Thank you for purchasing a Mellerware product. Mellerware guarantees
that your product has been thoroughly inspected and tested before being
dispatched and is free from mechanical or electrical defects and complies
with the applicable safety standards. With every Mellerware product
purchased you will receive up to a 3 year warranty as detailed in the terms
and conditions below.
FIRST YEAR 1 YEAR RETAIL WARRANTY
domestic use, within 12 months from the original date of purchase please
return the product to the store from where it was purchased for a refund
or replacement at the discretion of the brand. Mellerware appliances are
intended for domestic use only and not for industrial or professional use.
The Warranty, if the product is used outside of domestic use or used in a
commercial environment, is reduced to 3 months with no extended war-
ranty available, all other terms and conditions applicable.
SECOND YEAR OPTIONAL 1 YEAR ADDITIONAL EXTENDED
ONLINE WARRANTY REGISTRATION

better condition, if the repair cannot be conducted for whatever reason.
Should the product fall outside of the warranty, Mellerware will produce a
repair and delivery quotation for your approval.

consultants will gladly assist with the online warranty registration. Should

THIRD YEAR OPTIONAL 1 YEAR ADDITIONAL EXTENDED
COMMUNICATION OPT IN WARRANTY
Mellerware takes pride in its product quality and therefore offer an addi-
tional 12 month warranty over and above the 1 Year Retail and 1 year
online registration warranty. Should defects due to faulty material or
workmanship develop, under normal domestic use, after the initial 12 month
period, the extended online registration 12 month period and within 36
months from the original date of purchase, please return the product to
Mellerware for repair. Mellerware will assess and repair the product free of
charge should it be found to be a valid warranty claim and will return it to
you directly. Mellerware will replace a product with a similar product in the
same or better condition, if the repair cannot be conducted for whatever
reason. Should the product fall outside of the warranty, Mellerware will
produce a repair and delivery quotation for your approval.

to receive brand communication. The extended warranty is conditional
upon these requirements. Please note that you are however free to opt
out at any stage in accordance with the POPI act, this will however result
in you forfeiting this additional extended “communication opt in” warranty
from the recorded opt-out date.
Before returning your product, check the following:
Your household mains supply socket is in good condition, working and
switched on.
The mains supply circuit is not overloaded (white trip switch on your
DB board is off).
You have read the trouble shooting guide in your Instructions for Use.
All accessories and parts are present.
The following conditions apply:
1. Please ensure you retain your original receipt as this must be
presented when making a claim under the terms of the warranty.
It is impossible to determine the warranty period without proof of
purchase, so please keep this in a safe place. (NB. Your original receipt
can be scanned onto the Mellerware website [www.mellerware.co.za]
or Creative Housewares (Pty) Ltd [www.creativehousewares.co.za]
for safe storage.)
2. If a refund or exchange is required the product must be complete
with all accessories, parts and packaging. Missing parts will render the
warranty void. Any refund or exchange remains at the brands discre-
tion beyond the implied warranty granted by the CPA.
3. Upon receipt of your appliance, check it for any transport damage to
ensure it is safe for use. Return it to the store as soon as possible for
exchange if damaged. The warranty is void if products are damaged
after use, so please do not use a damaged product.
4. Any alteration made to the appliance purchased will void the warranty.
5. Your product is designed for normal domestic household use. Failure
to read and comply with the instructions for use, cleaning and
maintenance will render your warranty void, so please read these
instructions carefully to ensure your safety, and to get the most effec-
tive use from the product (e.g. not removing limescale; water deposits;
insect infestation, and/or burnt products).
6. Any abuse, negligent, improper or accidental use or care will render
the warranty void and Creative Housewares (Pty) Ltd will not be
liable for any loss or damage.

liable for any circumstances not under the brands control.
11. This warranty does not apply to glass components, lters, consum-
ables, and other parts subject to fair wear and tear.
Repairs out of the warranty period:
If service or repair becomes necessary outside the warranty period, this
service is still available however all transport/postage, spares and labour
costs will be for the customers account. All chargeable repairs will require
the customers written acceptance of the quote. Once the go-ahead has
been received Mellerware will undertake to conduct the repair within a

