonction Balayage
Le permet d’écouter les balayage canaux actifs.
Il est utilisé pour écouter d’éventuelles conversations avant de passer en émission et permet de stopper
le récepteur sur un canal où une activité est présente. Si l’on ne souhaite pas écouter un canal, on peut le
sauter en pressant les touches / .
Quand la function SCAN CTCSS est validée, le détecteur est actif: la radio reconnait automatiquement la
tonalité subaudio de l’appelant qui sera afchée.
Le ton CTCSS reçu ne sera pas programmé à l’émission, aussi, vous devrez le programmer manuellement.

Pour lancer le balayage
1. Pressez le bouton [3] à l’aide d’un trombone: les canaux délent à l’écran.SCAN
2. Pressez les boutons [6] pour sauter les canaux qui seraient sujets à des perturbations ou
importantes ou bien les canaux sans intérêt.
Pour stopper balayage, appuyez à nouveau sur la touche [3].SCAN
Squelch
Le réducteur de bruit (squelch) du votre est actif par défault.MIDLAND 777TR
C’est toujours possible d’ouvrir le squelch pour étendre la couverture: pressez la touche jusqu’à ce MODE
que l’afcheur montre “SL of”. Appuyez sur la touche pour sélectionner et activer la fonction “SL on”
Squelch. Pour débrancher le Squelch, pressez .MODE
Beep clavier
Pour inhiber le beep d’appui touche, veuillez suivre la procédure :
1. Allumez votre .MIDLAND 777TR
2. Pressez à l’aide d’un trombone la touche [4] pour lire à l’écran “ ”.MODE bP on
3. Pressez les touches [6] de façon à afcher “ ”. ou bP of
4. Attendez 5 secondes.
Vous ne devez plus entendre à présent le beep d’appui touche.
Fonction double veille (Dual watch)
Cette function vous permet de d’écouter deux canaux de votre choix en même temps. Pour valider la
double veille, suivez la procédure :
1. Allumez la radio
2. Sélectionnez le premier canal à balayer (voir par. “Sélection du canal”)
3. Pressez à l’aide d’un trombone la touche [4]., pour lire à l’ecran .MODE “RXTX”
4. Pressez , la double veille sera activée en sélectionnant le second canal désiré . ou
5. Attendez 5 secondes. L’appareil surveillera les deux canaux.
6. Si l’un des deux canaux est détecté, la double veille cesse, le poste reste 5 secondes sur le canal vous
invitant à répondre. Ce laps de temps achevé, le balayage reprend.
7. Pour sortir de la fonction, pressez rapidement [3].SCAN

Prima e mantenha premida a tecla MODE [4] com um alnete por cerca de 3 segundos. MIDLAND 777TR
emiterá 3 beeps de tonalidades diversas; o [1] executará um auto test por um segundo e mostrará display
o último canal utilizado.
Regulagem do volume
Para regular o volume no melhor nível, prima as teclas / [6] até obter o nível desejado.
Selecção de canais
Prima uma vez a tecla [4] com um alnete e em seguida as teclas / [6] para seleccionar o MODE
canal desejado. Espere cerca de 5 segundos.
Fixagem dos tons CTCSS
MIDLAND 777TR pode receber em duas modalidades:
a) “tráfego aberto” neste caso ouvem-se todas as comunicações transmitidas no canal
seleccionado.
b) “modalidade de grupo CTCSS” Os tons CTCSS funcionam como uma espécie de código de

Procedimento para activar os 38 tons CTCSS
1. Ligue o aparelho.
2. Seleccione o canal desejado.
3. Prima com um alnete a tecla [4] até que o display mostre o canal com o código do tom MODE
CTCSS piscante à direita (“ ” condição de default).of
4. Seleccione o tom CTCSS desejado premindo as teclas / [6].
5. Espere por cerca de 5 segundos.
Procedimento para desactivar o tom CTCSS
Se não quiser operar com nenhum tom CTCSS:
1. Prima com um alnete a tecla [4] até que o display mostre o canal desejadoMODE
E o código do tom CTCSS piscante à direita.
2. Seleccione “ com as teclas / [6].of”
Escuta (Recepção)
A recepção de um sinal será indicada pela escrita ” ”.RX
Auto power save
MIDLAND 777TR dispositivo automático de economia de baterias que permite é dotado de um
reduzir o consumo das baterias em até 50%; se o rádio não recebe nenhum sinal por cerca de 7
segundos a função se activa automaticamente.
Recarga
Quando a bateria está descarregada, o símbolo pisca no display: é necessário então recarregá-la
o mais rapidamente possível. Proceda ao recarregamento, o qual poderá ser efectuado de duas formas:
introduza o rádio na base apropriada do carregador de secretária ou utilize o adaptador de parede.
