Thank you for purchasing a Mellerware product. Mellerware guarantees

that your product has been thoroughly inspected and tested before being

dispatched and is free from mechanical or electrical defects and complies

with the applicable safety standards. With every Mellerware product

purchased you will receive up to a 3 year warranty as detailed in the terms

and conditions below.

FIRST YEAR – 1 YEAR RETAIL WARRANTY

Should defects due to faulty parts or workmanship develop, under normal

domestic use, within 12 months from the original date of purchase please

return the product to the store from where it was purchased for a refund

or replacement at the discretion of the brand. Mellerware appliances are

intended for domestic use only and not for industrial or professional use.

The Warranty, if the product is used outside of domestic use or used in a

commercial environment, is reduced to 3 months with no extended war-

ranty available, all other terms and conditions applicable.

SECOND YEAR – OPTIONAL 1 YEAR ADDITIONAL EXTENDED

ONLINE WARRANTY REGISTRATION

Mellerware takes pride in its product quality and therefore offer an

extended 12 month warranty over and above the 1 Year Retail Warranty.

Should defects due to faulty material or workmanship develop, under normal

domestic use, after the initial 12 month period and within 24 months from

the original date of purchase, please return the product to Mellerware for

repair. Mellerware will assess and repair the product free of charge should

it be found to be a valid warranty claim and will return it to you directly.

Mellerware will replace a product with a similar product in the same or

better condition, if the repair cannot be conducted for whatever reason.

Should the product fall outside of the warranty, Mellerware will produce a

repair and delivery quotation for your approval.

Should you experience any technical difculties you are welcome to

consultants will gladly assist with the online warranty registration. Should

THIRD YEAR – OPTIONAL 1 YEAR ADDITIONAL EXTENDED

COMMUNICATION OPT IN WARRANTY

Mellerware takes pride in its product quality and therefore offer an addi-

tional 12 month warranty over and above the 1 Year Retail and 1 year

online registration warranty. Should defects due to faulty material or

workmanship develop, under normal domestic use, after the initial 12 month

period, the extended online registration 12 month period and within 36

months from the original date of purchase, please return the product to

Mellerware for repair. Mellerware will assess and repair the product free of

charge should it be found to be a valid warranty claim and will return it to

you directly. Mellerware will replace a product with a similar product in the

same or better condition, if the repair cannot be conducted for whatever

reason. Should the product fall outside of the warranty, Mellerware will

produce a repair and delivery quotation for your approval.

consultants will gladly assist with the online warranty registration and

opt-in email communication. Should you wish to qualify for the additional

third year extended warranty, you would need to have registered your

warranty within the rst 12 months from date of purchase and subscribed

to receive brand communication. The extended warranty is conditional

upon these requirements. Please note that you are however free to opt

out at any stage in accordance with the POPI act, this will however result

in you forfeiting this additional extended “communication opt in” warranty

from the recorded opt-out date.

Before returning your product, check the following:

•Your household mains supply socket is in good condition, working and

switched on.

• The mains supply circuit is not overloaded (white trip switch on your

DB board is off).

•You have read the trouble shooting guide in your Instructions for Use.

•All accessories and parts are present.

The following conditions apply:

1. Please ensure you retain your original receipt as this must be

presented when making a claim under the terms of the warranty.

It is impossible to determine the warranty period without proof of

purchase, so please keep this in a safe place. (NB. Your original receipt

can be scanned onto the Mellerware website [www.mellerware.co.za]

or Creative Housewares (Pty) Ltd [www.creativehousewares.co.za]

for safe storage.)

2. If a refund or exchange is required the product must be complete

with all accessories, parts and packaging. Missing parts will render the

warranty void. Any refund or exchange remains at the brands discre-

tion beyond the implied warranty granted by the CPA.

3. Upon receipt of your appliance, check it for any transport damage to

ensure it is safe for use. Return it to the store as soon as possible for

exchange if damaged. The warranty is void if products are damaged

after use, so please do not use a damaged product.

4. Any alteration made to the appliance purchased will void the warranty.

5. Your product is designed for normal domestic household use. Failure

to read and comply with the instructions for use, cleaning and

maintenance will render your warranty void, so please read these

instructions carefully to ensure your safety, and to get the most effec-

tive use from the product (e.g. not removing limescale; water deposits;

insect infestation, and/or burnt products).