4. Disassembly:
4.1. Make sure that the motor has stopped completely.
4.2. Disconnect the plug from the power outlet.
4.3. Disassemble by reversing the steps from images 1-6.
4.4. To remove the cutting plate easily, place a screwdriver between
the cutting plate and the head as illustrated and lift it up (image.12).
4.5. Press the fasten knob, move the head as per direction illustrated
on image 13, then you can take out the head.
5. Cleaning:
5.1. Remove meat, etc. Wash each part in warm soapy water.
A bleaching solution containing chlorine will discolor aluminum
surfaces.
5.2. Do not immerse the motor housing in water, but only wipe it with
a damp cloth.
5.3. Thinners and petrol will crack or change the color of the unit.
5.4. To prevent oxidation, after cleaning, dry all parts with dry cloth,
and then rub vegetable oil on cutting parts (metal plates, knife cutting
side) for maintenance.
6. Anomalies and repair
6.1. Take the appliance to an authorised technical support service if
product is damaged or other problems arise.
6.2. If the connection to the mains has been damaged, it must be re-
placed and you should proceed as you would in the case of damage.
7. Recycling:
7.1. These electrical products, cables, batteries, packaging, and
the manual, should not be mixed with general household waste. For
proper recycling, please take these products to your nearest Creative
Housewares office where they will be accepted for recycling free
of charge.
7.2. Alternatively, please contact your local authority or household
waste disposal service for further details of your nearest designated
collection point. Correct product disposal saves resources and
prevents negative effects on human health and the environment.

