Pre-use Notes

1. Make sure Pencil A8 is compatible with your iPad.

-You can find your iPad model name in iPad Settings: Settings > Tap General > Tap About >

-Metapen A8 ONLY works with models below:

iPad Mini 6th/5th Gen

2. Ensure your iPad is running iOS 12.2 or later.

3. If your iPad has previously paired with an Apple Pencil, unpair before using Metapen A8.

4. Charge A8 for 10 minutes before first use.

5. Double tap the rounded end of pencil A8 with your finger to turn it on/off. No need to

connect Bluetooth or apps.

6.Pencil A8 will auto turn of in 5 minutes of inactivity.

Quick Troubleshooting for Pencil A8

➢My iPad is compatible with A8, why it doesn't seem to work?

Before first use, please charge A8 for 10 minutes and confirm the following settings:

①Double tap the rounded end of pencil A8 with your finger to turn it on/off.

②Loosen the pen tip a bit or replace the tip.

③Ensure your iPad is running iOS 12.2 or later.

④Unpair Apple Pencil (if you have) in your iPad: Go to Settings > Bluetooth > Tap i next ‘’