6. Any abuse, negligent, improper or accidental use or care will render

the warranty void and Creative Housewares (Pty) Ltd will not be

liable for any loss or damage.

7. Any attempted repair, or replacement of unauthorised parts will ren-

der the warranty void, so please contact an authorised service centre

or service agent for any service or repair requirements.

8. NB: The warranty on replaced products will be from the original date

of purchase and not from when the date replacement was made.

9. All repairs carry a 3 month warranty even if this falls outside of the

warranty period.

10. Mellerware will attempt to conduct repairs within reasonable time,

this in line with industry standards but cannot be held responsible or

liable for any circumstances not under the brand’s control.

11. This warranty does not apply to glass components, lters, consum-

ables, and other parts subject to fair wear and tear.

Repairs out of the warranty period:

If service or repair becomes necessary outside the warranty period, this

service is still available however all transport/postage, spares and labour

costs will be for the customers’ account. All chargeable repairs will require

the customers’ written acceptance of the quote. Once the go-ahead has

been received Mellerware will undertake to conduct the repair within a

reasonable time and maintain the condition of the product as received. All

repairs carry a warranty of 3 months from the date of the repair.

6. Anomalies and repair

6.1. Take the appliance to an authorised technical support

service if product is damaged or other problems arise.

6.2. If the connection to the mains has been damaged, it must

be replaced and you should proceed as you would in the case

of damage.

7. Recycling:

7.1. These electrical products, cables, batteries, packaging,

and the manual, should not be mixed with general household

waste. For proper recycling, please take these products to

your nearest Creative Housewares office where they will be

accepted for recycling free of charge.

7.2. Alternatively, please contact your local authority or house-

hold waste disposal service for further details of your nearest

designated collection point. Correct product disposal saves

resources and prevents negative effects on human health and

the environment.

2. Veiligheidsadvies en waarskuwings!

Lees hierdie instruksies sorgvuldig deur voordat u die toestel

aanskakel en hou dit vir toekomstige verwysing. Versuim om

2.1. Gebruik of werksomgewing:

2.1.1. Hou die werkarea skoon en goed belig. Oorvol en

3.2.4. Gebruik van bykomstighede: Om gapings en ander

klein areas skoon te maak, verwyder die borsel en plaas die

spleetstuk in die suiginlaat.

3.3. Gebruiksaanwysings vir die mop-bykomstigheid:

3.3.1. Wanneer die mop-bykomstigheid gebruik word, is daar

twee modusse om van te kies:

• Modus 1: Terwyl jy mop, word die sagte silikoon-toebehore

aan die onderkant van die watertenk saamgedruk, wat die druk

binne die verseëlde tenk verhoog. Dit veroorsaak dat water

voortdurend uitvloei en die mopkussing nat maak.

• Modus 2: As die mop nie nat genoeg is nie, maar daar

steeds water in die tenk is, kan jy liggies op die tenk trap. Dit

sal die vloeistof uit die tenk en op die mopkussing druk.

3.4. Waarskuwing oor batteryveiligheid en instruksies:

3.4.1. Hierdie produk bevat nie-vervangbare, herlaaibare

litiumioonbatterye.

3.4.2. Moenie die batterye uitmekaar haal, oopmaak, laat val,

vergruis, buig, deurboor of versnipper nie.

3.4.3. Moenie die battery wysig, hervervaardig of probeer om

vreemde voorwerpe daarin te plaas nie. Moenie die battery in

water of ander vloeistowwe dompel of aan vuur, oormatige

hitte of ‘n mikrogolfoond blootstel nie.

3.4.4. Moenie ‘n battery kortsluit of toelaat dat metaal- of

geleidende voorwerpe gelyktydig aan beide terminale raak nie.

3.4.5. Onbehoorlike batterygebruik kan brand, ontploffing of

ander gevare veroorsaak.

3.4.6. Hou toesig oor kinders wanneer hulle die stofsuier of

battery gebruik.

3.4.7. Giftige dampe en materiale kan ontstaan wanneer liti-

umioonbatterye verbrand word. Die elektroliet in die batterye is

‘n mengsel van vloeibare organiese karbonate en litiumsoute.

3.4.8. Kontak met vel/oë: Indien die batteryinhoud met jou vel

in aanraking kom, was die area onmiddellik met sagte seep

en water. Indien batteryvloeistof in jou oë kom, spoel die oop

oog met water vir ten minste 15 minute of totdat die irritasie

ophou. Soek mediese hulp indien nodig.

