REGISTER YOUR MELLERWARE WARRANTY
Thank you for purchasing a Mellerware product. Mellerware guarantees
that your product has been thoroughly inspected and tested before being
dispatched and is free from mechanical or electrical defects and complies
with the applicable safety standards. With every Mellerware product
purchased you will receive up to a 3 year warranty as detailed in the terms
and conditions below.
FIRST YEAR – 1 YEAR RETAIL WARRANTY
Should defects due to faulty parts or workmanship develop, under normal
domestic use, within 12 months from the original date of purchase please
return the product to the store from where it was purchased for a refund
or replacement at the discretion of the brand. Mellerware appliances are
intended for domestic use only and not for industrial or professional use.
The Warranty, if the product is used outside of domestic use or used in a
commercial environment, is reduced to 3 months with no extended war-
ranty available, all other terms and conditions applicable.
SECOND YEAR – OPTIONAL 1 YEAR ADDITIONAL EXTENDED
ONLINE WARRANTY REGISTRATION
Mellerware takes pride in its product quality and therefore offer an
extended 12 month warranty over and above the 1 Year Retail Warranty.
Should defects due to faulty material or workmanship develop, under normal
domestic use, after the initial 12 month period and within 24 months from
the original date of purchase, please return the product to Mellerware for
repair. Mellerware will assess and repair the product free of charge should
it be found to be a valid warranty claim and will return it to you directly.
Mellerware will replace a product with a similar product in the same or
better condition, if the repair cannot be conducted for whatever reason.
Should the product fall outside of the warranty, Mellerware will produce a
repair and delivery quotation for your approval.

consultants will gladly assist with the online warranty registration. Should

THIRD YEAR – OPTIONAL 1 YEAR ADDITIONAL EXTENDED
COMMUNICATION OPT IN WARRANTY
Mellerware takes pride in its product quality and therefore offer an addi-
tional 12 month warranty over and above the 1 Year Retail and 1 year
online registration warranty. Should defects due to faulty material or
workmanship develop, under normal domestic use, after the initial 12 month
period, the extended online registration 12 month period and within 36
months from the original date of purchase, please return the product to
Mellerware for repair. Mellerware will assess and repair the product free of
charge should it be found to be a valid warranty claim and will return it to
you directly. Mellerware will replace a product with a similar product in the
same or better condition, if the repair cannot be conducted for whatever
reason. Should the product fall outside of the warranty, Mellerware will
produce a repair and delivery quotation for your approval.

co.za. Should you experience any technical difculties you are welcome

consultants will gladly assist with the online warranty registration and
opt-in email communication. Should you wish to qualify for the additional
third year extended warranty, you would need to have registered your
warranty within the rst 12 months from date of purchase and subscribed
to receive brand communication. The extended warranty is conditional
upon these requirements. Please note that you are however free to opt
out at any stage in accordance with the POPI act, this will however result
in you forfeiting this additional extended “communication opt in” warranty
from the recorded opt-out date.
Before returning your product, check the following:
•Your household mains supply socket is in good condition, working and
switched on.
• The mains supply circuit is not overloaded (white trip switch on your
DB board is off).
•You have read the trouble shooting guide in your Instructions for Use.
•All accessories and parts are present.
The following conditions apply:
1. Please ensure you retain your original receipt as this must be
presented when making a claim under the terms of the warranty.
It is impossible to determine the warranty period without proof of
purchase, so please keep this in a safe place. (NB. Your original receipt
can be scanned onto the Mellerware website [www.mellerware.co.za]
or Creative Housewares (Pty) Ltd [www.creativehousewares.co.za]
for safe storage.)
2. If a refund or exchange is required the product must be complete
with all accessories, parts and packaging. Missing parts will render the
warranty void. Any refund or exchange remains at the brands discre-
tion beyond the implied warranty granted by the CPA.
3. Upon receipt of your appliance, check it for any transport damage to
ensure it is safe for use. Return it to the store as soon as possible for
exchange if damaged. The warranty is void if products are damaged
after use, so please do not use a damaged product.
4. Any alteration made to the appliance purchased will void the warranty.
5. Your product is designed for normal domestic household use. Failure
to read and comply with the instructions for use, cleaning and
maintenance will render your warranty void, so please read these
instructions carefully to ensure your safety, and to get the most effec-
tive use from the product (e.g. not removing limescale; water deposits;
insect infestation, and/or burnt products).
6. Any abuse, negligent, improper or accidental use or care will render
the warranty void and Creative Housewares (Pty) Ltd will not be
liable for any loss or damage.
7. Any attempted repair, or replacement of unauthorised parts will ren-
der the warranty void, so please contact an authorised service centre
or service agent for any service or repair requirements.
8. NB: The warranty on replaced products will be from the original date
of purchase and not from when the date replacement was made.
9. All repairs carry a 3 month warranty even if this falls outside of the
warranty period.
10. Mellerware will attempt to conduct repairs within reasonable time,
this in line with industry standards but cannot be held responsible or
liable for any circumstances not under the brand’s control.
11. This warranty does not apply to glass components, lters, consum-
ables, and other parts subject to fair wear and tear.
Repairs out of the warranty period:
If service or repair becomes necessary outside the warranty period, this
service is still available however all transport/postage, spares and labour
costs will be for the customers’ account. All chargeable repairs will require
the customers’ written acceptance of the quote. Once the go-ahead has
been received Mellerware will undertake to conduct the repair within a
reasonable time and maintain the condition of the product as received. All
repairs carry a warranty of 3 months from the date of the repair.

