OWNER’S MANUAL

COMPLIANCE STATEMENT

ENGLISH

The CODE footcontroller (PEDL-91009) has two Modes of operation: PRESET Mode and SWITCH Mode. NOTE: The footcontroller will always power on in Preset Mode.

SWITCH MODE

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules.

Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

(1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2)

This device must accept any interference received, including

interference that may cause undesired operation.

Warning: Changes or modications to this unit not expressly

approved by the party responsible for compliance could void

the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply

with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part

15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide

reasonable protection against harmful interference in a

residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and

can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and

used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful

interference to radio communications. However, there is no

guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular

installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference

to radio or television reception, which can be determined by

turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to

try to correct the interference by one or more of the following

measures:

- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

- Increase the separation between the equipment and

receiver.

- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different

from that to which the receiver is connected. Consult the dealer

- To reinitialise your CODE footcontroller simply unplug and re-plug

the cable.

SWITCH Mode enables you to use footcon-

troller buttons 1 – 3 to activate or deactivate

assigned Section Switches and functions on the

amplier’s panel.

To enter SWITCH Mode from PRESET Mode,

press and hold any of the footcontroller but-

tons: 1 - 3.

NOTE: Press and hold the currently active but-

ton to change Mode without changing Preset.

Press and hold either of the remaining buttons

to change Mode while activating that button’s

assigned Preset.

The footcontroller display will show the Preset

number that you are currently on.

The three ASSIGNED SWITCH LEDs on the

right side of the footcontroller show the status

of the corresponding Section Switch: 1, 2 and

3. Red means the Section Switch is active, and

Green means it is inactive.

NOTE: The TAP Delay LED will ash red in time

with the current Tap Tempo Delay setting.

Footcontroller button 1 – 3 default Section

Switch assignment is:

1. PRE FX 2. MOD 3. DEL

To change the default Section Switch

assignments:

• Ensure the footcontroller is in SWITCH

mode.

• Press and hold your desired Section Switch

or Tuner/Tap Tempo function on the amplier

panel and then immediately select and

release the footcontroller button that you

wish to assign: 1 - 3.

• Your selected Section Switch or Tuner/

Tap Tempo function will now be assigned to

the corresponding footcontroller button.

• When you have assigned a panel function to

a footcontroller button, pressing EXIT/STORE

will return you to the main Preset screen.

• To overwrite it, repeat this process.

NOTE: To exit SWITCH Mode and return to

PRESET Mode, press the BANK footcontroller

button.

PRESET MODE

PRESET Mode enables you to assign any of

CODE’s 100 Presets to 30 locations within

the footcontroller. That’s ten Banks, each

containing three Presets.

The footcontroller’s two-digit display shows

on its left the BANK that you are currently

on (A –J), and on its right it shows the Preset

location NUMBER you are currently on: 1, 2

or 3, which correspond with footcontroller

buttons 1, 2 and 3.

The fourth footcontroller button selects the

BANK. Press once to increment the BANK.

Press and hold to decrement the BANK.

When you have selected your BANK, the

location NUMBER will ash on the display,

indicating a location has not been chosen.

Press footcontroller button 1 – 3 to select

your location.

Storing a Preset to a footcontroller location:

• Select a Preset on your CODE amplier

that you wish to store to the footcontroller.

• Choose a location on the footcontroller

that you wish to store to: BANK A - J.

• While holding down the EXIT/STORE

switch on the amplier panel, press and

release the desired button on the

footcontroller: 1 - 3.

• Your chosen Preset will now be recalled

when you select that footcontroller location.

den Betrieb: (1) Das Gerät darf keine schädlichen Störungen

verursachen; (2) Das Gerät muss jegliche Störungen, die das

Gerät erreichen, aufnehmen, einschließlich Störungen, die sich

auf unerwünschte Weise auf den Betrieb auswirken.

Achtung: Änderungen oder Modikationen dieses Geräts, die

nicht ausdrücklich durch die für die Einhaltung der Vorschriften

zuständige Stelle genehmigt sind, können zum Erlöschen der

Im UMSCHALTMODUS können Sie die

Fußboard-Knöpfe 1 - 3 betätigen, um

zugewiesene Bereichsschalter und -funktionen

an der Verstärkerplatte zu aktivieren oder

deaktivieren.

