DIN Sleeve
Temperature Control Switch
Receiver Mounting Bracket
1. Remove factory radio/climate control assembly
following instructions in the Mastersheet for
your particular vehicle.
2. Turn climate control knobs in the vertical
position and pull knobs to remove.
3. Remove two (2) torx screws securing
temperature control switch and fan switch
(one screw from each) from back of factory
assembly. Remove switches. Unclip vent
control switch and remove.
4. Secure all switches to rear of new receiver
mounting bracket in the same manner. Use
hardware previously removed (Figure 1).
5. Hold climate control knobs in the vertical
position and push onto shafts of switches
(Figure 1).
6. Remove DIN sleeve from receiver (Figure 2).
Slide sleeve into opening in receiver mounting
bracket and secure to bracket by bending the
securing tabs (Figures 3 & 4).
7. Slide receiver into DIN sleeve/mounting
bracket assembly (Figure 3).
Make wiring connections following
instructions on the next page.

Installation Kit - Receiver/Amplifier Bypass Wiring Adaptors

If your receiver does not have
a dimmer or illumination wire,
tape off the Orange/White wire.
Connect wires below to the matching function of
each wire on your receiver (refer to instructions
supplied with receiver).
IMPORTANT: The wire colors of your new receiver
may, or may not, match the wire colors of the
adaptor. Match adaptor and receiver wires by
function, disregarding color.
Install adaptor harnesses following
instructions on the next page.
CONNECT WIRES
Individually tape off any unused wires.
Red -12 Volts Switched Power
Yellow -12 Volts Constant Power
Orange/White - Dimmer
Black - Chassis Ground

Soldering Instructions
1. Strip wires back 1/2”.
2. Tightly twist wires together.
3. Solder:
a. Heat wire.
b. Touch solder to wire, not to iron.
4. Tape

Violet/Black -Right Rear Speaker Negative
Violet - Right Rear Speaker Positive
Green - Left Rear Speaker Positive
Gray - Right Front Speaker Positive
Gray/Black - Right Front Speaker Negative
Green/Black - Left Rear Speaker Negative
White - Left Front Speaker Positive
White/Black - Left Front Speaker Negative