Quando o rádio estiver carregar, o ícone (pilhas) desaparece e é exibido “ ” (canal).Ch
Se carregar o rádio quando este está desligado, o ecrã mostrará a mensagem “Ch” até que a carga esteja
completa. Quando a carga terminou a mensagem no ecrã é substituída por , que desaparecerá “Ch” “FL”
passado um minuto.
Bloqueio do teclado
Mantenha premida a tecla [3] com um alnete por mais de 3 segundos. O símbolo que aparece no SCAN
display por cerca de três segundos indica a sua activação. Para desactivá-la, prima e mantenha premida
novamente a tecla [3] por mais de 3 segundos.SCAN
OUTRAS FUNÇÕES
SCAN: Scanning dos canais
SCAN executa o scanning (ESCUTA) de .todos os canais ocupados
Use-o para controlar as comunicações em todos os canais. Na presença de um sinal em um canal (ou
seja, de uma recepção), o scanning se interrompe. Caso haja presença de distúrbios ou uma recepção
não desejada, é possível adiantar o scanning premindo as teclas . ou
Durante esta função é presente o reconhecimento automático (CTCSS detector) dos tons sub-áudio em
recepção, ou seja, o rádio pára nos canais onde há presença de sinal e o display mostra o tom sub-
áudio utilizado pela pessoa que chama. O tom CTCSS decodicado não é colocado automaticamente em
transmissão pelo rádio, portanto é necessário xá-lo manualmente (ver pár. “Fixagem dos tons CTCSS).
Activar a função SCAN
1. Prima a tecla [3] com um alnete: no display [1] os canais começarão a passar.SCAN
2. Prima as teclas [6] para saltar temporariamente a escuta de canais com muito ruído de fundo ou
ou comunicações não desejadas.
Para desactivar a função SCAN, prima novamente [3]SCAN
SQUELCH (redução de ruído de fundo)
No seu o dispositivo de redução de ruído de fundo (squelch) vem activado de fábrica.MIDLAND 777TR
Para ampliar a cobertura rx, é possível abrir a redução de ruído de fundo (squelch): pressione a tecla
MODE (modo) até ser apresentada a indicação “SL off” (squelch desligado). Seleccione “SL on” (squelch
ligado) com o botão (para cima). Pressione o botão (modo) para desactivar a função.MODE
Beep do teclado
É possível excluir o som emitido pelas teclas quando são premidas, procedendo no seguinte modo:
1. Ligue o aparelho
2. Prima a tecla [4] com um alnete, até que o display mostre ”.MODE “bP on
3. Prima as teclas [6] até que apareça no display “ ”. ou bP of
4. Espere 5 segundos.
Deste modo todas as vezes que se prime uma tecla não se ouvirá nenhum som.
Dual Watch
A função Dual Watch permite a escuta simultânea de dois canais a escolha, monitorando ciclicamente os
dois canais. Para seleccionar a função Dual Watch proceda no seguinte modo:
1) Ligue o aparelho
2) Seleccione o primeiro canal ao qual se quer fazer o scanning (ver pár. “Seleção dos canais)
3) Prima a tecla (4) com um alnete, até que o display mostre ”.MODE “RXTX
4) Com as teclas [6] pode-se activar ou desactivar a função desejada, seleccionando o segundo ou
canal para o scannng.
5) Espere 5 segundos. O receptor inicia e executar a monitoração entre os dois canais.
6) Quando o receptor assinala a presença de uma transmissão em um dos dois canais, suspente
temporariamente o Dual Watch, permanecendo sintonizado no canal durante toda a recepção, e após
5 segundos do nal, retoma a função Dual Watch.
7) Para sair da função Dual Watch prima brevemente a tecla [3].SCAN

Χώρος μπαταρίας
Κρατήστε τον πομποδέκτη με την μπροστινή όψη προς τα κάτω,
ξεβιδώστε το κλιπ ζώνης και τραβήξτε συρταρωτά το κάλυμμα του
χώρου της μπαταρίας, προς τη βάση του πομποδέκτη. Εισάγετε τη
μπαταρία όπως φαίνεται στην εικόνα.
Φωτισμός οθόνης
Πατήστε / για να ενεργοποιήσετε το φωτισμό
της οθόνης για 5 δευτερόλεπτα περίπου.
ΑΣ ΕΠΙΚΟΙΝΩΝΗΣΟΥΜΕ!
Ενεργοποίηση/ απενεργοποίηση (on/off) του πομποδέκτη
Εκπέμπει 3 διαφορετικούς τόνους μπιπ (μπορείτε να τους απενεργοποιήσετε). Η LCD [1] οθόνη εκτελεί
ένα αυτοέλεγχο διάρκειας 1 δευτερολέπτου και στη συνέχεια συντονίζεται στο κανάλι που είχε επιλεγεί
τελευταία.
