CONNECTING THE WIRES
3.Attachthexture’swirestothepowersupplywiresfromthe
junctionbox.Connectblacktoblack(orsmooth);whitetowhite(or
ribbed);groundtoground(greenorcopper).Twisttheendsofthe
wirepairstogether,thentwistonawireconnector.Makesureall
twistsareinthesamedirection.Ifthereisnogroundwire(greenor
copper)fromthejunctionbox,locategroundscrew(E)onmounting
strap(B)andwrapthexture’sgroundwirearoundthegreenground
screw(E).Useascrewdrivertosecuregroundscrew(E)ontothe
mountingbracket.Tuckallwiresneatlyintothejunctionbox.

CLEANING TIPS
Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the
xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.
PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
Removeallofthecontentsfromthecarton.Seethe
importantnotesabove.Shutoffthepoweratthecircuit
breakerandcompletelyremovetheoldxturefromthe
wall,includingtheoldmountingstrap.
1.Mountingstrap(A)maybeattachedtobackplate(F).
Themountingstrapcontainsseveralpairsofthreaded
holes.Findthepairofholesthatmatchesthespacing
oftheholesonthejunctionboxandyourxture’s
backplate.Besurethatthescrewholesarevertical.Test
backplate(F)tomountingstrap(A)toensurethatitwill
hangstraight.Placethextureaside.Pullthehousewires
throughthecenterofmountingstrap(A).
2.Placemountingstrap(A)overthejunctionboxsothat
mountingscrews(B)maybeinsertedhorizontally.Secure
mountingstrap(A)tothejunctionboxwithmounting
screws(B)andascrewdriver.Tightenthescrews
securely.

FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
4.Placethexture’sbackplate(F)overmountingstrap(A)sothattheholesinthetopofthemountingstraplineupwiththeholesin
thebackplate.Threadscrews(C)intobackplate(F)untilbackplate(F)issnugagainstthewall.
5.Slideglassshades(G)oversockets(D)andsecureinplacewithspacer(H)followedbysocketrings(J).Usesockettool(L)tolock
thesocketringsinplace.
6.Twistlightbulbs(notprovided)intosocket(D).Donotexceedthemaximumrecommendedwattage.
Yourinstallationiscomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
