IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• This appliance is intended for household use only. It is not fit for commercial use. Do not
use the appliance to heat anything other than water.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning its use by a person responsible for
their safety. Children should always be supervised and never allowed to handle or operate
the appliance unsupervised, as boiling water can cause serious burns.
• Do not switch on if there is a possibility that the water in the kettle is frozen.
• Do not fill above the “MAX” level, as boiling water may overflow. Ensure water is above the
minimum level before operation.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. If the supply cord is
damaged, it must be replaced by the Service Centre to avoid a hazard.
• When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury.
• Do not immerse the appliance, cord, or plug in water or other liquid.
• Unplug the appliance when not in use, before cleaning, and always turn it off at the main
plug. Never unplug by pulling on the cord.
• Use only the accessories provided with the appliance.
• Do not use the kettle outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity,
and sharp edges. Do not operate the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or
wet, unplug it immediately.
• This kettle must be used with the power base provided inside the packaging.
• Warning: Avoid spillage on the power connector and power base.
• Warning: Misuse of this appliance may cause injury.
• The heater base’s surface and other accessible parts of the appliance may remain hot
during and after use. Do not touch these surfaces; use only the handle to carry the
appliance.
• Always ensure that the lid is tightly closed before boiling or immediately after use if it
contains hot water, to prevent hot water from spilling.
• Do not open the lid when the water is boiling or immediately after use if it contains hot
water, as hot steam may escape and cause burns. Keep the lid closed when pouring water.
• Do not dry boil the kettle. Operating the appliance without water may cause damage and
overheating.
• Use the appliance only on a level, sturdy, and stable work surface.
• Before inserting the plug into the socket, ensure that the mains voltage matches that of the
appliance. This information can be found on the rating label.