Ρύθμιση έντασης φωνής
Επιλέξτε το επιθυμητό επίπεδο έντασης της φωνής μέσω των πλήκτρων / [6].
Επιλογή καναλιού
Πατήστε μια φορά το πλήκτρο [4] και επιλέξτε κάποιο από τα 8 pmr446/ 69 LPD διαθέσιμα MODE
κανάλια μέσω των πλήκτρων / [6]. Για να επιβεβαιώσετε την επιλογή σας, περιμένετε περίπου 5
δευτερόλεπτα.
Επιλογή υπότονου CTCSS
Το μπορεί να πραγματοποιήσει λήψη με δύο τρόπους:MIDLAND 777TR
a) open trafc: στην περίπτωση αυτή θα ακούτε όλες τις επικοινωνίες που εκπέμπονται στο επιλεγμένο
κανάλι.
b) οι τόνοι CTCSS σας επιτρέπουν να λάβετε μόνο μηνύματα που προέρχονται group mode CTCSS:
από άτομα που χρησιμοποιούν το ίδιο κανάλι και υπότονο.
Για να ενεργοποιήσετε 1 από τους 38 διαθέσιμους υπότονους CTCSS
1. Ενεργοποιήστε τον πομποδέκτη.
2. Επιλέξτε ένα κανάλι.
3. Πατήστε το πλήκτρο [3] μέχρις ότου να εμφανιστεί στην οθόνη το κανάλι με τον υπόνονο MODE
CTCSS να αναβοσβήνει δεξιά του ( = προεπιλογή).“of”
4. Μέσω των πλήκτρων / [6] επιλέξτε τον επιθυμητό κωδικό CTCSS.
5. Για να επιβεβαιώσετε περιμένετε για 5 δευτερόλεπτα περίπου.
Για να απενεργοποιήσετε τους υπότονους CTCSS
Αν θέλετε να δουλέψετε τη συσκευή χωρίς υπότονο CTCSS:
1. Πατήστε το πλήκτρο [4] μέχρις ότου να εμφανιστεί στην οθόνη το κανάλι με τον υπόνονο MODE
CTCSS να αναβοσβήνει δεξιά του.
2. Επιλέξτε μέσω των πλήκτρων / [6].“of”
Λήψη
Όταν λαμβάνεται σήμα, στην οθόνη εμφανίζεται η ένδειξη “ ”.RX
Αυτόνομη εξοικονόμηση ισχύος
Η συσκευή σας MIDLAND 777TR είναι εξοπλισμένη με ένα αυτόματο κύκλωμα εξοικονόμησης ρεύματος.
Αν ο πομποδέκτης δεν λάβει σήμα για πάνω από 7 δευτερόλεπτα, ενεργοποιείται αυτόματα η λειτουργία
“εξοικονόμησης ισχύος”. Αυτό μπορεί να αυξήσει την αυτονομία της μπαταρίας μέχρι και 50 %.
Επαναφόρτιση
Όταν το pack μπαταριών αποφορτιστεί, το εικονίδιο αναβοσβήνει στην οθόνη. Η επαναφόρτιση
μπορεί να γίνει με δύο τρόπους: τοποθετείστε τον πομποδέκτη στην κατάλληλη θέση του επιτραπέζιου
φορτιστή ή χρησιμοποιήστε τον επιτοίχιο φορτιστή.
Όταν ο πομποδέκτης φορτίζεται, το εικονίδιο της μπαταρίας εξαφανίζεται και εμφανίζεται το « ».Ch
Εάν φορτίζετε τον πομποδέκτη όταν είναι απενεργοποιημένος,το εμφανίζεται στην οθόνη μέχρις «Ch»
ότου η φόρτιση να είναι πλήρης· κατόπιν το θα αντικατασταθεί από το , το οποίο θα εξαφανιστεί «Ch» «Fl»
μετά από ένα λεπτό. Εάν φορτίζετε τον πομποδέκτη όταν είναι ενεργοποιημένος, το και το κανάλι «Ch»
που βρίσκεται σε χρήση, εμφανίζονται διαδοχικά. Όταν η φόρτιση είναι πλήρης, η οθόνη εμφανίζει «FL»
αντί του .«Ch»
Κλείδωμα πλήκτρων
Εĸπέμπεı 3 ōıαψορετıĸούς Τόνους [3] για πάνω από 3 δευτερόλεπτα. το εικονίδιο εμφανίζεται για SCAN
3 δευτερόλεπτα επιβεβαιώνοντας ότι έχει ενεργοποιηθεί το κλείδωμα.
Επαναλάβετε τη διαδικασία για να ξεκλειδώσετε τα πλήκτρα.