3.5. Laaiveiligheidswaarskuwings en instruksies

3.5.1. Lees alle instruksies en waarskuwings op die laaier en

die produk wat die battery gebruik voordat jy die batterylaaier

gebruik.

3.5.2. Om die risiko van besering te verminder, gebruik hierdie

laaier slegs saam met hierdie produk. Die gebruik van die

laaier saam met ander produkte kan veroorsaak dat batterye

bars, wat persoonlike beserings of skade kan veroorsaak.

3.5.3. Moenie die laaier aan reën of sneeu blootstel nie.

3.5.4. Om die risiko van skade aan die elektriese prop en

koord te verminder, trek die prop, nie die koord nie, wanneer u

die laaier ontkoppel.

3.5.5. Maak seker dat die koord so geplaas is dat dit nie

4. Skoonmaak:

4.1.1. Vir die beste werkverrigting moet u die stofhouer

leegmaak en die filter na elke gebruik skoonmaak.

4.1.2. Druk die stofhouer se vrystellingsknoppie om dit van die

hoofeenheid te verwyder.

4.1.3. Trek die stofhouerfilter uit.

4.1.4. Maak die stof uit die stofhouer leeg.

4.1.5. Spoel die filter in koue water af en laat dit vir 24 uur

lugdroog word voordat u dit terug in die stofhouer plaas.

Belangrike notas:

• Moenie ‘n wasmasjien of ‘n haardroër gebruik om die filter

skoon te maak of droog te maak nie.

• Laat dit slegs lugdroog word.

• Plaas die filter versigtig terug in die stofhouerkompartement.

• Moet nooit die stofsuier gebruik sonder dat die stofhouer-

filter in plek is nie.

• Dit word aanbeveel dat u die stofhouerfilter elke drie

maande vervang, afhangende van gebruik, om piekprestasie

te verseker.

2. Safety advice and warnings!

Read these instructions carefully before switching on the

appliance and keep them for future reference. Failure to follow

and observe these instructions could lead to an accident. Clean

all the parts of the product as indicated in the cleaning section,

before use.

2.1. Use or working environment:

2.1.1. Keep the working area clean and well lit. Cluttered and

dark areas invite accidents.

2.1.2. Use the appliance in a well ventilated area.

2.1.3. Do not place the appliance on hot surfaces, such as

cooking plates, gas burners, ovens or similar items.

2.1.4. Keep children and bystanders away when using this

appliance.

2.1.5. Place the appliance on a horizontal, flat, stable surface

suitable for withstanding high temperatures and away from

other heat sources and contact with water.(if applicable).

2.1.6. Keep the appliance away from flammable material such

as textiles, curtains, cardboard or paper, etc. (if applicable).

2.1.7. Do not place flammable material near the appliance.

2.1.8. Do not use the appliance in association with a program-

mer, timer or other device that automatically switches it on.

2.1.9. Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.

matches the mains power supply voltage before plugging in

the appliance.

2.1.11. Connect the appliance to the mains power supply with

2.3.12. Do not use the machine without the motor protection

filter fitted.

2.3.13. Please empty the dust cylinder immediately when it

is full.

2.3.14. Do not allow objects to restrict or block airflow.

2.3.15. Do not allow any body parts e.g.: hair, fingers, hand

etc., to block the airflow of the cleaner as this puts unneces-

sary strain on the motor and can cause the motor to burn out.

2.3.16. Please keep suction inlet away from ear area due to

excessive noise levels when in operation.

2.4. Service:

2.4.1. Make sure that the appliance is serviced only by suitably

qualified technician, and that only original spare parts or acces-

sories are used to replace existing parts/accessories.

2.4.2. If the supply cord is damaged, the manufacturer or its

service agent or a similarly qualified person must replace it in

order to avoid a hazard. (if applicable).

2.4.3. Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use

renders the guarantee and the manufacturer’s liability null

and void.

3. Instructions for use

3.1. Before use:

3.1.1. Remove the appliance’s protective film (if applicable).

3.1.2. Before using the product for the first time, clean the parts

in the manner described in the cleaning section.

3.1.3. Before the first operation, make sure the dust tank is

properly installed.