2. Veiligheidsadvies en waarskuwings!
Lees hierdie instruksies sorgvuldig deur voordat u die toestel

2.1.15. Indien enige van die toestel se omhulsels breek, ontkoppel
3.4. Stroombreker:
3.4.1. Die eenheid het ‘n ingeboude stroombreker. Indien dit abnor-
maal gebruik word, sal die stroombreker vir veiligheidsbeskerming
om die volgende redes aktiveer:
• Wanneer die werktemperatuur tot 95°C is, sal dit afskakel.
• Wanneer die stroom tot 5A is, sal dit ook afskakel.
3.4.2. Skakel die eenheid af en ontkoppel dit, laat dit vir ‘n paar
minute afkoel, die masjien kan daarna weer begin werk.
3.5. Omgekeerde funksie:
3.5.1. In geval van blokkering, skakel eers die toestel af en druk dan
die AAN/AF/R-skakelaar na die “R”-posisie.
3.5.2. Die slang sal in die teenoorgestelde rigting draai en die kop
sal leeg raak.
3.5.3. Indien dit nie werk nie, skakel die eenheid af en maak dit skoon.
3.5.4. Let op: Om die eenheid te beskerm, wag 10 sekondes wanneer
u die eenheid van “AAN” na “R” of van “R” na “AAN” skakel na die
vorige werkstoestand.
3.6. Maak Kubbe
Resep
Vulsel:
Skaapvleis: 100g
Olyfolie: 1 1/2 eetlepels
Ui (fyn gesny): 1 1/2 eetlepels
Speserye: na smaak
Sout: na smaak
Meel: 1 1/2 eetlepels
• Maal die skaapvleis een of twee keer.
• Braai die ui tot bruin en voeg die maalvleis, al die speserye, sout
en meel by.
Vulsel:
Maer vleis: 450g
Meel: 150-200g
Speserye: na jou smaak
Nuutmuskaat (fyn gesny): 1
Gemaalde rooipeper: na jou smaak
Peper: na jou smaak
• Maal die vleis drie keer en meng al die bestanddele saam in ‘n
bak. Meer vleis en minder meel vir die uitlaatdeksel skep beter
konsekwentheid en smaak.
• Maal die mengsel drie keer.
• Demonteer deur die stappe van beelde 5-3 om te keer om die
snyplaat en snylem te verwyder.
• Plaas kubbe-aanhegsels (12) saam op die toevoerskroefas, en pas
die uitsteeksels in die gleuwe (beeld.8).
• Skroef die doppie vas totdat dit styf is. Moenie te styf draai nie
(beeld.9).
Maak die silindriese uitlaatdeksel (beeld.10).
• Vorm kubbe soos hieronder geïllustreer en diepbraai.
3.7. Wors maak:
3.7.1. Voordat u begin, moet u die worsaanhegsel soos volg monteer
(beeld 11)
4. Demontage:
4.1. Maak seker dat die motor heeltemal gestop het.
4.2. Ontkoppel die prop van die kragtoevoer.
4.3. Demonteer deur die stappe van beelde 1-6 om te keer.
4.4. Om die snyplaat maklik te verwyder, plaas ‘n skroewedraaier tus-
sen die snyplaat en die kop soos geïllustreer en lig dit op (beeld 12).
4.5. Druk die bevestigingsknop, beweeg die kop volgens die rigting
wat op beeld 13 geïllustreer word, dan kan jy die kop uithaal.
5. Skoonmaak:
5.1. Verwyder vleis, ens. Was elke onderdeel in warm seepwater. ‘n
Bleikoplossing wat chloor bevat, sal aluminiumoppervlaktes verkleur.
5.2. Moenie die motorhuis in water dompel nie, maar vee dit slegs
met ‘n klam lap af.
5.3. Verdunners en petrol sal die eenheid kraak of die kleur daarvan
verander.
5.4. Om oksidasie te voorkom, droog alle dele na skoonmaak met ‘n
droë lap af en vryf dan plantaardige olie op die snydele (metaalplate,
mes-snykant) vir onderhoud.
6. Afwykings en herstel
6.1. Neem die toestel na gemagtigde tegniese sentrum as toestel
beskadig is of probleme ontstaan.
6.2. As koneksie na die muurprop beskadig is moet die koord en prop
vervang word.
7. Herwinning:
7.1. Hierdie elektriese produkte, kabels, batterye, verpakking en die
handleiding moet nie met algemene huishoudelike afval gemeng word
nie. Vir behoorlike herwinning, neem asseblief hierdie produkte na u
naaste Creative Housewares-kantoor waar hulle gratis vir herwinning
aanvaar sal word.
7.2. Alternatiewelik, kontak asseblief u plaaslike owerheid of
huishoudelike afvalverwyderingsdiens vir verdere besonderhede oor

2. Safety advice and warnings!
Read these instructions carefully before switching on the appliance
and keep them for future reference. Failure to follow and observe
these instructions could lead to an accident. Clean all the parts of the
product that will be in contact with food, as indicated in the cleaning
section, before use.
2.1. Use or working environment:
2.1.1. Keep the working area clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark
areas invite accidents.
2.1.2. Use the appliance in a well ventilated area.
2.1.3. Do not place the appliance on hot surfaces, such as cooking
plates, gas burners, ovens or similar items.
2.1.4. Keep children and bystanders away when using this appliance.
2.1.5. Place the appliance on a horizontal, flat, stable surface, suitable
for withstanding high temperatures and away from other heat sources
and contact with water.
2.1.6. Keep the appliance away from flammable material such as
textiles, cardboard or paper, etc.
2.1.7. Do not place flammable material near the appliance.
2.1.8. Do not use the appliance in association with a programmer,
timer or other device that automatically switches it on.
2.1.9. Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.
2.1.10. Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating label matches
the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
2.1.11. Connect the appliance to the mains power supply with an earth
socket withstanding a minimum of 10 amperes.
2.1.12. The appliance’s plug must fit into the mains socket properly.
Do not alter the plug.
2.1.13. If using a multi plug check ratings carefully as the current used
by several appliances could easily exceed the rating of the multi plug.
2.1.14. Only use the appliance with the specific temperature control
unit provided.
2.1.15. If any of the appliance casings breaks, immediately disconnect
shock.
2.1.16. Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor or if there
are visible signs of damage.
2.1.17. Do not force the power cord. Never use the power cord to lift
up, carry or unplug the appliance.