3.4. Use: General notes
To start a cooking session:
3.4.1. Place the food in the microwave oven and close the door
securely.
3.4.2. Turn the power level dial to select the desired power level.
3.4.3. Turn the timer dial to set the required cooking time.
NOTE:
Cooking begins immediately once the timer dial is turned.
When setting a cooking time of less than 2 minutes, turn the
timer dial past the 2-minute mark first, then turn it back to the
desired time.
CAUTION:
Always return the timer dial to the “0” position if food is removed
before the set cooking time has elapsed or when the microwave
oven is not in use.
To stop the microwave oven during operation, press the door
release button or open the door using the handle.
4. Cleaning
4.1. Before cleaning, disconnect the appliance from the mains
power supply and allow it to cool completely.
4.2. Clean the microwave regularly and remove any food deposits
to maintain safe and efficient operation.
4.3. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids.
4.4. Failure to keep the microwave clean may cause deterioration
of surfaces, reduce the appliance’s lifespan, and create a potential
safety hazard.
4.5. Never use abrasive detergents, powders, or a metal brush to
clean any part of the appliance.
4.6. Do not remove the waveguide cover.
4.7. If the microwave develops odours after extended use, try one
of the following methods to remove them:
a. Place several lemon slices in a cup and heat on high microwave
power for 2–3 minutes.
b. Place a cup of tea in the microwave and heat on high micro-
wave power for 2–3 minutes.
c. Place some orange peel in the microwave and heat on high
microwave power for 1 minute.
4.8. Wipe the exterior of the microwave with a damp cloth.
4.9. Use a damp, soft cloth to clean the door and window.
4.10. Wipe the door seals and surrounding areas to remove any
spills or splashes.
4.11. Wipe the control panel with a slightly damp soft cloth.
4.12. Wipe the interior walls with a damp soft cloth.
4.13. Clean the waveguide cover carefully to remove any food
splashes.
4.14. Clean the turntable with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly
with clean water, and allow it to dry completely before use.
5. Anomalies and repair
5.1. Take the appliance to an authorised support centre if product
is damaged or other problems arise.
5.2. If the connection to the mains has been damaged, it must
be replaced and you should proceed as you would in the case
of damage.
PLEASE NOTE ALL COOKING TIMES ARE A GUIDELINE ONLY.
COOKING TIMES MAY VARY DEPENDING ON THE SIZE OF THE
FOOD.
6. Recycling
6.1. These electrical products, cables, batteries, packaging, and
the manual, should not be mixed with general household waste.
For proper recycling, please take these products to your nearest
Creative Housewares office where they will be accepted for
recycling free of charge.
6.2. Alternatively, please contact your local authority or household
waste disposal service for further details of your nearest
designated collection point. Correct product disposal saves
resources and prevents negative effects on human health and the
environment.

2. Veiligheidsadvies en waarskuwings!
Lees hierdie instruksies noukeurig deur voordat u die toestel
aanskakel en hou dit vir toekomstige verwysing. Versuim om

Vir slegs mikrogolfkook is ses kragvlakke beskikbaar om aan
verskillende kookvereistes te voldoen.
Draai die krag-/aksie-skakelaar kloksgewys om die kragvlak te
verhoog.