ΛΕΙΤΟΥΡΓΙΕΣ ΠΛΗΚΤΡΩΝ
ΛΕΙΤΟΥΡΓΙΑ ΣΑΡΩΣΗΣ (SCAN)
Κατά τη λειτουργία αυτή σαρώνονται οι κατειλημμένοι δάυλοι.
Με τον τρόπο αυτό ελέγχετε την επικοινωνία στα κανάλια πριν αποφασίσετε να εκπέμψετε και επιπλέον
μπορείτε να σταματήσετε σε ένα κανάλι που κάποιος μιλάει. Στην περίπτωση ανεπιθύμητων συνομιλιών,
μπορείτε να παρακάμψετε το κανάλι με τη βοήθεια των πλήκτρων / [6].
Όταν η λειτουργία είναι ενεργοποιημένη, ο είναι ενεργοποιημένος: ο SCAN ανιχνευτής CTCSS
πομποδέκτης ανιχνεύει αυτόματα τους υπότονους του καλούντος, που εμφανίζεται στην οθόνη. Ο τόνος
CTCSS που λαμβάνεται δεν τίθεται αυτόματα κατά την εκπομπή και, επομένως, για να μιλήσετε πρέπει να
τον επιλέξετε μόνοι σας. (Αναφερθείτε στην παρ. “Επιλογή υποτόνου CTCSS”)
Για να ενεργοποιήσετε τη σάρωση (SCAN):
1. Πατήστε το πλήκτρο [3]: τα κανάλια θα αρχίσουν να σαρώνονται στην οθόνη [1].SCAN
2. Πατήστε κάποιο από τα πλήκτρα ή [6] για να παρακάμψετε τα κανάλια με ισχυρό θόρυβο
υποβάθρου ή με ανεπιθύμητες επικοινωνίες.
Για να απενεργοποιήσετε τη λειτουργία αυτή, πατήστε ξανά το πλήκτρο [3].SCAN
SQUELCH
Στο σας η συσκευή φίμωσης παρασιτικού θόρυβου (squelch) ενεργοποιείται στο MIDLAND 777TR
εργοστάσιο.
Για να επεκταθεί η κάλυψη rx, είναι δυνατό να ανοιχτεί το Squelch: πιέστε το πλήκτρο « » έως ότου Mode
εμφανιστεί το « ». Επιλέξτε « » μεσω του πλήκτρου . Πιέστε το πλήκτρο « » για να SL of SL on Mode
απενεργοποιήσετε τη λειτουργία.
Τόνοι πλήκτρων
Για να μην ακούτε ήχο επιβεβαίωσης κάθε φορά που πατάτε ένα πλήκτρο:
1. Ενεργοποιήστε τον πομποδέκτη .MIDLAND 777TR
2. Πατήστε το πλήκτρο [4] έως ότου εμφανιστεί η ένδειξη MODE “bP on”.
3. Πατήστε το πλήκτρο ή το [6] ώσπου να εμφανιστεί η ένδειξη .“bP of”
4. Για να επιβεβαιώσετε πατήστε [8] ή περιμένετε για 5 δευτερόλεπτα.PTT
Έτσι, δεν θα ακούτε μπιπ επιβεβαίωσης κάθε φορά που πατάτε ένα πλήκτρο.
Dual Watch
Η λειτουργία αυτή σας επιτρέπει να έχετε ταυτόχρονα την εποπτεία δύο διαύλων. Για να επιλέξετε τη
λειτουργία Dual Watch, ακολουθήστε τα παρακάτω βήματα:
1. Ενεργοποιήστε τη συσκευή
2. Επιλέξτε το πρώτο κανάλι που θα σαρώνεται (παρ. “Επιλογή καναλιού”)
3. Πατήστε το πλήκτρο [4] έως ότου εμφανιστεί η ένδειξη MODE “RXTX”.
4. Πατήστε τα πλήκτρα / , η λειτουργία Dual Watch μπορεί να ενεργοποιηθεί όταν επιλέγεται το δεύτερο
κανάλι προς εποπτεία.
5. Για να επιβεβαιώσετε περιμένετε για 5 δευτερόλεπτα. Θα αρχίσει η εποπτεία των δύο διαύλων.
6. Όταν ο πομποδέκτης ανιχνεύσει μια εκπομπή σε ένα από τα δύο κανάλια, η λειτουργία Dual Watch
θα σταματήσει προσωρινά και ο πομποδέκτης θα μείνει συντονισμένος στο κανάλι αυτό για 5
δευτερόλεπτα, δίνοντας έτσι την ευκαιρία στον χρήστη να απαντήσει στην κλήση. Μετά από αυτή την
παύση ο πομποδέκτης ξαναρχίζει τη σάρωση.
7. Για να εξέλθετε από αυτή τη λειτουργία πατήστε στιγμιαία το πλήκτρο [3]SCAN