2.2.2. Do not touch the heated parts of the appliance, as it may cause

2.2.3. This appliance is only for domestic use, not for industrial or
professional use. It is not intended to be used by guests in hospitality
environments such as bed and breakfast, hotels, motels, and other
types of residential environments, even in farm houses, areas of the
kitchen staff in shops, offices and other work environments.
2.2.4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
2.2.5. This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
2.3. Use and care:
2.3.1. Fully unroll the appliance’s power cable before each use.
2.3.2. Do not use the appliance if the parts or accessories are not
properly fitted.
2.3.3. Do not use the appliance when empty.
2.3.4. Do not turn the appliance over while it is in use or connected to
the mains power supply.
2.3.5. Do not cover the cooking surface or food with aluminium foil
and other similar materials. (if applicable)
2.3.6. Unplug the appliance from the mains power supply when not in
use and before undertaking any cleaning task.
2.3.7. This appliance should be stored out of reach of children.
2.3.8. Do not store the appliance if it is still hot.
2.3.9. Never leave the appliance unattended when in use and keep out
of the reach of children.
2.3.10. If, for some reason, the appliance were to catch fire, discon-
nect the appliance from the mains power supply and DO NOT USE
WATER TO PUT THE FIRE OUT.
2.3.11. When carrying the unit be sure to hold the body with both
hands. Do not carry the unit by the food tray or head.
2.3.12. Do not fix the cutting blade and cutting plate when using kubbe
attachment.
2.3.13. The cutting side must face out when assembly knife, if wrong,
cannot grind meat.
2.3.14. Never push products by hand. Use food pusher.
2.3.15. Do not grind hard food such as bones, nuts, etc.
2.3.16. Do not grind ginger and other materials with hard fiber.
2.3.17. Continuous running of meat grinder should be no more than 10
minutes with the following 10 minutes interval for motor cooling.
2.3.18. Wait 10 seconds when operate the unit from “ON” to “R” or
from “R” to “ON” after the previous working condition, or it may cause
some abnormal case such as moving up and down and easily damage
the machine.
2.3.19. To avoid jamming, do not force to operate the unit with
excessive pressure.
2.3.20. When the circuit breaker activates, do not switch on.
2.3.21. Never try to replace the parts and repair the unit by yourself.
2.3.22. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before
changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
2.3.23. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left
unattended and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.
2.4. Service:
2.4.1. Make sure that the appliance is serviced only by suitably quali-
fied technician, and that only original spare parts or accessories are
used to replace existing parts/accessories.
2.4.2. If the supply cord is damaged, the manufacturer or its service
agent or a similarly qualified person must replace it in order to avoid
a hazard.
2.4.3. Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use renders
the guarantee and the manufacturer’s liability null and void.
3. Instructions for use
3.1. Before use:
3.1.1. Remove all packaging.
3.1.2. Wash all parts (except body) in warm soapy water.
3.1.3. Before plug in, ensure the ON/OFF/R switch is in “OFF” position.
3.2. Assembly:
3.2.1. Press the lock button, hold the head and insert it into the inlet
(when inserting pay attention the head must be slanted as per arrow
indicated ,see image.1),then move the head anticlockwise so that the
head being fastened tightly . It will be locked when you hear the click
sound (image.2)
3.2.2. Place the snake into the head end and turn it slightly until it is set
into the motor housing (image 3).
3.2.3. Place the cutting blade onto the snake shaft, Attention: the
cutting side must face out (image.4). If it is not fitted properly, meat
will not be grinded.
3.2.4. Place the desired cutting plate next to the cutting blade, fitting
protrusions in the slot (image.5).
3.2.5. Support or press the centre of the cutting plate with one finger
then screw the fixing ring tight with another hand (image.6). Do not
over tighten.
3.2.6. Place the food tray on the head and fix it into position.
3.2.7. Place the unit on a stable surface.
3.2.8. The air passage at the bottom and the side of the motor housing
should be kept free and not blocked.
Cutting side face out
3.3. Mincing meat:
3.3.1. Cut all foods into pieces (Sinewless, boneless and fatless meat
is recommended, approximate size: 20 mm x 20 mm x 60 mm) so that
they fit easily into the hopper opening.
3.3.2. Plug the unit on and switch ON/O/R direction switch to “ON”
position.
3.3.3. Feed foods into the food tray. Use the food pusher (image.7).
3.3.4. After use switch the unit off and unplug it from the power supply.
3.4. Circuit breaker:
3.4.1. The unit has built-in circuit breaker, if used abnormally, the
breaker will activate for safety protection for reasons below:
• When working temperature up to 95°C, it will cut off.
• When working currents up to 5A, it will cut off too.
3.4.2. Switch off and unplug the unit, let it cool down for a few
minutes, the machine can start working again thereafter.
3.5. Reverse function:
3.5.1. In case of jamming Switch Off the appliance first, then press the
ON/OFF/R switch to “R” position.
3.5.2. The snake will be rotating in the opposite direction, and the head
will get empty.
3.5.3. If it doesn’t work, switch off the unit and clean it.
3.5.4. Pay attention: To protect the unit, wait 10 seconds when switch-
ing the unit from “ON” to “R” or from “R” to “ON” after the previous
working condition.
3.6. Making Kubbe
Recipe
Stuffing:
Mutton: 100g
Olive oil: 1 1/2 tablespoons
Onion (cut finely): 1 1/2 tablespoons
Spices: to your taste
Salt: to your taste
Flour: 1 1/2 tablespoons
• Mince mutton once or twice.
• Fry onion until brown and add minces mutton, all spice, salt and
flour.
Stuffing:
Lean meat: 450g
Flour: 150-200g
Spices: to your taste
Nutmeg (cut finely): 1
Powdered red pepper: to your taste
Pepper: to your taste
• Mince meat three times and mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
More meat and less flour for outlet cover create better consistency
and taste.
• Grind the mixture three times.
• Disassemble by reversing the steps from images 5-3 to remove the
cutting plate and cutting blade.
• Place kubbe attachments (12) onto the feed screw shaft together,
fitting protrusions in the slots (Image.8).
• Screw cap into place until tight. Do not over tighten (image.9).
• Make the cylindrical outlet cover (image.10).
• Form kubbe as illustrated below and deep fry.
3.7. Making sausage:
3.7.1. Before starting please assembly sausage attachment as per