3.3. Gebruik en versorging:

3.3.2. Maak die mikrogolfoonddeur oop.
3.3.3. Plaas die voedselhouer op die glasdraaitafel en maak die
deur stewig toe.
3.3.4. Kies die verlangde kragvlak deur die kragvlakskakelaar
te draai.
3.3.5. Stel die kooktyd in deur die timerskakelaar te draai. Kook
sal outomaties begin sodra die timer ingestel is.
3.3.6. Om kook tydens werking te onderbreek, maak die deur
enige tyd oop. Maak die deur toe om kook te hervat.
3.3.7. Wanneer kook voltooi is, sal ‘n klokkie lui en die binnelig
sal outomaties afskakel.
3.3.8. As kos verwyder word voordat die ingestelde tyd verstryk
het, maak seker dat die timer na die “0”-posisie terugbesorg
word. Dit verhoed dat die mikrogolfoond sonder ‘n lading werk.
3.4. Gebruik: Algemene notas
Om ‘n kooksessie te begin:
3.4.1. Plaas die kos in die mikrogolfoond en maak die deur
stewig toe.
3.4.2. Draai die kragvlak-skakelaar om die verlangde kragvlak
te kies.
3.4.3. Draai die timer-skakelaar om die verlangde kooktyd in
te stel.
LET WEL:
Kook begin onmiddellik sodra die timer-skakelaar gedraai word.
Wanneer ‘n kooktyd van minder as 2 minute ingestel word, draai
die timer-skakelaar eers verby die 2-minuut-merk en draai dit
dan terug na die verlangde tyd.
WAARSKUWING:
Stuur die timer-skakelaar altyd terug na die “0”-posisie as kos
verwyder word voordat die ingestelde kooktyd verstryk het of
wanneer die mikrogolfoond nie gebruik word nie.
Om die mikrogolfoond tydens werking te stop, druk die deuront-
grendelingsknoppie of maak die deur oop met die handvatsel.
4. Skoonmaak
4.1. Ontkoppel die toestel van die hoofkragtoevoer en laat dit
heeltemal afkoel voordat u dit skoonmaak.
4.2. Maak die mikrogolfoond gereeld skoon en verwyder
enige voedselafsettings om veilige en doeltreffende werking te
handhaaf.
4.3. Moenie die toestel in water of enige ander vloeistowwe
dompel nie.
4.4. Versuim om die mikrogolfoond skoon te hou, kan veroor-
saak dat oppervlaktes agteruitgaan, die toestel se lewensduur
verminder en ‘n potensiële veiligheidsgevaar skep.
4.5. Moet nooit skuurmiddels, poeiers of ‘n metaalborsel gebruik
om enige deel van die toestel skoon te maak nie.
4.6. Moenie die golfgeleierbedekking verwyder nie.
4.7. As die mikrogolfoond na langdurige gebruik reuke ontwikkel,
probeer een van die volgende metodes om dit te verwyder:
a. Plaas ‘n paar suurlemoenskyfies in ‘n koppie en verhit dit vir
2-3 minute op hoë mikrogolfkrag.
b. Plaas ‘n koppie tee in die mikrogolfoond en verhit dit vir 2-3
minute op hoë mikrogolfkrag.
c. Plaas ‘n bietjie lemoenskil in die mikrogolfoond en verhit dit vir
1 minuut op hoë mikrogolfkrag.
4.8. Vee die buitekant van die mikrogolfoond af met ‘n klam lap.
4.9. Gebruik ‘n klam, sagte lap om die deur en venster skoon
te maak.
4.10. Vee die deurseëls en omliggende areas af om enige
gemors of spatsels te verwyder.
4.11. Vee die beheerpaneel af met ‘n effens klam sagte lap.
4.12. Vee die binnemure af met ‘n klam sagte lap.
4.13. Maak die golfgeleierdeksel versigtig skoon om enige
kosspatsels te verwyder.
4.14. Maak die draaitafel skoon met warm seepwater, spoel
deeglik af met skoon water en laat dit heeltemal droog word
voor gebruik.
5. Anomalieë en herstelwerk
5.1. Neem die toestel na ‘n gemagtigde ondersteuningsentrum
indien die produk beskadig is of ander probleme ontstaan.
5.2. Indien die aansluiting aan die hoofstroom beskadig is, moet
dit vervang word en moet u voortgaan soos u sou in die geval
van skade.