3.2. Assembly and use:

3.2.1. Assembly: Forcefully insert the brush into the suction

inlet of the dust cup, making sure the connection is firm. Align

the metal tube with the hole in the centre of the handle and

push it through

3.2.2. Before Use: Confirm that the HEPA filter is installed inside

the dust tank, then put the dust tank back on the main unit.

3.2.3. Operating: Once assembled, press the switch to begin

using the vacuum.

3.2.4. Using Accessories: To clean gaps and other small

areas, remove the brush and insert the crevice tool into the

suction inlet.

3.3. Mopping Accesorry Instructions for use:

3.3.1. When using the mopping accessory, there are two

modes to choose from:

• Mode 1: As you mop, the soft silicone fittings on the bottom

of the water tank are squeezed, which increases the pressure

inside the sealed tank. This causes water to constantly flow out

and wet the mop pad

• Mode 2: If the mop is not wet enough but there is still water

in the tank, you can lightly step on the tank. This will squeeze

the liquid out of the tank and onto the mop pad.

3.4. Battery Safety and Instruction warning:

3.4.1. This product contains non-replaceable, rechargeable

Lithium-ion batteries.

3.4.2. Do not disassemble, open, drop, crush, bend, puncture,

or shred the batteries.

3.4.3. Do not modify, remanufacture, or attempt to insert

foreign objects into the battery. Do not immerse the battery in

water or other liquids, or expose it to fire, excessive heat, or a

microwave oven.

3.4.4. Do not short-circuit a battery or allow metallic or con-

ductive objects to touch both terminals at the same time.

3.4.5. Improper battery use can cause a fire, explosion, or

other hazards.

3.4.6. Supervise children when they use the vacuum or battery.

3.4.7. Toxic fumes and materials can be created when lithiu-

mion batteries are burned. The electrolyte in the batteries is a

mixture of liquid organic carbonates and lithium salts.

3.4.8. Contact with Skin/Eyes: If battery contents come into

contact with your skin, immediately wash the area with mild

soap and water. If battery liquid gets in your eye, rinse the

open eye with water for at least 15 minutes or until the irritation

stops. Seek medical attention if needed.

3.5. Charging Safety Warnings and Instructions

3.5.1. Before using the battery charger, read all instructions and

warnings on the charger and the product that uses the battery.

3.5.2. To reduce the risk of injury, use this charger only with

this product. Using the charger with other products could cause

batteries to burst, leading to personal injury or damage.

3.5.3. Do not expose the charger to rain or snow.

3.5.4. To reduce the risk of damage to the electric plug and

cord, pull the plug, not the cord, when disconnecting the

charger.

3.5.5. Make sure the cord is placed so that it will not be

stepped on, tripped over, or subjected to damage or stress.

3.5.6. Use only one charger when charging.

3.5.7. Do not attempt to open the charger; it contains no

customer-serviceable parts. Return it to an authorized service

centre for repair.

3.5.8. Do not charge or use the battery in explosive atmos-

pheres, such as where flammable liquids, gases, or dust are

present. Inserting or removing the battery from the charger can

ignite dust or fumes.

4. Cleaning:

4.1.1. For the best performance, you should empty the dust

cup and clean the filter after each use.

4.1.2. Press the dust cup release button to remove it from the

main unit.

4.1.3. Pull out the dust cup filter.

4.1.4. Empty the dust from the dust cup container.

4.1.5. Rinse the filter in cold water and let it air dry for 24 hours

before putting it back in the dust cup container.

3. Gebruiksaanwysings

3.1. Voor gebruik:

3.1.1. Verwyder die toestel se beskermende film (indien van

toepassing).

3.1.2. Voordat u die produk vir die eerste keer gebruik, maak

die onderdele skoon op die manier wat in die skoonmaakafde-

ling beskryf word.

3.1.3. Maak seker dat die stoftenk behoorlik geïnstalleer is voor

die eerste gebruik.

3.2. Montering en gebruik:

3.2.1. Montering: Steek die borsel kragtig in die suiginlaat van

die stofhouer en maak seker dat die verbinding stewig is. Rig

die metaalbuis met die gat in die middel van die handvatsel en

druk dit deur.

3.2.2. Voor gebruik: Bevestig dat die HEPA-filter binne die

stoftenk geïnstalleer is en plaas dan die stoftenk terug op die

hoofeenheid.