2.3. Gebruik en sorg:
2.3.1. Rol die toestel se kragkabel volledig af voor elke gebruik.
2.3.2. Moenie die toestel gebruik as die onderdele of bykomstighede
nie behoorlik gemonteer is nie.
2.3.3. Moenie die toestel gebruik wanneer dit leeg is nie.
2.3.4. Moenie die toestel omdraai terwyl dit gebruik word of aan die
hoofkragtoevoer gekoppel is nie.
2.3.5. Moenie die kookoppervlak of kos met aluminiumfoelie of ander
soortgelyke materiale bedek nie. (indien van toepassing).
2.3.6. Ontkoppel die toestel van die hoofkragtoevoer wanneer dit nie
gebruik word nie en voordat u enige skoonmaaktaak onderneem.
2.3.7. Hierdie toestel moet buite bereik van kinders gebêre word.
2.3.8. Moenie die toestel bêre as dit nog warm is nie.
2.3.9. Moet nooit die toestel sonder toesig los wanneer dit in gebruik is
nie en hou dit buite bereik van kinders.
2.3.10. Indien die toestel om een of ander rede aan die brand sou
slaan, ontkoppel die toestel van die hoofkragtoevoer en MOENIE
WATER GEBRUIK OM DIE VUUR TE BLUS NIE.
2.3.11. Wanneer jy die eenheid dra, maak seker dat jy die liggaam met
albei hande vashou. Moenie die eenheid aan die kosbak of kop dra nie.
2.3.12. Moenie die snylem en snyplaat vasmaak wanneer jy die kubbe-
aanhegsel gebruik nie.
2.3.13. Die snykant moet na buite wys wanneer die monteermes
verkeerd is en nie vleis kan maal nie.
2.3.14. Moet nooit produkte met die hand stoot nie. Gebruik die
kosstoter.
2.3.15. Moenie harde kos soos bene, neute, ens. maal nie.
2.3.16. Moenie gemmer en ander materiale met harde vesel maal nie.
2.3.17. Die vleismeul moet nie langer as 10 minute aanhou loop nie,
met die volgende 10 minute interval vir die afkoeling van die motor.
2.3.18. Wag 10 sekondes wanneer die eenheid van “AAN” na “R” of
van “R” na “AAN” na die vorige werktoestand beweeg word, anders
kan dit abnormale situasies veroorsaak, soos op en af beweeg, wat die
masjien maklik kan beskadig.
2.3.19. Om vassteek te voorkom, moenie die eenheid met oormatige
druk forseer nie.
2.3.20. Moenie die stroombreker aanskakel wanneer dit aktiveer nie.
2.3.21. Moet nooit probeer om die onderdele te vervang en die eenheid
self te herstel nie.
2.3.22. Skakel die toestel af en ontkoppel die kragtoevoer voordat u
bykomstighede verander of onderdele wat tydens gebruik beweeg,
benader.
2.3.23. Ontkoppel altyd die toestel van die kragtoevoer as dit onbewaak
gelaat word en voor montering, demontage of skoonmaak.
2.4. Diens:
2.4.1. Die toestel moet deur ‘n gekwalifiseerde tegnikus gediens word.
2.4.2. As die koord beskadig word moet dit deur die diensa gent of ‘n
gekwalifiseerde person vervang word om brandgevaar te verhoed.
2.4.3. Enige misbruik en mislukking om instruksies te volg lewer die
waarborg nul en van gener waarde.
3. Instruksies vir gebruik:
3.1. Voor gebruik:
3.1.1. Verwyder alle verpakking.
3.1.2. Was alle dele (behalwe die liggaam) in warm seepwater.