Read these instructions carefully before switching on the appli-
ance and keep them for future reference. Failure to follow and
observe these instructions could lead to an accident. Clean all the
parts of the product that will be in contact with food, as indicated
in the cleaning section, before use.
2.1. Use or working environment
2.1.1. Keep the working area clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark
areas invite accidents.
2.1.2. Use the appliance in a well ventilated area.
2.1.3. Do not place the appliance on hot surfaces, such as cook-
ing plates, gas burners, ovens or similar items.
2.1.4. Keep children and bystanders away when using this
appliance.
2.1.5. Place the appliance on a horizontal, flat, stable surface
suitable for withstanding high temperatures and away from other
heat sources and contact with water.
2.1.6. Keep the appliance away from flammable material such as
textiles, curtains, cardboard or paper, etc.
2.1.7. Do not place flammable material near the appliance.
2.1.8. Do not use the appliance in association with a programmer,
timer or other device that automatically switches it on.
2.1.9. Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.
2.1.10. Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating label
matches the mains power supply voltage before plugging in the
appliance.
2.1.11. Connect the appliance to the mains power supply with an
earth socket withstanding a minimum of 10 amperes.
2.1.12. The appliance’s plug must fit into the mains power supply

2.4. Utensils guide
2.4.1. Microwaves do not penetrate metal. Only use utensils that
are specifically designed and approved for microwave oven use.
Metal containers for food or beverages must not be used unless
the manufacturer clearly states that their size and shape are suit-
able for microwave cooking.
2.4.2. Do not use metal utensils or cookware with metallic trim,
as these materials can cause sparking and may damage the
microwave.
2.4.3. Do not use recycled paper products in the microwave, as
they may contain small metal particles that can cause sparks
and/or fire.
2.4.4. Round or oval dishes are recommended over square or
rectangular dishes, as food in the corners of square containers
tends to overcook.

2.5.1. Make sure that the appliance is serviced only by suitably
qualified technician, and that only original spare parts or acces-
sories are used to replace existing parts/accessories.
2.5.2. If the power cord is damaged, the manufacturer or its service
agent or a similarly qualified person must replace it in order to
avoid a hazard.
2.5.3. Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use
renders the guarantee and the manufacturer’s liability null and void.
3. Instructions for use:
3.1. Before use:
3.1.1. Before connecting the appliance to the power outlet, make
sure the timer is set to “0” position.
3.1.2. Before using the product for the first time, clean the parts
that will come into contact with food in the manner described in
the cleaning section.
3.1.3. Unroll the power cord completely before plugging it in.
3.1.4. Assemble the glass turn table by first placing the Roller
ring inside the microwave. Thereafter place the Glass tray on the
rotation ring ensuring that it lines up with the rotation axis.
3.1.5. Insert the plug into the power socket.
3.2. Control panel:
The control panel consists of two function operators. One is a
timer dial, and another a power dial.
3.2.1. Power / Action Dial
Use this dial to select the desired microwave power level. This is
the first step when starting a cooking session.
3.2.2. Timer Dial
Use this dial to set the cooking time. Simply turn the dial to select
the desired cooking duration, up to a maximum of 30 minutes per
cooking session.
3.2.3. Microwave Cooking
For microwave-only cooking, six power levels are available to suit
different cooking requirements.
Turn the power/action dial clockwise to increase the power level.

3.3. Use and care:
3.3.1. Place the appliance on a flat, dry, stable, and heat-resistant
surface.
3.3.2. Open the microwave oven door.
3.3.3. Place the food container on the glass turntable and close
the door securely.
3.3.4. Select the desired power level by turning the power level
dial.
3.3.5. Set the cooking time by turning the timer dial. Cooking will
begin automatically once the timer is set.
3.3.6. To pause cooking during operation, open the door at any
time. Close the door to resume cooking.
3.3.7. When cooking is complete, a bell will sound and the interior
light will switch off automatically.
3.3.8. If food is removed before the set time has elapsed, ensure
the timer is returned to the “0” position. This prevents the
microwave oven from operating without a load.

verstrengelde kabels verhoog die risiko van elektriese skok.
2.1.21. Die toestel is nie geskik vir buiteluggebruik nie.
2.1.22. Die kragkabel moet gereeld ondersoek word vir tekens van
skade, en indien die kabel beskadig is, moet die toestel nie gebruik
word nie.
2.1.23. Moenie die kragprop met nat hande aanraak nie om die