Um vom VOREINSTELLUNGSMODUS zum

UMSCHALTMODUS zu schalten, eine der

Fußboard-Knöpfe gedrückt halten: 1 - 3.

HINWEIS: Halten Sie den derzeit aktiven Knopf

gedrückt, um den Modus zu wechseln, ohne

Voreinstellungen zu ändern. Halten Sie einen

der übrigen Knöpfe gedrückt, um den Modus

zu wechseln und gleichzeitig die diesem Knopf

zugewiesenen Einstellungen zu aktivieren.

Auf dem Fußboard-Display wird die

Voreinstellungsnummer angezeigt, in der Sie sich

derzeit befinden.

Die drei ZUGEWIESENEN Schalter-LEDs auf

der rechten Seite des Fußboards geben den

Status des entsprechenden Bereichsschalters

an: 1, 2 und 3. Rot bedeutet, dass der

Bereichsschalter aktiv ist; grün heißt, er ist inaktiv.

HINWEIS: Die TAP-Delay-LED blinkt parallel zur

aktuellen Tap-Tempo-Delay-Einstellung rot.

Die Standardzuweisung des Bereichsschalters

der Fußboard-Knöpfe1 - 3 ist:

1. PRE FX 2. MOD 3. DEL

So ändern Sie die Standardzuweisungen des

Bereichsschalters:

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich das Fußboard im

UMSCHALTMODUS befindet.

• Halten Sie Ihren gewünschten Bereichsschalter

bzw. die Tuner-/Tap-Tempo-Funktion an der

Verstärkerplatte gedrückt; dann sofort den

Fußboard-Knopf auswählen und wieder

loslassen, den Sie zuweisen möchten: 1 - 3.

• Ihr(e) gewählte(r) Bereichsschalter bzw.

Tuner-/Tap-Tempo-Funktion wird nun dem

entsprechenden Fußboard-Knopf zugewiesen.

• Sobald Sie einem Fußboard-Knopf eine

Funktion an der Platte zugewiesen

haben, drücken Sie EXIT/STORE, um zum

Hauptbildschirm mit den Voreinstellungen

zurückzukehren.

• Um diese zu überschreiben, diesen Vorgang

wiederholen.

HINWEIS: Um den UMSCHALTMODUS

zu verlassen und wieder zum

VOREINSTELLUNGSMODUS zurückzukehren,

den Fußboard-Knopf der BANK drücken.

VOREINSTELLUNGSMODUS

Im VOREINSTELLUNGSMODUS können

Sie eine der 100 Voreinstellungen des

CODES 30 Stellen des Fußboards

zuzuweisen. So ergeben sich zehn Bänke

mit je drei Voreinstellungen.

Auf dem zweistelligen Display des

Fußboards wird links die BANK angezeigt,

auf der Sie sich gerade benden(A - J), und

rechts die NUMMER der voreingestellten

Stelle, an der Sie gerade sind: 1, 2 oder 3

– entsprechen den Fußboard-Knöpfen 1,

2 und 3.

Mit dem vierten Fußboard-Knopf wird die

BANK ausgewählt. Wird einmal gedrückt:

Die BANK wird erhöht. Wird gedrückt

gehalten: Die BANK wird verringert.

Haben Sie Ihre BANK ausgewählt, blinkt

auf dem Display die Stellen-NUMMER

angezeigt, was darauf hinweist, dass keine

Stelle ausgewählt wurde. Drücken der

Fußboard-Knöpfe 1 - 3: Auswahl Ihrer

Stelle.

Speichern der Voreinstellung einer

Fußboard-Stelle:

• Wählen Sie die Voreinstellung Ihres

CODE-Verstärkers, die Sie am Fußboard

speichern möchten.

• Wählen Sie die Stelle am Fußboard, die

Sie speichern möchten bei: BANK A - J.

• Halten Sie den EXIT/STORE-Schalter an

der Verstärkerplatte gedrückt, drücken

und lassen Sie den gewünschten Knopf

am Fußboard wieder los: 1 - 3.

• Ihre gewählte Voreinstellung wird

nun wieder angezeigt, wenn Sie diese

Fußboard-Stelle auswählen.
