Model Ice Machines Drain Pump SM
Installation Instructions
1. Disconnect power.
2. Remove two top cover screws and slide cover o.
3. Remove eight back panel screws and lift panel o.
4. Loosen the coupling panel and water inlet line clamp.
5. Remove bin drain tube and clamp.
6. Replace existing drain tting with new part.
7. Place two pieces of tape on the bottom of the drain pump.
8. Preassemble tubes on drain pump.
a. Pump Outlet Tube (13.50”)
b. Vent Tube (26.0 ”)
c. Bin Drain Tube
9. The drain pump plugs into and is wired to the ice machine. Cut the cable tie that is holding the wires together. Connect
wires, #41 and #42, to the drain pump and connect the plugs. -secure the wires with a cable tie. Re
10. Slide the drain pump into the machine; make sure the wires are routed up over the pump. Keep the wires away from the fan.
11. Attach the bin drain tube to the bin drain opening (where the original bin drain tube was installed.)
12. Route the vent tube up along the suction line. Secure the vent tube to the suction line with two cable ties.
13. Route the pump outlet tube behind the bin drain tube and out the coupling panel. Make sure there are no kinks in the tubing.
14. Use supplied spring clamps to secure tubing to all three drain pump outlets .
15. Connect power and manually ll bin with water until drain pump activates. Check tubing connections for leaks.
16. Reinstall panels and top cover.
NOTE: Drain hose requirements - Maximum Rise = 12 feet, Maximum Run = 100 feet