2.2. Persoonlike veiligheid:
2.2.1. WAARSKUWING: Moenie die toestel onbewaak laat tydens

(insluitend kinders) met verminderde fisiese, sensoriese of geeste-
like vermoëns, of ‘n gebrek aan ervaring en kennis nie, tensy hulle
toesig of instruksies ontvang het rakende die gebruik van die toestel
deur ‘n persoon wat verantwoordelik is vir hul veiligheid.
2.2.5. Hierdie toestel is nie ‘n speelding nie. Kinders moet onder
toesig wees om te verseker dat hulle nie met die toestel speel nie.
2.3. Gebruik en versorging:
2.3.1. Rol die toestel se kragkabel volledig af voor elke gebruik.
2.3.2. Moenie die toestel gebruik as die onderdele of bykom-
stighede nie behoorlik gemonteer is nie.
2.3.3. Moenie die toestel gebruik wanneer dit leeg is nie.
2.3.4. Moenie die toestel omdraai terwyl dit gebruik word of aan die
hoofkragtoevoer gekoppel is nie.
2.3.5. Moenie die kookoppervlak of kos met aluminiumfoelie en
ander soortgelyke materiale bedek nie.
2.3.6. Ontkoppel die toestel van die hoofkragtoevoer wanneer dit
nie gebruik word nie en voordat enige skoonmaaktaak onderneem

2.3.7. Hierdie toestel moet buite bereik van kinders gebêre word.
2.3.8. Moenie die toestel bêre as dit nog warm is nie.
2.3.9. Moet nooit die toestel sonder toesig laat wanneer dit in
gebruik is nie en hou dit buite bereik van kinders.
2.3.10. Indien die toestel om een of ander rede aan die brand slaan,
ontkoppel die toestel van die hoofkragtoevoer en MOENIE WATER
GEBRUIK OM DIE VUUR TE BLUS NIE.
2.4. Gids vir gereedskap
2.4.1. Mikrogolfoonde dring nie deur metaal nie. Gebruik slegs
gereedskap wat spesifiek ontwerp en goedgekeur is vir gebruik in ‘n
mikrogolfoond. Metaalhouers vir kos of drankies moet nie gebruik
word tensy die vervaardiger duidelik aandui dat hul grootte en vorm
geskik is vir mikrogolfkook nie.
2.4.2. Moenie metaalgereedskap of kookgerei met metaalversiering
gebruik nie, aangesien hierdie materiale vonke kan veroorsaak en
die mikrogolfoond kan beskadig.
2.4.3. Moenie herwinde papierprodukte in die mikrogolfoond
gebruik nie, aangesien dit klein metaaldeeltjies kan bevat wat vonke
en/of vuur kan veroorsaak.
2.4.4. Ronde of ovaal geregte word aanbeveel bo vierkantige of
reghoekige geregte, aangesien kos in die hoeke van vierkantige
houers geneig is om oor te kook.

2.5. Diens:
2.5.1. Maak seker dat die toestel slegs deur ‘n geskikte gekwalifi-
seerde tegnikus gediens word, en dat slegs oorspronklike onderdele
of bykomstighede gebruik word om bestaande onderdele/bykom-
stighede te vervang.
2.5.2. Indien die kragkabel beskadig is, moet die vervaardiger of sy
diensagent of ‘n soortgelyk gekwalifiseerde persoon dit vervang om
‘n gevaar te vermy.
2.5.3. Enige misbruik of versuim om die gebruiksaanwysings te
volg, maak die waarborg en die vervaardiger se aanspreeklikheid
nietig.
3. Gebruiksaanwysings:
3.1. Voor gebruik:
3.1.1. Voordat u die toestel aan die kragaansluiting koppel, maak
seker dat die timer op die “0”-posisie gestel is.
3.1.2. Voordat u die produk vir die eerste keer gebruik, maak die
dele skoon wat met voedsel in aanraking sal kom op die manier wat
in die skoonmaakafdeling beskryf word.
3.1.3. Rol die kragkabel heeltemal af voordat u dit inprop.
3.1.4. Monteer die glasdraaitafel deur eers die rolring binne-in die
mikrogolfoond te plaas. Plaas daarna die glasbak op die rotasiering
en maak seker dat dit in lyn is met die rotasie-as.