3.2. Saamstel:
3.2.1. Druk die sluitknoppie, hou die kop vas en plaas dit in die inlaat

sodat die kop styf vasgemaak word. Dit sal gesluit wees wanneer jy die

3.2.2. Plaas die slang in die kopkant en draai dit effens totdat dit in die
motorhuis pas (beeld 3).
3.2.3. Plaas die snylem op die slangas. Let op: die snykant moet na
buite wys (beeld 4). As dit nie behoorlik gepas is nie, sal die vleis nie
gemaal word nie.
3.2.4. Plaas die verlangde snyplaat langs die snylem en pas die
uitsteeksels in die gleuf (beeld 5).
3.2.5. Ondersteun of druk die middel van die snyplaat met een vinger
en skroef dan die bevestigingsring styf met die ander hand (beeld 6).
Moenie te styf vasdraai nie.
3.2.6. Plaas die kosbak op die kop en maak dit vas.
3.2.7. Plaas die eenheid op ‘n stabiele oppervlak.
3.2.8. Die luggang aan die onderkant en die kant van die motorhuis
moet vry gehou word en nie geblokkeer word nie.
Snykant na buite
3.3. Vleismaal:
3.3.1. Sny alle kos in stukke (seunlose, beenlose en vetlose vleis word
aanbeveel, benaderde grootte: 20 mm x 20 mm x 60 mm) sodat dit
maklik in die trechteropening pas.
3.3.2. Koppel die eenheid aan en skakel die AAN/O/R-rigtingskakelaar
na die “AAN”-posisie.
3.3.3. Voer kos in die kosbak. Gebruik die kosstoter (beeld 7).
3.3.4. Skakel die eenheid af na gebruik en ontkoppel dit van die
kragtoevoer.
